Labatts from what you gave me to chose from. I mostly rock the German beer. I haven't drank since New Years though, but when I was like 16 and tried to drink to be cool the best thing was just taking two big malt liquor bottles and taping them to my hands, wanna be Edward 40-hands. Getting drunk isn't fun anymore though, it isn't tough to go and just go out and get drunk. Drunkenness is over-rated. I also regret drinking when I was younger, got me all out of shape with the no eating because I'm all bloated from the beer, the dehydration, the terrible eating the next day, the lazy day the next day, plus, its a bad habit now, bleh. And to critesy, only ****** beer eventually tastes like water, you just get used to the carbonated feel. You should be glad that you don't drink though, it grows on you and its a bad habit that I dislike, but a cold beer is great when you are just chilling out.

Thats what I drink most often, but not my favourite. I have to get my brand up North at my cottage in the Summer from a really small brewery :(

Speaking of brewing... There is a pretty cool brew from my area called Steam Whistle that stays carbonated over night so for those week long parties that is what you are going to want. Unfortunately that brew isn't great, not bad though, I give it a C+.

detroit4life
03-08-2007, 07:22 PM
bells is a great brewery Oberon is amazing i think it might be a michigan only beer and its only brewed in the summer but it is great. I didnt put the smaller breweries i figured i'd stick with the bigger names coors probably shoulda made it on the poll though

I concur. Highlife does suck, but it atleased get you hammered unlike keystone. I can drink a bakers dozen of those guys and still be half way sober.

By the way... how do you know what AIDS tastes like? You been getting down on magic johnson?

I choose Bud for it's versatility. Good when cold, still ok when lukewarm. Not all beers can say that. When it's ice cold though, Coors can't be beat.

I always thought that Keyston had more alcohol than most beer? Not that I ever bothered to check...

And I once had a fling with Eazy-E's last girlfriend. Not my best moment.

I don't know what it is, but keystone just dosen't do the job for me. It's almost like it's watered down or somthing. Some people say that Keystone is bottem of the barrle Coors, but I don't buy that. Coors light is delicious.

i agree, most are just throwing out answers lol...

im 23, and im only drinking bud ice or MGD(miller genuine draft), those are by far the best 2 ive had and i wont switch up for nothing...

although ill add while some are downing high life for being cheap and tasting nasty, i was drinking it for about 6 months and it tasted pretty good to me, not bad at all, especially for the price....

thing about beer its an acquired taste, which suits everyone differently...so its hard to say what taste universally good or bad

Somebody should make a thread concerning fountain soda. What type is the favorite and what do they call it in your region. I live in Upstate NY and we call it "soda" here. If I drive past Rochester, they start calling it "pop". I heard that in the south they call it "cocy-cole" ignoring the fact that it may very well not be a coca-cola.

I went to Hudson Valley Community College in Troy. Anyway yeah I know for a fact that in Minnesota its "pop" cause I lived there about 20 years ago when I was in kindergarten.

I'd love to get out to Wisconsin to to try some of the beer. That is one of my favorite things about traveling to cities across the US. Trying small microbrews that aren't available here in the NY/NJ area. I had a good beer down in Atlanta. Brewing company was called Sweetwater. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

yeah, trying different micro brews is a good time. my two friends (that are also beer nerds) and I have been keeping track of who makes the bitterest IPA. so far, it's either Tyranena Hop ***** or Titletown Brewery in Green Bay...that beer is called the Hoposaurus Rex.

I haven't tried it but I've seen my father drink it a lot recently and he loves it. This one liquor store near him just started carrying it. It is called Lagunitas I believe. He loves their IPA. I believe they are from the Bay Area in Cali.
