The wife needs a laptop or notebook for her school.

Basically the only thing she really needs it for is internet, word, excel, and occasionally a statistics program that she needs for her psychology major. She does use photoshop elements (requires 2.0 GHz and 1 GB of ram). Portability is a big requirement. I'd like to spend less than $500 on it.

Thoughts?

Is two GB of ram enough for the OP and Photoshop?
