Should Damix watch my house for me?

Ok, here's the story. Damix asked if he could crash at my place starting on Friday until he finds a place to live. I'm going out of town for 5 days on Thursday. Should I let Damix, who I've never actually met in real life, house sit for me while I'm gone? He's a cool guy who I've known through these forums and irc for awhile. He says he won't rob me or set my house on fire. What should I do?

He claimed to be a former NFL player, a former high school coach with numerous state titles, and a current college assistant coach, but it was discovered that he was none of these. He was a complete fraud. He kept this act up for 7 years. No one knew.

I think with daily updates on DC (with pictures of the mess he won't be making) it could work. Damix is a nice enough guy, and if you trust him I don't see a reason why not. I'd arrange a meeting of sorts before handing him the keys to your crib though.
