Oh jeez...

If we're going before I was born... The Drive (and also The Fumble and Red Right 88)

During my lifetime...wow there are a lot...

We'll start off with pretty much any game between the Browns and Steelers since 1999. The playoff loss was pretty bad too. (Although they have won some, most of them have been brutal)

The game against Arizona when Kellen Winslow caught the pass in the endzone and was pushed out, because I was there and looking back, they would have made the playoffs.

Losing to Cincinnati to clinch a playoff spot that same year.

Curveball- I hate the two recent Super Bowl wins by the Steelers and the Ravens Super Bowl win. It kills me.

January 28th, 1996.

Fewest INT's thrown all year for a QB that had 16 starts. And Neil 'Oh, thats a Cowboy's defender' O'Donnell throws 2 interceptions directly into Larry Brown's chest. Complete sack of ****.

Not to mention Larry Brown sucked balls. He was picked in the 12th round. And he sucked. STUPID!!!

I was 10 then so I don't really remember it that well but replays and what not, I've watched it.

Games I've seen and remember. Patriots in 2004. We went 15-1. And beat them earlier in the year. And then the playoff game we were not even close.

Definitely disagree, it's 2005 all the way imo. The playoff loss to the Steelers. Everything was set up for them, the Broncos in the AFCCG and Seattle in a dome for the Super Bowl, and they completely blew it. So badly on multiple fronts. Can't even get into it the game itself, deep down I don't think I've fully gotten over it yet.

If there's one game you couldn't pay me to watch again, it's that one.

Yeah that's definately up there. It's the only game I witnessed in person and I was surrounded by steeler fans. I don't know it's just something about new England that just eats away at my stomach.

All 97 losses in the Millen era spring to mind. But mainly All 16 of Detroits games last year. Tough to get over that. Especially the 7 blowouts. The 7 losses after a 6-2 start in 2007 was also brutal. Playoffs losses in the 90s don't bother me anymore after the Millen era.

I'm tempted to say the 94 Super Bowl, but that was just a mismatch. It's got to the 06 divisional playoffs @SD vs. New England.

New England won in the final minute after...

2 (deserved! wtf drayton a headbutt argggghhh) personal fouls that converted third downs for the opposing offense.

eric parker dropped 3 passes on third down, and then muffed and lost a punt.

Kaeding missed two chippy field goals

Horrifying Rivers interception

LT got 9 touches in the second half despite utterly dominating in the first, with a lead.

Marty elects to go for it on 4th and 11, in FG range, on the first possession of the game.

MARLON MCCREE INTERCEPTS THE BALL ON 4TH DOWN WITH 6 MINUTES LEFT AND FUMBLES IT AWAAAAAAAAY while running around like a jerkoff.

holy god it was a living nightmare. I can't believe it was a last second loss.

Denny "Take a Knee" Green & ******' Gary Andersen... :( I was living with a bunch of Packer fans in Madison at the time. I had to go take a walk so one of those tauting pricks didn't get punched in the face.

The Colts loss to the Steelers in '05 hurt, definitely. But if you go back 10 years when Jim Harbaugh led the surprising Colts to the AFCCG but just lost by an arm's length... it probably had to do with my young age at the time but I'd really gotten swept up in the Colts that year, and to see it end like that still makes my stomach turn.

It would have to be the Divisional Game against the Steelers. Anytime the Colts got any sort of luck in that game, it was wasted. The fumble by the Bus looked like it was gonna be returned until Big Ben made a brilliant tackle, the missed Field Goal etc all made that game unbearable. Also, it should have been the Colts year and it would have been brilliant to win it for Tony Dungy, whose son had only passed away a few weeks before the game. I still remember all the players and coaches, on both teams, just saying "He missed it" when Vanderjagt missed his field goal.

Other than these, I'd say the divisonal playoff game against Denver at mile high. The phantom pass-interference call, the, IMO touchback, but it was waaaay too close to call, on the Watson-Bailey play.

for me, as well as any Packer fan, it's between the 4th and 26 play and the 2007 NFCCG against the Giants. for, me, i lean towards the NFCCG. just because we were SUPPOSED to win that game. and there were so many plays that could've won it for us. i knew going into the game that i'd either be depressed or euphoric based on the outcome. and it sucked. And, the funny thing is, i was honestly drained of emotion by the time the game ended. I distinctly remember watching the Giants line up for a short field goal at the end of regulation. when they missed, i had no reaction. didn't cheer at all. just took a deep breath and braced myself for OT while everyone around me exploded.

the Eagles game was way different. the Packers were underdogs. on the road. yeah, i got my hopes up severely when we had 'em backed up to 4th and 26. but, it didn't last. it wasn't like the Giants game where i spent a week before the game EXPECTING to win and thinking about how awesome the Superbowl would be.

the superbowl loss to Denver didn't bother me. it would've if i didn't just get to watch the Packers win the superbowl the year before. i was mad. but, the Packers were just outplayed in that game. Denver was the better team, and they just wanted it more.

side note. the vikings and packers have had a similar decade. both had 2 games that resulted in the heartbreaking end of a very promising season. i still think the viking fans have it tougher because they've never won a superbowl...and that 1998 team probably would've if they didn't blow it against the DirtyBirds. that superbowl (denver vs atlanta) was a real stinker too. Falcons never stood a chance. and if the 'queens made it, it could've been epic.

There are three that stick out in my mind vividly:

The 1990 NFC Championship game against New York.
- Roger Craig just had to fumble in the final minutes of the game to screw our chances of making a three-peat.

The 1992 NFC Championship game against Dallas.
- That was probably the best 49ers team not to go to the Super Bowl from the 90's.

The 1997 NFC Championship game against Green Bay.
- I think we would have kicked Denver's ass like we did earlier in the season if we had made it back to the Super Bowl.

without a doubt the 1998 NFC Championship game we had that game won, i was so sure we were going to win the super bowl that year too :( .

After the 2007 NFC championship game, I didn't speak for 3 after they lost and then the next day, a Giants fan got in my face and was rubbing it in at school the next day and I exploded and proceeded to kick the **** out of him in the school gym. Yeah, I wasn't mad at all.

I thought we were destined to lose that game.. We should have ended it with that end of regulation FG! Eli led a damn good drive, and damn Tynes misses it.

The TWO AFC championship game the steelers blew at home against the pats....2001 and 2004 i believe.

At this point I don't even care about another super bowl title, I just want to beat a Tom Brady lead pat's team in the playoffs

Gotta be the Super Bowl. Rex plays like ****, defense plays like ****, coaching sucks and yet we still had a chance to win that game.

Oh and for me it'd have to be the Tuck Rule even though I wasn't a huge fan back then... if not that then the Time Out called by Shanahan last year which prevented us to beat the Broncos... and once when KC drived all the way to beat us like in 2005 or 2006 maybe? I don't remember the exact date. The Super Bowl against Tampa was also awfull..

The Superbowl loss is definetly up there.

The loss against the Falcons last year when Kyle Orton took us up the field and scored the go-ahead TD with about 10 seconds left, for some reason we chose to squib kick and give the Falcons great field position.. one pass later and the Falcons have the win.

Needless to say I was not very pleased at all.

Riiiight, I'm sure they would

Broncos fans have a lot to choose from IMO. The Super Bowls in the 80's, the 1996 AFC Division game loss to the Jaguars, the 2005 AFC Championship game loss to the Steelers, the 41-3 loss to the Chargers in 2007 at home.

I think we would have, I honestly think we were the best team that year and I don't think there's any homerism in saying that. It doesn't matter though, in fact it just makes the loss worse.

Roll your eyes all you want, but the 49ers kicked the Broncos ass that year. Not really a reason as to why they couldn't do it a second time that same season.

Norwood was returning really well up to that point in the season right? I think squib kick was the right call there, even though it lost you the game.

I kinda forgot about the 2005 AFC championship, I think I tried to block it out. I had to watch it at like 2am because I was overseas, it was just that much more depressing. Worst game in Bronco history has to be the Super Bowl against the 49ers. Just aweful.

The game was in San Fran, Terrell Davis got hurt in the game. The game was actually close before TD left, and even though he only had 29 yards on 10 carries, his injury impacted the game.
Plus, just because the 49ers beat up on the Broncos in the regular season doesn't equate to it happening again. Heck, the Broncos kicked the Colts but in 2003 during the regular season, and then got absolutely annhilated in the playoffs.
You act like the Broncos were freakin horrible, they had an amazing team.

Thank god I wasn't a fan back then.

Since I've been a fan...I guess the 2005 Wild Card loss to the Pats? I dunno, there haven't been many "omg fml" games since I've been a fan.

Those were bad. In recent history, the game against the Cardinals on Monday Night Football last year was horrible. Who the heck calls a FB dive when you're on the 2 yard line and its the last play of the game??
