TJ Houshmanzadeh is upset about his madden rating. Do you think his complaining is warranted or does he need to **** about it and just play?

he shouldn't be giving a **** about his rating on a video game.

This is more childish than anything T.O. or Chad Johnson have ever done.

He's a 91? Thats ridiculous!! 87 at the most, dude is overrated!

Haven't played the game in years, but 91 sounds a bit favorable for a guy with his lack of speed and acceleration. His hands and toughness and experience and things like that ought to be very high, but in order for him to be up there at the top of the WR's, he needs more speed. I'm guessing his speed is actually pretty overrated on there just to put his number up high enough. He's a very good receiver, but 10th overall sounds about right imo. If anything I'd rate him a little lower. But really, how do you compare a guy like Steve Smith to TJ Houshmandzadeh? Being ranked 10th overall is damn near like being ranked 5th or 6th. What does he expect? 7th? What's the difference? He and everybody on the planet knows he's not on the level of the big 4. And then you've got guys like Wayne and Boldin and Smith... and on and on with that 2nd tier. 9th or 10th is about as early as you can insert him with a straight face.

Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Calvin Johnson, Terrell Owens, Randy Moss, Steve Smith, Anquan Boldin, Brandon Marshall, Wes Welker, Reggie Wayne, Lee Evans, Chad Ochocinco, Greg Jennings, Donald Driver, Antonio Bryant, Tory Holt, Lav Coles, Santana Moss, Dwayne Bowe are all better than Houshmandzadeh!!

This is the stupidest thing i've ever heard. Last year MeAngelo was complaining about his rating, then the Raiders cut him.

No he complained this year and he has a right to. Deangelo Hall's rating in Madden 10 this year will be a 68, he has right to gripe. There are late round rookie CB's who have higher ratings than him. And Hall just said that he's using it to motivate this season. Housh saying he'll boycott the game for giving him a 91 is just douchy to the max.

I don't think it is, he also has a ridiculous ego and can be an idiot at times. Hence my dislike for him.

I've always hated him more than Ocho Cinco, Housh is selfish and cocky as hell, IMO Ocho is just funny.

The Seahawk that should be complaining is Brandon Mebane, he's rated a 71. Below Lawrence Jackson, Daryl Tapp, Colin Cole and Corey Redding.

BTW, my guess is that Housh was kidding.

egotistical and an idiot at times yes, but rarely does he use interviews to cry about it.

didn't madden overhaul their rating system this year so that they're less inflated?

That pic is making me wonder if I'm ever gonna get used to the Jags' new unis.

anyways, he probably is too high, not too low.

I say madden strikes back...whenever he drops a pass or screws up on the field in the game..have the crowd chant, OV-ER-RATED!!!

If i were him i'd be happy i got a 91...didn't he get 904 yards last year? His strributes put him in the elite for what his strengths actually are. His weaknesses are actually his weaknesses. 91 is more than fair.

Get the **** over it. If he isn't going to play Madden because of his rating then that's his loss.

If they made TJ any better he would be better then Calvin Johnson, someone needs to tell him this. Plus I don't think he was listening very well when they said they scaled back ratings for everyone, nobody is going to make TJ as speedster in the game.

He's upset about his speed (86) which seems accurate to me.

He's pretty annoying and I'm a Hawks fan.

What was even worse was that in the segment Patrick Crayton was upset about his hands being an 86...

a 91 would mean he is overrated, even in the old inflated system.

Douchemanzadeh needs to shut up and play

This entire situation is stupid. It's stupid that he'd say it, it's stupid that it's being reported, and it's stupid that anyone cares. I'm boycotting this news story.

TJ Houshmandzedah is upset about being rated 91? Tell that to Mike Walker, projected starting wide-out for the Jaguars, rated a 48.

Oh, I see. He's complaining about his speed. And he's blaming the lack of 50 yard catches on the offense.

He also says at the end of the interview that he's not taking it personally, he just answered a question and it turned into a huge thing.

Also I have to call BS on theit explanation of how they come up with ratings. They say they watch every game and get scouting reports on every player..if they actually did that they wouldnt have guys like Brandon Mebane rated 71, when he should be atleast an 85.

SeanTaylorRIP

They explained to him that he is top 3 in the entire game in hands, route running, and toughness, but apparently that is not enough for him, he wants to be top 3 in speed as well.
