Hey, I figured this is a good idea....

If you come across something you've read that you'd like to share with the group, then post the link here. Your source could be anywhere as long as it's not from a rival NFL draft forum.

I read this nice article about what the old Hawaii coach June Jones had to say about last year's draft...

Thought this was neat... Patrick Willis is a die hard Cowboy fan. lol. He used to fight his cousin everytime his cousin mentioned the Niners. hahaha.

It's a heated one for the Giants moreso than the Cowboys... I think.

But this weekend is gonna be nuts! Wish I could be there... The crowd might break the NFL attendance record.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-cowboys-partypass&prov=ap&type=lgns

To see a Pro Game with that kind of attendance is gonna be surreal. Big time college teams do that, but not usually NFL teams. What's next...? We gonna have a band? LMAO! :D

Supposedly the roof will be open too! Alright!!!

I read this and it got me sad...

...and we literally have nothing to show for from this class that will help us this year besides a kickoff specialist.

Here's an interesting draft thing regarding 3-4 defenses.

Reading that was a waste of my time. Typical... making mountains out of mole hills just to make news. These media folk must really believe that everyone reads their crap all the time. I'm sorry, if the media misreports stuff like they do all the time, it's not the player's or team's responsibility to correct them. You never hear that. All you ever hear from NFL teams when they are put on the spot are "I don't know where they got that from". ...and that's the damn truth. For Galloway to expect an official reaction from the Cowboys on some report as minor as who made the mistake on one route is completely ridiculous to me. Somebody fire the guy.

This is exactly what is wrong with the team if true. Throwing a young guy under the bus for Romo?

"Not-my-fault" is a cancer afflicting our society today. This team has it.

You know what is funny? The "I was told", "according to experts" crap that a lot of sport journalist use. Everytime they have a "big news" they can't reveal the source... curious, uh?
"I took that info as the truth, based on who said it, and it was later confirmed by others" by who? He doesn't say their names because no one told he anything, he's making the story up so he can't tell us his sources...

Interesting that Jenkins reads off of Ware...that scares me..and probably is the reason that Mike hasn't been as tough against the quick pass with the missed tackles...but still good read.

From the sound of things at the press conference...and I'm reaching here...but it sounded as though Wade wanted him back. The fact that Jerry basically said they went over each and every coach, makes me believe that Wade has/had the ability to make that decision.

Jerry: Have not talked to assistants yet about extensions, but Wade wants to do it and that's his call, and we will do that. If it had gone the other way they wouldn't get an extension. All of our coaches are expected back except Todd, we added Paul, but all of our coaches should be back.

Looking past the stats, this guy is as clutch of a kicker (CFL or NFL) as I could possibly remember. The kicker position is much easier to gauge when jumping up in level of talent - for obvious reasons - so there's not much reason to say he can't compete in the NFL on some team's roster. I wish him the best, and hopefully you guys have found a gem here.

Sounds like a genuine fellow.

If he can kick that's all that matters though. Hate to use a pick on a kicker. His experience is a plus.

LOL@Jerry... He can't help himself. We all know that he will look for trades. More specifically... trade downs. I wish he would look to trade up. When he has, it has been a good payoff... See Mike Jenkins... Anthony Spencer...

The trade downs kill us.

Anyone get the idea that maybe Odrick has jumped on our radar by accident? Jerry was looking at Iupati, but Odrick might have caught his eye. All reports say Odrick had the better of Iupati, so hey.. hey... hey.... Keep an eye on Odrick through the draft process. ;)

Incredible find Thule.

I honestly don't even know where they go from here. So many different options.

It sucks that we have to wait 10 months to be excited about a cowboys dream. this is worse than a nightmare.

Good read on who we may have been scouting up to this point...and games we've been at.

Also a good read on coaching candidates that we haven't talked about yet.
