Favre was at the top of jersey sales pretty much his entire career as a packer even though they haven't changed at all since about 1988.

I am shocked about Flaccco. I think its because as a rookie he is the best QB since Vinny. And we have seen flashes of his talent and he can be a beast.

Wow, Troy Polamalu is the only defensive player on that list.

Flacco is a fine player, I'm just shocked more established players like Ray Lewis or Ed Reed aren't ahead of him. I figured those guys would be the top Ravens year in, and year out.

I question why any Viking Fan would want to wear favre's name on a jersey in the first place. The day he signed I told my parents don't dare buy me a Vikings Favre jersey.

It's not that surprising considering that the majority of those names are players that are either in the peak of their popularity or relatively new. Basically why would people buy ray lewis and ed reed jerseys NOW as opposed to years ago?

I would never get an offensive player on the Ravens over Lewis/Reed/Ngata/Suggs

A Michael Oher or Jared Gaither jersey would be pretty sweet

People that are going to buy Ed Reed or Rey Lewis jerseys pretty much already have bought them by now.

Exactly. It's like people making a big deal out of Kobe Bryant having the best jersey sales in China. It's because everyone already bought Yao jerseys five years ago.

Another thing that shocks me the most is that Carbtree is the only player in the top 20 that is on a team that had a jersey. change. Didn't the Jags change their jersey to try and get some money?

CJ will go up when the Lions win a few games. Aint no one buyin a 0-16 team's jersey

Favre being number one isn't a shocker at all. Vick at number four isn't a surprise but I question how many support him now that didn't after the trial. Aaron Rodgers should be higher on that list! I mean honestly, I didn't think Flacco would outsell Rodgers anyday. Maybe after the playoffs this year, Rodgers will move up some more. Get what I did there?

The Jaguars don't have very many marketable players. Jones-Drew, but there are only two running backs on that list. Tomlinson and Peterson.

Outside of Jacksonville, I don't think people are looking to buy those jerseys before any of those guys on the list.
