Way to take a nice story and ruin it by equating it with why people hate the Yankees. The two are completely unrelated. I don't hate the Yankees because they do or do not pay for funerals.

With that said, all those Yankee fans who complain about their team being hated, answer me this:

Why do you hate the Red Sox?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with hating the rival team....IT'S NATURAL!!!!

oh is this fire that happend in the city where a lot of kids got killed, that was pretty sad, and it s nice of the yanks for doing it even thought i m a met fan, it was cus there were babys that were killed, and two babys were saved since they were thrown from the window

I think he is more referring to peopel across the country. There is nothing wrong with a Red Sox fan or Mets fan hating the Yankees. We get it, you're envious.

ahahaha- the yankees are terrible, im a semi-fan because that is wat i have grown up with but really steinbrenner and the whole organization are monsters
