Week three pregame thread

Location: Qwest
Chicago is 0-2, and the Jay Cutler trade is not looking very great from their end. Frankly, their offense is not very good and with Urlacher out, their D isn't all-world like it was before. I'm pretty sure Hass is out, and our offense is pretty vanilla with Seneca, but our weapons on offense will be good enough to score at least 14.

one thing we need to worry about is Jon Ryan and his tendency to outkick our abysmal punt coverage. Devin Hester is the best returner in the game, and should be treated like such. Kick it high or out of play please.

After struggling in the first half of the season-opener against the Packers, Cutler has been red hot. In a game and a half since then, the Bears quarterback has completed 69.2 percent of his passes for 386 yards with 3 touchdowns, 1 interception and a 101.9 passer rating.

And the defense was great against both, the Packers and the Steelers.

I have to disagree with you hear jballa. Jay Cutler is a gunslinger. They knew that when they traded for him. He's gonna have games like he did in week 1, but they are already used to that in chicago after years of Rex Grossman. Has he lived up to trading two #1's for him, no. Their TE Greg Olson is going to become a very key piece to their offense since they have almost no one who is a consistent receiving threat at WR.

Their defense is still going to be tough. It starts with the front 4, and Urlacher is able to do what he does because of them. Will they be as effective? No, probably not, but they will be good.
