Quoted for truth. The whole Child Please and Kiss the baby was cool and original when he said it but when people on a message board say it, it's not funny at all. Especially when they aren't Bengals fans.

I have mixed emotions about the Leap. I respect it because he backed up his talk but the fact that he planted fans in the endzone defeats the purpose, no?

Loud mouth players always get their talent overstated, people love to play the "he was so good if he had just had his head on straight."

I still find it hilarious that there was ever a comparison between Moss and Owens.

Like Brandon Marshall right now, if he wasn't talking, he'd be known for what he is, an elite possession receiver, that isn't an elite touchdown threat.

But noooo, we have to hear about how he has "all the talent in the world" and things like that, so instead of just saying he's a really good talent, he has to be one of the best talents ever, but just didn't put it together.

It's a weird phenomena, but I think all guys who rub people the wrong way get their talent overstated. I call it Rasheed Wallace Syndrome.

I've never really been a fan of Ocho Cinco but I can't say I hate him. He's an entertainer first, a football player second to me. Paying for seats of the Bengals fans he jumped into takes away any credibility that the Lambeau Leap promise had.

He said he'd score a TD and jump into the stands in your stadium. So, he pays for the seats of a few Bengals fans for when he scores the Td. The Packers know this. He still scores a Td, and jumps into those very fans. There's no lack of credibility there. Unfortunately, he made a mockery out of the Lambeau leap and the Green Bay secondary as he did to Cleveland Dawg pound a few years ago. I can understand why Packers fans are a little salty. Still, he told you he'd do it, so he scores the game-winning Td and does it. Shame on the Packers defense in allowing him to make a mockery out of the leap, not shame on Chad for jumping into the fans that he had designated for just that event.

TO was/is a better player, but Chad's been a pretty damn good player in his own right, a legit franchise caliber number 1 who shifts coverages. Similar to your falcons' very own Rody White, not an elite, top 5, WR but a true number one who is in the upper echelon of NFL WRs.

The only bad season that people made him out to be a "headache to the team" was last year, and he admitted it was a bad season with everything involved (Palmer going down, and the subsequent lack of trying by the whole team) and apologized for it.

Your memory must be off, because he didn't really do anything in 2007, besides put on a makeshift future HoF jacket.

Anyone sensing a theme here?

The NFL fined Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco $30,000 for wearing a sombrero after he scored a touchdown during Sunday's win over Detroit, according to an NFL source.

In a letter the NFL sent this week to Ochocinco, the league wrote, "During the second quarter of the Bengals qame, you were observed gesturing for, and then wearing, a decorative poncho and sombrero in the bench area. ...

"Compounding your violation is the fact that your actions were premeditated and deliberate. Prior to the game on your publicly accessible Twitter account, you posted the following: '@adam_schefter what I've planned for today will get me fined when I score but it's so worth it.'"

I love Chad. He's one of my favorite players when he's not pushing it too far and angering his team-mates. As long as he's not a problem in the locker room, I'm all for him.
