1. St. Louis Rams
http://i36.tinypic.com/rkmqlk.png
Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame
The Rams are horrible, and could use an upgrade at any and every position. It all starts with the quarterback though, and Clausen has everything you look for in a pro prospect.
2. Cleveland Browns
http://i33.tinypic.com/15polm8.png
Eric Berry, S, Tennessee
While the Rams are the worst team in the NFL, the Browns aren't far behind. Like the Rams, the Browns could draft nearly any player and it'd be an automatic upgrade. Eric Berry is the best defensive playmaker in college football, and it should translate to the NFL.
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
http://i38.tinypic.com/155gwg8.png
Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska
The Buccaneers have a major hole at defensive tackle, and Suh should fill it. Many have Gerald McCoy ranked above Suh, but Suh has been simply unstoppable this season, and is the best defensive tackle prospect in years.
4. Kansas City Chiefs
http://i35.tinypic.com/21l7fo3.png
Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State
A few players are on the table here, including Taylor Mays and Sergio Kindle, but my money is on the Chiefs addressing the offensive line. I've got Okung as the clear cut number one senior offensive tackle, possessing the athleticism to start on the left, and the strength to start on the right.
5. Oakland Raiders
http://i36.tinypic.com/13z7u4x.png
Taylor Mays, S, Southern California
This isn't exactly rocket science. Luckily for Raider fans, this time the athlete is actually worth the pick.
6. San Francisco 49ers(f/CAR)
http://i35.tinypic.com/2exu904.png
Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma
Sam Bradford is still the top ranked quarterback on many people's list, but with his injury allowing Clausen to come into the spotlight, and more serious questions about whether Bradford is a system product following Landry Jones's relative success, Bradford will fall down the board slightly, much to the 49ers' delight.
7. Buffalo Bills
http://i35.tinypic.com/11qlczo.png
Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa
To get a grasp on Buffalo's offensive line problems, Jason Peters led the league in sacks allowed last season, they traded him, and now they're worse off. Bryan Bulaga is a complete offensive tackle who should be the long term solution to Buffalo's left tackle woes.
8. Miami Dolphins
http://i38.tinypic.com/17raj6.png
Sergio Kindle, LB, Texas
Outside of the 32-year old Joey Porter, the Dolphins lack a pass rushing threat, which will doom any 3-4 defense. Sergio Kindle is a great athlete with experience at both linebacker and defensive end and should give the Dolphins that much need threat.
9. Tennessee Titans
http://i36.tinypic.com/ngdjs5.png
Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma
We all knew Albert Haynesworth would be hard to replace, but apparently he had a much bigger role in the Titans' success than expected. McCoy is the top ranked defensive tackle by many, and while not exactly the same type of tackle as Haynesworth, he should help return the presence of a dominating tackle to the Titans' defense.
10. Detriot Lions
http://i38.tinypic.com/2akgwih.png
Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida
Jim Schwartz may be the coach the Lions have needed for years, but Detroit is still extremely short on defensive talent. Not only is Dunlap one of the most athletic and talented players in this year's draft, but he fills possibly the biggest hole on the Lions' team.
11. Washington Redskins
http://i36.tinypic.com/fyz5o0.png
Sean Weatherspoon, LB, Missouri
The Redskins lack an impact linebacker, and Weatherspoon is just that. Weatherspoon is a do-it-all tackling machine and the perfect pick for the 'Skins.
12. Jacksonville Jaguars
http://i36.tinypic.com/2ue6x4y.png
Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State
The Jaguars are currently using a receiver by committee system, with no standouts, which is exactly what Dez Bryant would be. His suspension will create serious questions, but he's simply too much of a talent at a need position for the Jags to pass him up.
13. Seattle Seahawks
http://i35.tinypic.com/2v2ijy0.png
C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson
Seattle has woes at both quarterback and running back, but with the talent on the board, C.J. Spiller is the best choice. While I have questions about his ability to be an every down back, he's unquestionably an all-purpose threat, with the ability to take every run, catch, or return to the house. He'll likely run an official 40 yard dash in the 4.3 range, which certainly can't hurt his stock.
14. Arizona Cardinals
http://i37.tinypic.com/9urxn9.png
Allen Bailey, DE, Miami(FL)
Allen Bailey cheats at life. He once beat an alligator to death with a shovel, and then ate it. Earlier, I said it wasn't rocket science picking for the Raiders. I was lying. Al Davis may finally croak choosing between Taylor Mays and Allen Bailey.
15. Houston Texans
http://i33.tinypic.com/z8lte.png
Joe Haden, CB, Florida
Dunta Robinson is a good corner, and Fred Bennett has been something of a surprise, but make no mistakes about it, the Texans could certainly use a good, young corner. Haden is just that, and should start from day one.
16. Dallas Cowboys
http://i35.tinypic.com/xdb613.png
Arrelious Benn, WR, Illinois
When the Cowboys traded a first and third for him, they were certainly expecting more out of Roy Williams. He hasn't produced to the level the Cowboys anticipated, and none of the other receivers have used their chance to step up. Rejus Benn has been a receiving threat since his true freshman season, something the Cowboys desperately need.
17. San Diego Chargers
http://i36.tinypic.com/30lyl2v.png
Terrence Cody, DT, Alabama
Jamal Williams has been the keystone for the Chargers' defense the past decade, but even if he fully recovers from his season-ending injury, he'll be 33 years old. At 6'5, 365 lbs, Cody physically is a near clone of Williams, and should both literally and figuratively fill the hole vacated by Williams.
18. Green Bay Packers
http://i34.tinypic.com/2hi5oxz.png
Arthur Jones, DE, Syracuse
When the Packers switched to the 3-4 defense, nearly none of the players on the roster had a natural position in the new formation. B.J. Raji gave the Packers the crucial nose tackle, and Arthur Jones should give them a true defensive end for their 3-4 formation.
19. Cincinnatti Bengals
http://i37.tinypic.com/sbhrpx.png
Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma
The Bengals drafted Chase Coffman in the third round last year, but he hasn't exactly blown it up so far. None of the tight ends on the roster match Jermaine Gresham's talent and athleticism, and his lack of a season preluding the draft allows him to fall right into the Bengals' lap.
20. Denver Broncos(f/CHI)
http://i34.tinypic.com/209srjp.png
Tony Pike, QB, Cincinnati
Kyle Orton has actually played pretty well so far, but he's little more than a game-manager, and I've got a feeling McDaniels wants someone he can open up the offense with. Pike is just that. Pike is big with good arm strength, and has been picking apart defenses all season long.
21. New York Jets
http://i33.tinypic.com/xkr9sw.png
Brandon Deaderick, DE, Alabama
With the acquisition of Braylon Edwards, the Jets' key need is defensive end. The only problem is, with Bailey and Jones off the board, there really isn't a player worth the pick here. And since I'm not going to work out a trade-down scenario, here comes the surprise/reach of the draft. Many people are going to say, 'Why not Wootton?', but the fact is, Wootton only had one good season before his injury, and hasn't played well so far. Deaderick is a quietly good lineman for the Tide, and he already has experience at the 3-4 defensive end position.
22. Philadelphia Eagles
http://i35.tinypic.com/ddmceg.png
Brandon Spikes, LB, Florida
Spikes is an absolute monster middle linebacker. He can both play the run and drop back in coverage extremely well. He's a big thumper who should fit the Eagles' defense perfectly.
23. San Francisco 49ers
http://i34.tinypic.com/2dw56vo.png
Greg Hardy, LB, Mississippi
The 49ers addressed their quarterback issue with the selection of Sam Bradford, and now they address their pass rush problems with Greg Hardy. He's a great athlete who when he's on, he's possibly the best pass rusher in the country.
24. Seattle Seahawks(f/DEN)
http://i34.tinypic.com/2hozc6u.png
Colt McCoy, QB, Texas
C.J. Spiller addresses their running back problem, and now McCoy does the same for the quarterback problem. While he doesn't have the physical ability of the quarterbacks drafted earlier, he's the most efficient passer in the class. He'll never be a Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, or Drew Brees, but he should be a very reliable passer for years to come.
25. Atlanta Falcons
http://i38.tinypic.com/33bpamc.png
Brandon Graham, DE, Michigan
Jamaal Anderson is a bust, and John Abraham is 31 years old. The Falcons could use a good, young pass rusher, and that's what Graham is. Graham is a little squat, but he simply produces, which is exactly what the Falcons need and look for.
26. Minnesota Vikings
http://i38.tinypic.com/3524r9v.png
Tim Tebow, QB, Florida
Brett Favre has proved to the Vikings what they're capable of if they have a quarterback worth a damn. With all the preferred options off the board, the Vikings take a gamble on Tebow. Serious questions exist about Tebow's ability to translate to the pro game, but his heart and determination are unmatched.
27. Pittsburgh Steelers
http://i33.tinypic.com/m7yyy1.png
Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma
Trent Williams is a top fifteen pick in numerous mocks, but I'm predicting his stock to drop when teams begin questioning his ability to play left tackle. Regardless of what side he plays in the pros, the Steelers need offensive lineman, and Williams is the type of blocker they like.
28. New England Patriots
http://i33.tinypic.com/ve7pki.png
Jonathan Dwyer, RB, Georgia Tech
The Patriots are going to be tempted by the defensive talent still on the board, but the a young runner who they can rely on, and Dwyer's combination of size, strength, and speed is too much to pass up.
29. New York Giants
http://i34.tinypic.com/346wd1h.png
Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama
The Giants don't have any major holes, so at this point, it's best player available. McClain is just that. McClain has top fifteen potential if he stays another year, but regardless, he's a great athlete with a nose for the ball.
30. Indianapolis Colts
http://i37.tinypic.com/azevs4.png
Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers
Jeff Otah had a great rookie season, but after that, it's all down-hill. His replacement, Charles Johnson, isn't exactly the cream of the crop either. Anthony Davis gives the Colts an athletic left tackle who should be Peyton Manning's last blindside protector.
31. New Orleans Saints
http://i33.tinypic.com/5a3nmq.png
Morgan Burnett, S, Georgia Tech
If Malcolm Jenkins moves to safety, this pick is null, but as of now, the Saints still could use a playmaking safety. Morgan Burnett is a rangy ballhawk who can come up play the run, and he should remain a quarterback's nightmare at the pro level.
32. Baltimore Ravens
http://i38.tinypic.com/2w3dicx.png
Brandon LaFell, WR, Louisiana State
Derrick Mason's return gave the Ravens' a threat at receiver for at least one more year, but he can't play forever. Even if he could, he's only one player, and another option is surely needed. LaFell is a receiver with good size, strength, and speed and should become Joe Flacco's new best friend.
http://i36.tinypic.com/rkmqlk.png
Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame
The Rams are horrible, and could use an upgrade at any and every position. It all starts with the quarterback though, and Clausen has everything you look for in a pro prospect.
