Talk about sport events you have been in or watched that were were great.

For me in 8th grade my basketball team was in our league playoff, and idk what the score was but it was close probably like 25 to 28. Well there was 3 seconds left in the half, and my friend shot a half court shot. The ball it the very top the the hoop, bounce straight up into the air for about 2 seconds and landed in the hoop. Crowd went wild, tied the game and we eneded up killing them in the second half and winning our league

Another one for me is in 3rd grade, in a Sacramento basketball league. There was like 4 seconds left in the game and it was all tied up. I hit a half court shot for the win on a regular sized court. It was crazy and happened like 2 days after Robert Horry hit the game winning shot against the Kings. Every1 was calling me Horry for the rest of the year

Last year during sophmore football i went 99 yards for the strip six.

and another one during my freshman year in the city championship game my hockey team was down by 1 and i took it the length of the ice juked the goalie, hit the post got it behind the net and shot it off the goalie's back and in with .9 seconds left to send it into over time. We won in OT and clinched a spot for reigonals.

I blocked a punt in 3rd grade flag football. Pretty impressive considering there is no rush allowed on punts.....until you find out the kid basically booted a line drive into my face

During high school, I played junior hockey and still hold two league records: most time spent in the penalty box; and I was the only guy to ever take off his skate, and try to stab somebody.

Yesterday (I'm a 5'6'' 165 pound varsity football left tackle) I blindsided this huge 210 pound linebacker and he was on his ass... it was pretty awesome. Then I ran like a girl because he put a face like he was going to kill me.

FML true story. My first year ever playing corner, I had good coverage but I tripped on my own feet and he scored. Funniest part of the game was your extra point team I always lined up against you. Since that game my school is 12-0 in regular season play however, I think we're playing Holy Trinity next week Chris.

One time, I took a gun with me on the football field; shot three people on my way to a TD; and then turned the gun on myself, after discussing how life is a *****.

Now, true story, I once tackled Chase Daniel. Also, I was once blocked by Jarvis Moss. And also, in that same game against Southlake-Carroll, Garrett Hartley talked **** to me. HE WAS THE KICKER!

I was skipping my first match and I threw a near perfect stone to advance us to the semis in a Bonspiel this spring

My baseball team came 2nd in the state and I pitched a one hitter and went 2-3, 3 RBI to get us to the finals

Hahaha, yeah I know. You played really well outside of that one play IIRC. And yeah, Trinity sucks now, and has ever since me and my boys left. Like all but 3 or 4 good players on that team I won it all with graduated with me and then they went 1-5 the year after and I'm pretty sure they suck again now. Shame too, lots of young talent at the school but they're all really stupid, don't wanna go to practice every day even though practices were ridiculously easy, seriously all the running we did was a lap around the track before the game. And even then, we cut corners past the far goal post and walked starting at midfield.

Ahh, nostalgia. Good luck this year btw. And I guess I'll stick around till RDT is deleted.

I was at Jerry Rice's last home game in SF. Notable moments:

-Terrell Owens caught 20 passes
-Chicago Bears never crossed midfield. ******* hilarious.

In the Championship game for football in grade 10, my team was down 2 TD's heading into the 4th quarter and we were playing our biggest rivals who were undefeated and had beat us earlier in the year. We came back and tied it up and sent it to OT. It was Texas shootout and we got the ball first. We scored on the first play. Our kicking was inconsistent so we went for two and got it to go up 8. When they got the ball, they scored on the first play and they had to go for two to tie it up. They ran a pitch to the left to their RB (who is playing for Wyoming next year) and we stopped him like 6 inches short of the goal line to win the Championship.

Also sports moments I remember watching.

Aaron Boone's HR in the bottom of the 10th in Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS. I'm not even really much of a baseball fan but that's one of the most memorable plays I've ever seen.

Also who could forget this. I went nuts when this happened.

Best sports moment I've witnessed in person is the Jaguars running up 375 yards on the Colts at home.

In retrospect that was a bad thing, because the Jaguars lost three straight after that and the Colts went on to win the Superbowl. Meh.

I remember arguing with my brother about this, him and I'm sure every Buffalo fan screaming that it was a foward lateral.

because im english under the age of 16 we play 5 aside where you have your QB, C and then you can have what else you want. Last defensive game of the season i had 16 solo tackles 5 assists, 6 sacks and 3 FF.....that was pretty much the entire defenses statistics, fond memories before my footballing career took a downward spiral, been out for a year and could be out for 3 more because of injury :(

The greatest sports memories for me were the One yard short super bowl which the Rams won and the 06 world series when the Cards won.

Saddest memories were Super Bowl 36, I hate Adam Vinatieri I am glad u have a broken pelvis or whatever has u injured. Also the NFC Championship game Vikings against the Falcons. When the Rams suck, like this year and that year I secretly start cheering for the teams around me aka the Vikings and Packers, plus I really like Randy Moss and he makes me hate the Pats a little less, so when the Vikings lost that game I was sad.

Playing wise: I know this is really sad, but my biggest accomplishment playing is prolly from 5th grade where my career pitching line is 1 IP, 0 H, O R, O ER, 0 BB, 1 K, 0.00 ERA. Take that I have a perfect pitching line, granted one of the 2 ground outs was to right field and we got a really slow runner out at first and I am pretty sure my strikeout was a kid who is slightly mentally disabled, but hey don't judge.

I remember that. Mostly because I was at a bar & grill with friends who do not watch football or sports in general. That was very awkward.

That was the worse god d*mn moment. Not as bad as being up 3-0 and losing a baseball series but still bad

The greatest non Lion sports memories for me were the One yard short super bowl. I was in literal awe of the epic-ness of what I just saw. The MOST jaw dropping moment in all of sport period.

Greatest Lions moment is when Barry made Charles Woodson tear his own ACL that was awesome.

Playing wise: I guess it was that fumble recovery that I got in my last time playing HS football. I rarely get to see the field so it was a particularly happy moment for me and my team mates.

I'm 22, so I was born and bread in the world of Brett Favre since my entire Wisconsin family bleeds Green and Gold. The Packers played the New England Patriots in the 1st preseason game in 1996. Which was also the same year they beat the Patriots a couple months later in the Superbowl.

Anyways, after the game I was lucky enough to go into the locker room. With my kids XL (chubby child) Brett Favre jersey and Packer hat, I was able to get autographs from Reggie White, Desmond Howard, Robert Brooks, and THE Brett Favre.

Favre handed me back the newly signed jersey and said, "that #4 is pretty good eh kid?"

I've loved him ever since, and when he came to Lambeau and obliterated my emotions, feelings, and hope as a Packer fan...I thought, how is it possible I can love and hate someone so much at the same time. Haha, best moment of my sports life was back then in that locker room in 2nd grade.

I hit for the cycle in little league one year, it was machine pitch and I was like 7 and it probably wasn't actually a homer, I'm sure the infielders just dinked it around like a bunch of idiots, but my game ball that I got said HR, 3B, 2B, 1B, and the triple was totally legit, so wooo me.
