Arthur Jones= Great pick for the Jets. We need D-line help badly and Jones can come in and make an impact right away.

overall, solid effort. for pitt, i'd rather go with someone like Jason Fox over Ciron black. i think Ciron black is atrocious.

I can't really see Cleveland taking a chance on Bradford at this point due to his shoulder injury...they can't afford another miss at the QB position. I think the Brownies could end up swapping picks with Tampa in order to draft Locker, while Tampa can still pick one of Suh or McCoy in the 5 spot. Good job though.
Also, as nice as Mays would be in Seattle, I think that they really have to address OT. Williams could be the pick there imo.
Love the Lions pick.

Prefer Hughes to Graham, but either would be nice. Don't think we'll draft them though.

I can't see three QBs going in the top 10. Personally I don't think that this QB class is good enough to see three top 10 QBs. Specially with Bradford's durability issues.
But as far as the Leos go it just makes sense.

The steelers oline is really playing suprisingly well....i think we will go BPA and saftey and RB are good candidates

I approve of the Jaguars pick and would like to subscribe to your newsletter. Sergio Kindle and Arthur Jones would both be good there too.

Seattle
I wouldnt mind Mays (local product) but i wouldnt take a running back with their second #1. Give me Jason Fox there.
Overall pretty nice but i'd drop Bradford and Dunlap from round 1 and add Jerry Hughes and Kris Odowd.

Absolutely awesome picks for the Saints and 49ers.
All 3 picks address the teams needs and areas of improvement in regards to depth.

A lot of the picks seem to make sense just looking through it. I agree that I'm not sure 3 QB's will land in the top 10, no less the top 5. It's a possibility but I think one of the guys (probably Bradford with the injury concerns and everything else he'll get picked apart on) slips more into the mid-late first. McCoy is an awesome pick for the Lions at 6, they'd be really fortunate to land him there IMO, that stuck out to me.
As for the teams I follow, definitely approve of Jones to the Jets, no problem there. Don't think the Bengals take Gresham, they'll probably give Coffman a bit more time and with some guys coming back from injury next year (Kelly and Utecht) they won't look as awful at the position as they do now. Plus they haven't been much of a team to draft TE's early in the past. I'd guess they'll look for a third linebacker to pair with Rivers and Rey Rey or a safety there if they can find one. Best wouldn't be an awful pick either, but those are the positions I think should get the most attention from the Bengals.

I agree with the Bengals thing, but I read somewhere they were trying to swing some trades for a TE (Bennett maybe?) so I figured they really want to upgrade that TE position. But I understand where you're coming from.
As for the Raiders pick, yeah I'd rather go Bulaga or Hardy too BUT would Al Davis?
And for the QB thing, I think you guys are right. I may be underestimating how much Bradford's stock is falling. It's just the Browns desperately need a QB. But that may be too much of a reach.
The more I think of it the more I think the Steelers won't go OLine....since I know they're playing much better this year and Black's stock isn't as high as my mock makes it seem. I just didn't see any safeties or NT's available there, and I don't think RB is a real possibility. But who knows at this point, it could be.
Seattle....I gave them Mays because their secondary sucks. And there is no QB or LT worth it there. Trent Williams really profiles as a RT IMO.
Thanks for the comments everyone, keep it coming.

Pick #3 - Tennessee Titans - Jake Locker
At this point in time, you can't make that pick yet. VY was not been given an honest shot at the starting gig, and has yet to really lose the position. Also Bud Adams loves VY, and VY has come out and stated that he will restructure his deal following this season if the Titans ask him to. He is going to stay past this year, so having that much money tied up to the QB position is ill advised. At this point in time, it has to be a pick on the defensive side of the ball. Our line can use help (Gerald McCoy) and our secondary could use some help(Eric Berry transitions to corner). At that point it enters BPA and need pick and feeling who has the greater potential and least bust possibility.

I think the Titans will be switching to Young any game now. If he fails, no more chances. If he shows potential then they'll look in another direction. I'm assuming he won't do well.

If Kindle is there with our pick, I would take him over Ciron Black.

I agree with your take on the Bengals. They were trying to trade a 1st or 2nd rounder for Bennett so they obviously see it as a big need.
Reggie Kelly will be 33 and coming off a knee injury.
Ben Utecht is probably going to retire due to his concussion issues.
And Coffman can't beat out a street free agent for playing time and is starting to look like he might be a bust.

That's a good point, and it was Bennett. To play devils advocate, there are really issues with the position this year that could get better once people get healthy as I said. If they were 2-5 this year and trying to deal for a TE that's one thing, but I wonder if they viewed Bennett as a guy to get them over the top this year as well as a long-term piece, and maybe they'll feel alright about the position once people are healthy come April. In other words, perhaps he was more a guy they were trying to get for a playoff push this year. You make a good point though.

d. williams is a very good pick for the ravens but i would slightly prefer a. benn or j. gresham.

Overall, pretty good. of course, I'd change up a few things, but it's pretty good. Ok Vikings pick. QB is our top need, and I'd probably reach on a guy like Tony Pike, but Morgan is a beast, and DE is a need, and could be even bigger if Edwards leaves in FA.

Bryant is a nice pick, I would be happy with either him or Terrence Cody there.

Unless Michael Boley suffers a career ending injury between now and the draft that pick makes no sense for the gmen given the drafting of Sintim and signing of Boley. We're set at OLB and have three good young Mikes to replace AP, DT or SS is the way to go for the giants.
I'd appreciate it very much if Dunlap stopped getting any top 20 consideration, let alone top 10.
