I really think this kid is a great prospect. He has the same type of Strong and Stout frame that Vince Wilfork does. He is 6'2" 330, and with more and more teams looking for 3-4 NT's he fits the bill. Where do u guys think this kid will be drafted?

He has looked really good this year along with the rest of our DL, but unfortunately not much else has been clicking. Powe will be a junior next year if I'm not mistaken, he is strong and very explosive. Definitely has NFL potential, but intelligence will be an issue.

Do u think that he has bad enough intelegence that he just couldn't understand an NFL playbook, or just that he isn't the smartest guy? And do you think that he could be a guy who is alot like Vince Wilfork at the 3-4 NT spot?

He has the talent to be a top 3-4 NT and is athletic enough to play in a 4-3 as well, he is a pretty freakish talent. He has been facing double teams all year and still has had a monster season. He probably would take a little longer to absorb an NFL playbook than an average player, but he could do it. He has a learning disability and was supposedly illiterate late in his high school years. I don't know the whole story when it comes to that, but I can vouch that he definitely is not intelligent. He is a great guy and one hell of a football player, but intelligence will be a concern.

Thats fine. I'm hoping SD will pick him up and let him learn under one of the greatest 3-4 NT's of all time in Jamal. That might help him pick up the playbook a little faster too.

He's 23 and the best player on the DL behind healthy Hardy...I kinda hope he comes out. He'd be the #2 3-4 NT in the draft and has a legit shot at beating Cody out for #1.

How likely is it that this kid comes out? Cuz i really am wanting the chargers to pick him up.

It is highly highly highly unlikely he comes out. Out of HS he had offers from across the country and he always wanted to play for the Rebs, and when other schools backed off he still wanted to play here and Ole Miss kept giving him chances. That would be a slap in the face of epic proportions to Ole Miss if he left early, and anyone associated with the school would agree. Plus he is still raw, although immensely talented. Could he come out? Yes. It would be a very bad decision though and I think he respects the opportiunities Ole Miss gave him enough to stick around through his senior year.

Nice. So he's a big prospect next year, even if he is 24.
I like when players do that. School's cool.
