is this the best thing to happen at a sporting event that had nothing to do with the sport being played? if not then post video of what you think is the best.

I agree.

To not only be on the field but involved in a play is so win.

I would also rank Randy Johnson killing that bird with a pitch higher I mean what are the odds?

Edit: You beat me to it but still I stand by what I said...:)

For being people that are supposed to be loving towards all creatures you really are expressing a lot of hate towards one."

Dude owned them nicely played I mentally gave him plus rep.

The Unit vs the Pigeon was a far more explosive story

CashmoneyDrew

The whole situation reminded me of the episode of the Office where there's a bat in the office.

Creed saying, "Animals don't feel pain."
Dwight catching it with a trash bag that he threw over Angela.

Funny stuff.

Is it really trolling when you're trolling peta? I think of it more is protecting the human race from peta.

No flying rodents were harmed in the making of this video.

Texas is full of bats, they're the mascot for the Austin hockey team. They get into bldgs all the time & have to be removed, not exactly headline news.

A 6'6", 210 pound man never looked so small until I read this!
What a tool. He may have done it reflexively without thinking—hopefully next time his brain will be faster than his hands. He has set a really bad example for younger fans, if he is a real 'man' he will apoligise for this stupid act.Yeah, what they said!

Manu is a worthless piece of ****.

Is it against the rules to have an I hate Peta thread? I mean this is the third thread that has turned into essentially that and personally I would be all for it.

Who here hates PETA?
I think that anyone who is a real human supports everything that they stand for.

Well, Manu could have been a little less rude to the bat, but it wasn't totally over the top either, it's not like he grabbed it and slammed it to the ground to then step on it and eat it. Peta's overreacting, who does it surprise.

I wonder what Peta would have done to Ozzy after he bit the head off a bat. Then I wonder what Ozzy would have done to Peta.

The pigeon was cooler but how that guy just slapped the bat out of the air was pretty tight.

I was tempted to go troll PETA but then I realised doing that would mean I was defending Manu Ginobili.... and I don't think I can bring myself to do that.

ya realize it doesn't REALLY stand for "People Eating Tasty Animals", right?

But, seriously, PETA takes it too far. Rallying against animal cruelty is admirable, but, the arrogant, intrusive way they go about it is wrong. They have no line between an animal abuser, and a meat eater.

A guy killing dogs for the sake of killing dogs is one thing...but, a guy eliminating the threat of a potentially rabid animal in a crowded building is NOTHING to get upset about.

besides, veal kicks ass, and leather looks sexy.

Venison is deer. Veal is baby cow. They keep them tied down to the ground so their muscles stay nice and tender and don't harden up from use.

Both are ******* delicious.

Hells yeah it is. Wild boars are also delicious and the best part is that Texas sees them as "pest animals" so you can kill as many as you want.

That bat is dead.

D-E-A-D, killed it dead.

I guess it could've just been stunned, but I've never looked at a bat and said, "Now that looks like an animal that could take a hit!"
