What would your team look like if you could snatch a player from each of your divisional opponents?

Atlanta

Help Win Now

Julius Peppers
Sedrick Ellis
Aquib Talib

Talib is still young, but at least he has ball skills. It is odd to take a Saints' defender, but Ellis is really great and we need a big time DT to rotate with Babineaux/Jerry. Then add Julius Peppers to our DE rotation and we would have an elite defense.

Elvis Dumervil or Ryan Clady (I can't make up my mind both are huge needs.)

Nnamdi Asomugha (Not a huge need but Aso and Flowers starting with Carr playing nickle would be sick.)

Antonio Gates (HUGE NEED.)

Chiefs:

Zach Miller / TE / Raiders - He's a young TE who can get open and make plays downfield. He'd make us a lot more versatile in the passing game. Cassel needs all the weapons he can get.

Ryan Clady / T / Broncos - Very good LT who can come in and allow us to move Albert to either G or RT. Instantly upgrades our offensive line.

Antoine Cason / CB / Chargers - Young CB who could team up with Brandon Flowers to form a really dangerous CB tandem.

All are young who can come in right away and start.

For the Baltimore Ravens

Cincinnati Bengals - Jonathan Joesph - We need more talent at corner. Leon Hall could be another option.

Cleveland Browns - Joshua Cribbs - Harbaugh loves special team studs and Cribbs is one of the best. He could also give our offense another wrinkle, plus, everyone else is Cleveland sucks. (except for S.Rogers and J.Thomas)

Pittsburgh Steelers - Troy Polumalu - Him and Ed Reed in the same backfield is out of this world. Ed would cover anything deep and Troy would patrol the middle. Absolutely unfair.

I'll do something slightly different for the Titans, since there are a lot of great players in the AFC South to choose from.

Colts - Peyton Manning, QB
Texans - Owen Daniels, TE
Jaguars - Rashean Mathis, CB

I went with Peyton Manning because he's the best player in the AFCS (And NFL, IMO). He alone makes the WR's better, and opens up lanes for Chris Johnson. Plus, Manning at QB for the Tennessee Titans is every Tennessee Vols fan's wet dream. Purrrrrr...

I went Owen Daniels over guys like Andre Johnson and Mario Williams because I feel OD would add a dimension that they wouldn't - He could be Peyton's new Dallas Clark. Kenny Britt's upside at WR lessens the need for AJ, and I think an upgraded secondary with Rashean Mathis would help the current pass-rush so that the DEF could get by without a talent like Super Mario. Plus, I don't think the Titans have a guy on the roster that could be that go to receiver at TE.

MJD is the best player on the Jags, but with CJ in Tennessee, taking somebody like Mathis is a luxury that can be affored. It was hard not to go with Big John here, but Jason Jones is a star in the making so I went with Mathis who would fill a need at #2 CB since Nick Harper is a FA and sucks ass.

Detroit:
If age is a factor

Vikings: DE Jared Allen. Pass rushers are so hard to find
Packers: WR Greg Jennings. Woodson is a little older than I prefer, Calvin/Jennings combo is guranteed winner with Stafford
Bears: DT Tommie Harris. We need a DT, Harris isn't dominant like he once was but is still good.

or
Vikings: Favre
Packers:Rodgers
Bears: Culter

Then trade them all out of division for a gagillion 1st round picks. Browns or Rams can have Rodgers,Skins can have Cutler and I would force Favre to retire so everyone would just **** about him. Starting QBs of Hannie,Flynn and Tavaris Jackson. Sounds good

NYG

Eagles: Quintin Mikell - Fills our need at SS ensuring CC Brown never sees the field and will tandem with Michael Johnson until Kenny P is back in the offseason. Bunkley, maclin or Jamal Jackson/Shawn Andrews would be other good options.
Redskins: Albert Haynesworth - one man solution to our run D woes, would also make our elite DEs even better giving us a beyond dominant front 4. Laron Landry would be a good long term fit as would Chris Horton, but Fat Albert is the easy pick here.
Dallas: Jason Witten - Wade is tempting but Witten would be huge for our offenses consistency. He fills in the role of number one option and will help us counter blitz heavy defenses. Ware is tempting but we're deep at DE and I think Witten makes more of an impact than Ware would playing LB in a 4-3.

Would fix our D and give us a lead receiver without disrupting our young WR's development.

DAL: DeMarcus Ware - The eagles like big hybrid guys at the SLB position and he could also line up at DE and move Justin Tuck into the middle to form one of the best pass-rushing DLs in the league on 3rd downs.
WAS: Carlos Rogers - Sheldon Brown won't be around forever.

Giants- Justin Tuck- The Eagles need a stud LE and Tuck fits that perfectly

Cowboys- Leonard Davis- Ever since Shawn Andrews has been injured the Eagles have been very mediocre at the RG spot with their rotation of Stacy Andrews, Max Jean-Giles and Nick Cole. Davis would finally open up the holes on the right side of the line that have been missing since Shawn Andrews went all emo.

Redskins- Brian Orakpo- The Eagles love hybrid SLBs so Orakpo is perfect, he has all the athleticism you could ever want from a SLB, he has the size and the strength and he has a ton of raw talent. He would also be a great pass rusher at SLB who could move down to DE on third downs when Tuck moves inside.

Bengals:

Cleveland - Joshua Cribbs. Easy choice, hes' arguably their best player playing in one of our weakest positions at returner.

Baltimore - Ray Rice. I'd make Benson the main back, splitting time with both the Rutger's backs in Rice and Leonard. Would probably be the best 3 headed monster to ever be created.

Pittsburgh - Troy Polamalu. Our safeties are pretty average right now. I like Crocker for a lot of different reasons, but there is no safety on our roster that is even close to Polamalu's ability, and he would instantly make our good defense great (or close to it).

For the Pats

Miami-Ronnie Brown. I'd take Ronnie just over Jake Long, Vollmer looks good but either could play RT. We need to add an impact player on offense and who better than Ronnie, the guy is a best and would give us a dynamic back. He can do it all, he would be a stud here. We need a pass rusher but Brown is too good to pass up, it really comes down to him and Long (I really like Donald Thomas too).

Jets-Darelle Revis. We have some young corners but Revis would be too good to pass up, he'd give us a shutdown corner. I was looking towards the pass rush but Revis has much more value than any of there pass rushers. I though about Manglod, Leon Washington, Kerry Rhodes, and even Braylon/Keller.

Bills-Aaron Schoebel I guess, we need a pass rush. I would say he isn't a great fit but he is probably the best pass rusher in the division. Don't really know who else to take from the Bills; Puz and Whitner crossed my mind too. Stroud maybe if he could play end.

There is some talent in the AFC East, but not really too many players who would be sure thing additions for our team at our big weaknesses (linebacker). The Colts, Chargers, and Steelers are all big rivals and if I could pick a player from one of those teams it would be easier since they have some premier pass rushing talent.

My thinking was I could still get an all pro LT in Gaither from the Ravens and DRAMATICALLY upgrade the return game with Cribbs. Plus I like our defensive tackles and think Cribbs would be a bigger upgrade than Rogers.

Seriously this o-line would be huge:
LT - Jared Gaither 6'9 350
LG - Andrew Whitworth 6'7 335
C - Kyle Cook 6'3 310
RG - Bobbie Williams 6'4 345
RT - Andre Smith 6'4 340

Our offensive line is beastly, Joe Thomas may be better than anyone or everyone our line (I'm not saying he is or isn't, just don't want to debate it) but it's like if you drive Porsche and live in a box, sure a Ferrari would be nice, but a house would probably be a higher priority. As far as Shaun Rodgers goes, that was just an over sight. But I actually like our potential starting DT's in Peko and Sims.

I was very tempted to take either Rodges or Ngata, but I couldnt pass on having the two best safties in the league on one team and the Steelers desperately need a return man that can make a difference. Bengals was the toughest, don't need anyone from their offence and the front 7 just doesn't fit. I went with Joseph cause Willie *** has been a let down at corner.

For the Packers....

Lions - Calvin Johnson. Would be awesome on our offense.
Vikings - Adrian Peterson. Best RB in the NFL.
Bears - Charles Tillman. Still underrated and an all around good player.

Non-obvious picks...

Lions - Cliff Avril. I think he'd be a good pass rusher in the 3-4.
Vikings - Chad Greenway. Another underrated guy who could probably play inside and outside LB in the 3-4.
Bears - Jarron Gilbert. potentially a good 3-4 DE.

Cool concept...

I would take the following -

Green Bay - Aaron Rodgers - Easy pick, he is the best QB in the division. Honorable mention to Kampman.

Chicago - Lance Briggs - Actually had a hard time on this. A healthy Tommie Harris would make it easy, but Briggs is their best player you can count on and offers an upgrade.

Detroit - Calvin Johnson - Pretty easy isnt it....

Those are good. I def. agree with the Lions and Packers, no doubt about those two, but the Bears one is a bit tricky. I like Leber and while he isn't an All-Pro or Pro-Bowl player, he's solid. I'd take a S if they had a very good one, but they don't, and we wouldn't really need anything on offense, especially after taking Rodgers and Calvin, so I'd probably take Briggs over Harris, who is an UT like K Will. Our front 7 would be so studly, and our offense with AP, Rodgers, CJ, Harvin, Rice, Berrian, and our o-line would be sick.

Bengals

Stillers- Polamalu. Pretty easy choice, Safety is probably our weakest position right now and hes one of the best in the game. Plus I think he would do wonders with Chinedum Ndukwe, who hasn't been playing at the level he's capable of this season.

Browns- Shaun Rogers. Wish we coulda got him in the first place. Rogers and Peko would form a beastly duo inside at DT. This would allow Maualuga and Rivers to run free and make plays as well.

Ravens- Ray Rice. Since we already got Polamalu I'm gonna skip out on Reed even though he's probably the best defensive player in football. Rice could be an amazing complement to Cedric Benson.

Bengals

Browns - Joe Thomas could push Whitworth back to LG and with Andre Smith at RT, we could have one of the best lines in football.

Ravens - Ed Reed. No explanation necessary. He's good.

Steelers- The **** if I want any Steelers. Keep em.

Redskins - Laron Landry - He can replace Hamlin thank you very much, that gives us a very strong secondary who can cover everyone

Eagles - DeSean Jackson - Very easy choice, him and Austin opposite eachother, who are both extremely great at big plays when you look at their YPC.

Giants - Justin Tuck - Wanted to go Webster, but I forgot Tuck has that type of versatility that fits great in a 3-4 and is a much bigger upgrade over Spears. Our Corners are good enough, and would get even better with a dominant rush.

Josh Cribbs? Ew.

For the Steelers, I'd take:

Ravens - Ed Reed

Bengals - Keith Rivers

Browns - Joe Thomas

Meh. I don't see what Rivers brings that Timmons doesn't. Granted we need a replacement but I don't think Rivers is the Guy.

I love Reed's ability and everything, but It all starts in the Trenches. Give me Haloti Ngata All day.

Joe Thomas? He gave up more Sacks than Starks last year.

Ravens: Ryan Clark is playing exceptional football for us, He's not Reed in Pass coverage, but he's adequate and better than Reed in Run Support. I take Haloti Ngata. He can give us the tools to play 3-4 or 4-3, he has the athleticism to drop in short zones, and could play NT and SDE in our scheme.

Browns: Alex Mack, C. Has the makings of the Great Center and is arguably the only weak point on our OL right now. Shipley and Legursky don't inspire me and Mack could easily bolster and help open holes in the middle.

Bengals: Leon Hall, CB. Ike Taylor is a staple of the defense but the group on the other side is failing hardcore. Keiwan Ratliff is god awful, Keenan Lewis hasn't suited up, DeShea Townsend is old, Joe Burnett is a Nickel at best.

The World Champions Pittsburgh Steelers

this may sound odd but the team that would be the hardest for me to pick a player from would be the Ravens, you would think it would be Reed but Ryan Clark is the hardest hitting safety in the NFL and he is a lot better in run support then Reed so if we have Clark then i would pass on Reed even though it would be nice to have the 2 best payers at their position in the world........so

Ravens - Ngata would help on a D-line that is getting older, i also like Gather. he would help sure up our O-line but i can get O-line help from another team.

Browns - Alex Mack i wanted him in the draft really bad and i think he would help our O-line a lot, i also like Joe Thomas but the way Starks is playing i think we will be ok there

Bengals - Rey Maluagla - i wanted him in the draft so bad. in Pittsburgh you can never have enough good LBers. that is what Pittsburgh is known for. he could replace Farrior and with him and Timmons in the Middle everyone would be to scared to come across the middle with these two big hitters roaming that area.

Ravens:

Bengals - I would probably take Maualuga, although Joseph or Hall would be enticing. A big physical ILB is something we need to continue playing the 3-4, although Ellerbe may have stepped into that role. Rey would just be a beast though.

Browns - Since I didn't go with one of Cincinnati's corners, I'll take Eric Wright here. He would probably be the most physical corner on our roster (not counting Frank Walker, but he's so bad at coverage it doesn't matter how physical he is) and a nice compliment to Foxworth on the outside.

Steelers -

Steelers- The **** if I want any Steelers. Keep em. This.

Dolphins:

Kendall Langford - Set to be a really nice starting 3-4 DE.

Randy Starks - Fan when he was at Maryland, then in Tenn., and he looks like he's grown up as a player.

Vontae Davis - We're good against the pass, but a guy across from Revis would be nice.

Pats:

Vince Wilfork - We needed him back in '04. We took a LB (Vilma) who turned out to be a pretty good player. Jenkins is awesome, but Wilfork is younger and healthier.

Moss - Makes their offense.

Merriweather - Rather have him than Leonhard.

Bills:

Brad Butler - Put him at LG instead of Faneca. Yes, I know he's not playing there this year.

Lee Evans - Word.

Terrence McGee - Take him over Davis. McKlevin too.

If the Raiders could really do this, and Al Davis weren't around to **** it up...they'd be a really, really good team.

Saints - Drew Brees. A clutch QB is priceless.

Panthers - Julius Peppers. Pass rush?

Falcons - Roddy White. Someone other than K2 needs to catch a ball.

Are you trying to say Starks is better than Joe Thomas?

For the New England Patriots;

Darrelle Revis(NYJ)-Pairing Revis and Butler for the next 8-10 years would be awesome

Ronnie Brown(Miami)-Would give a genuine running threat against predominantly 7 man fronts. Would complete the offense.

Lee Evans(Buffalo)-Just being greedy offensively putting Evans across from Moss with Welker in the slot.

The AFC East doesn't have many top end pass rushers which is a big need so I pretty much went BPA
