It could happen. They desperately need offense and I can't see them taking another Golden Domer. Spiller is a more complete prospect than Reggie Bush was coming out and he went #2.

Pick: 1 Cleveland Browns: C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson
Pick: 2 St. Louis Rams: Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame
Pick: 3 Detroit Lions: Russell Okung, LT, Oklahoma State
Pick: 4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska
Pick: 5 Kansas City Chiefs: Eric Berry, S, Tennessee
Pick: 6 Oakland Raiders: Everson Griffen, DE, USC
Pick: 7 Seattle Seahawks: Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma
Pick: 8 Washington Redskins: Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers
Pick: 9 Buffalo Bills: Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma
Pick: 10 Tennessee Titans: Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama
Pick: 11 San Francisco 49ers: Brandon Graham, LB, Michigan
Pick: 12 Denver Broncos: Taylor Mays, S, USC
Pick: 13 New York Jets: Allen Bailey, DL, Miami Fl.
Pick: 14 Miami Dolphins: Damian Williams, WR, USC
Pick: 15 San Francisco 49ers: Joe Haden, CB, Florida
Pick: 16 Green Bay Packers: Ryan Matthews, RB, Fresno State
Pick: 17 Jacksonville Jaguars: Marvin Austin, DT, North Carolina
Pick: 18 Philadelphia Eagles: Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech
Pick: 19 Atlanta Falcons: Sean Weatherspoon, LB, Missouri
Pick: 20 Houston Texans: Earl Thomas, S, Texas
Pick: 21 New York Giants: Brandon Spikes, LB, Florida
Pick: 22 Baltimore Ravens: Jordan Shipley, WR, Texas
Pick: 23 Arizona Cardinals: Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma
Pick: 24 San Diego Chargers: Golden Tate, WR, Notre Dame
Pick: 25 Pittsburgh Steelers: Jared Odrick, DL, Penn State
Pick: 26 Dallas Cowboys: Bryan Buluga, OT, Iowa
Pick: 27 Seattle Seahawks: Charles Brown, OT, USC
Pick: 28 New England Patriots: Jerry Hughes, LB, TCU
Pick: 29 Cincinnati Bengals: Greg Romeus, DE, Pittsburgh
Pick: 30 Minnesota Vikings: Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma
Pick: 31 New Orleans Saints: Sergio Kindle, LB, Texas
Pick: 32 Indianapolis Colts: Dan Williams, DT, Tennessee

Notes:
-Locker, Best don't come out.
-Dunlap falls due to underwhelming film (a la Michael Johnson) to the early second round.
-Shipley is a top WR. Watch games. Speed, hands, route-running, pro-ready. If he doesn't go in round one he'll be selected before pick 40.
-Greg Hardy falls due to medical red flags.
-LaFell, Dwyer, D. Thomas, Cody, Alualu all come off the board in early-mid round two.
-Next RB off the board after Dwyer is Anthony Dixon, followed by Gerhart.
-Sean Canfield, QB, Oregon State goes to Minnesota in round two as the third QB off the board.

Cleveland would go after Suh or Berry before going after Spiller. He definitely isn't worth the 1st overall pick, although he is a first rounder. They would be passing on five or six players that have much more value than Spiller at #1.

Jordan Shipley isn't a top receiver...I think your overrating his route running abilities. He isn't asked to run too many advanced ones and is mostly catching fly routes or sink screens.

Pick: 9 Buffalo Bills: Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma

This is the only player that makes sense other than a tackle or quarterback. I'd take it, and be happy despite the offense still being horrible...

I'm going with an absolutely not on Ryan Matthews. Not liking the pick at all. The only RB worth our 1st is Spiller but other than that we have to go with a tackle.

Dan Williams is an good pick for the Colts. Damn the DT class could be deep this year. But at the same time OL, LB, and S are all needs moreso than DT. At this point I don't know if Williams would be that strong of a BPA at that point vs. BPA+need.

Good KC pick.

Why would the Colts pass up on a player like DT Arthur Jones over DT Dan Williams?

I like both DT Arthur Jones and OG Mike Iupati way before the Dan Williams pick.

Jerry Hughes to the Pats is nice.

Allen Bailey would be my favorite pick for the Jets so obviously I like it. Good job.

Pick: 30 Minnesota Vikings: Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma

Notes:
-Greg Hardy falls due to medical red flags.
-Sean Canfield, QB, Oregon State goes to Minnesota in round two as the third QB off the board.

Bad Vikings pick. TE is not a need. Shiancoe does everything asked of him, and while he isn't an elite TE, he is very good. If Ray Edwards leaves in FA, I'd go with Hardy. The Vikings haven't been afraid to take guys with injury concerns such as Harvin and AD, and I don't think Hardy would scare them off. If Edwards does stay, then DE isn't a need, and we'd probably just go bpa, with someone like Mt. Cody or maybe an OLB like Travis Lewis if you have him coming out, or a S like N. Allen, or R. Jones/M. Burnett if you have them coming out.

I don't know about Canfield as a 2nd rounder. He has looked good the past few weeks, but where was he before this, if he was actually a legit NFL QB, I think he'd have at least been on most people's radars, but he wasn't, which scares me.

There is 0% chance Spiller goes #1 overall, I'm sure you know that already and it makes your mock more interesting, but it's still very unrealistic, for a number of reasons.

At least you got the right position with Dallas, I'd be happy with any lineman almost.

At this point in the draft process in 2005 (well then it was the year 2004), there was 0% chance Alex Smith would go #1 overall.

That's what Gresham is.

you got me there. I meant at a position of at least a little bit of need.

Would definitely love to have Baluga on my team if he's available. I get so frustrated with Flozell "False Start" Adams.
