I like to leave it on while I fall asleep, so I just do sleep mode for 60 minutes.

When I finally decide to hit the sack, the TV is off. If I do fall asleep on the couch and the TV is on, it's no big deal though.

Dude do not get a coffin to sleep in.

I'm pretty random with it. Sometimes I just fall asleep while watching tv in my bed, but other times I just cut it off. Sometimes when I cut it off before going to sleep, I'll wake up in the morning with it on. I just assume that I turned it on in my sleep because I'm a sleep walker. There's no rhyme or reason to it.

Absolutely not. I want complete darkness when I fall asleep. Flickering images bother the **** out of me when I'm trying to sleep.

Nothing beats falling asleep to sportscentre. Usually just have sleep on for 60 then eventually fall asleep to SC, some how I remember everything.

I have to fall asleep to the TV every night or I typically wont go to bed. I have developed a keen ability to turn the TV off right before I fall asleep. I always wake up with the remote under the sheet somewhere haha.

These pretty much sum it up for me as well. I can fall asleep with it on but usually wake up because of it.

I voted yes on accident. I sleep with a radio playing very quietly.

I always fall asleep in front of the TV. Monday Night Football always gets me. When I go to bed I don't leave the TV on but if I'm just laying on the couch, I often doze off.

most TV's have timers now. Especially plasma's because they have burn in issues.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.

There's no option for me. :(

No. When I do accidentally, I end up waking up in the middle of the night and since I have no clicker, I have to get up and turn it off, which sucks because falling back asleep gets way harder. I also can't listen to music because I end up following the lyrics way too hard and can't fall asleep. I really can't do anything while listening to music because of that.

I fall asleep on the couch once I've hit my 3rd or so repeat of NHL On The Fly about 3 times a week. But I don't purposely sleep with it on, no.

I used to do it all the time when I had a TV in my bedroom but now I just leave the radio on but not too loud obviously.

Sometimes i do, but preferably i turn everything off. Sometimes the TV will wake me up in the middle of the night, and if i can't fall back asleep, i'm screwed. I'll be up all night and morning.

I'm a really deep sleeper as long as I can get comfortable all the noise in the world really doesn't bother me.

I always sleep with the TV on while I'm by myself. Whenever I'm not nobody else sleeps with it on. I just can't sleep in complete silence, my ears start to ring.

I used to love to fall asleep to the tv, but now I don't have one in the bedroom anymore. :(

I am the opposite of many of the posters on the first page. I need white noise to fall asleep. I can not fall asleep if it is dead quiet. I have 2 fans on, the window open (especially in the winter) & sometimes i even need my wife snoring.

That sucks, I answer texts and my phone when asleep, but I don't actually get out of bed and walk around.

I sleep with it on every night. I'm not sure exactly why...whenever I try to sleep in the dark/silence I cant turn my brain off. It's kind of weird.

I remember when I was younger, if the power would go out or my parents would turn the tv off while I was sleeping...I'd wake up a few minutes after that.

I'm sure I'll have to get over this, if I ever get married. haha.

I can understand that, I struggle with falling asleep myself when it comes to turning my brain off, but tv just interferes without even more.

I will sometimes. I have ADD and my mind races at night, so having the TV or radio on to kind've give me something to distract me from doing that can be soothing. It can't be too loud though, and it has to be something I like. I'll also have strange dreams if I leave the TV on. Usually, I'll leave it on Adult Swim when King of the Hill, Family Guy, or Robot Chicken is playing. Then as the night turns to morning, the morning cartoons come on which are like Pokemon and Yugioh, so the dreams can get pretty truckin' crazy.

I don't sleep with the TV on but I also have a hard time sleeping with complete silence. During the summer the A/C is perfect but now I'm thinking about getting some kind of air purifier or something mainly for the white noise.

Only thing I "need" is a loud fan or air conditioner on in the middle of the night. Even if it's in the dead of winter.

I have a single bedroom apartment and live on my own right now, so I feel like I need to fall asleep with something else going on. It wastes electricity, but I set the sleep timer so that problem is solved.

Just don't fall asleep to murder myster shows or horror films...They invade your dreams. I agree Sportcenter, or Scrubs/The Office is where it's at.

For some reason I have to sleep with the TV on, but I know alot of people who have to have it completely dark. Thing is, I just need something. Nights that I shut the TV off I HAVE to leave the radio on all night.

I'm a sleep mode person though as well, but that still doesn't prevent me from falling asleep with the xbox on netflix all damn night. Dead silence is hard for me to sleep to.

I think a lot of you are dependent on TV or you just like the noise. My ceiling fan is rather noisy, so I run that 24-7 for the white noise it creates.

FYI, playing Call of Duty before you go to bed is a BAD idea. Makes you tense as hell.

El Peefs?????

I thought it would be a bad idea because instead of going to bed, you would just play it for another 3 hours. Thats happened to me with Dragon Age a few times lately.

I can't sleep in dead silence. I need some sort of noise. Not the TV though, because I like the dark. However for a nap the golf channel is great.

Lol it really is though, golf is great to sleep too...Though I find myself sleeping to stuff like CSI, or whatever those shows are that come on TNT late at night, cold case, whatever.

I cant have TNT on and try to sleep because Law & Order will come on and I'll get sucked in.

The only time I fall asleep with my TV on is when I'm dead tired and decide to "rest my eyes" during commercials, even if it's a show I really want to watch. I'll wake up the next morning and be pretty pissed.

If I sleep in the living room, I fall asleep with it on and have the Sleep Timer set ( and also a fan ). In my room my computer is on and I stream Netflix and have the fan on ( at all times whenever I sleep anywhere ).

When you grow up in a home with as much chaos as mine you learn to sleep through a lot of noise and I'd much rather fall asleep to a TV or radio than my parents screaming at each other.

Sleep timer though, you can just set it to be on for like 30 minutes and it auto shuts off.

I need some sort of sound to stay asleep, I can fall asleep under almost any circumstances, but if I wake up to silence, I'll turn my radio on...
