This will go down along with McCardell and Chambers as an important Veteran addition to the Bolts. We need to address this day one in the draft, but Runyon may be a fit for this year and the next to groom our eventual successor.

Its too bad for Clary who has done well for himself as a 6th rounder...but he does not seem the long term answer.

If the Microfracture surgery holds up his HUGE 6'7" 330 frame, we may be dangerous come playoff time.

Runyan is a good pickup but will be leaving after this year to pursue a position in congress. Hardwick and Runyan should both be back in the lineup by the end of this week, which will hopefully give our running game a real power punch.

I still am in favor of drafting a RT with one of our first 2 picks if the value is there. Clary is okay but we can do a whole lot better to protect Rivers.

Politics will always be there, his first play was Sproles' TD on the screen!!! I am hoping he gets the playoff run bug and decides to play one more year and put off the politics. If he really plays well down the stretch and we win a Lombardi, it might convince him to stay, of course he may also ride off into the sunset.
