There's already a thread like this, and don't tell me you didn't see it, because you posted in it.

r.1=Reggie Nelson: He fills our biggest need right now and is a ballhawk whisch our secondary is desparate for...might need to trade up for him...but he might be there at 22.
r.2=Aundrae Allison: TO and Glenn are both over 32 and we need depth. Allison has good size, hands, speed (4.39), and had an excellent Senior Bowl.
r.3=Dan Buzin:3-4 olb with good speed and pass rush ability. he will provide depth and might step in to a starter role eventually.
r.4=Manuel Ramirez: Fills a need for depth on the o-line...a texas native and will most likely brought in for work outs as most texas area players are...big and strong and a solid pick up.

i clearly said no arguments in this thread...the other thread lost its original purpose from arguments...so no more talking just mocks :)

Ramirez won't fall to the 4th round, athough I would love it.
Anyway:
Round 1: Reggie Nelson, FS, Florida- Is a ball hawking safety in the mold of Ed Reed, not afraid to lay the lumber as well. Fills our ONLY need, not biggest.
Round 2: Tank Tyler, NT, N.C. State- Gives us a future dominant 3-4 NT, and can spell Fergy right away.
Round 3- Manuel Ramirez, OG, Texas Tech- Gives us good o-line depth, and if kosier or davus gets hurt, he can step right in, and if Davis moves to LT next year (hopefully not) because Adams leaves via FA, he can step right in. The next Larry Allen, maybe not as good, but close to it.
Round 4- Johnnie Lee Higgins- A solid all around WR, could be a good #2 in the NFL.

Would Tank Tyler be too much of a reach at #22? I'm not sure if he will be there in the 2nd round. Maybe we should trade away the #22 pick for a later first rounder and take Tyler then. We should be able to pick up a 3rd or 4th rounder. It's just an idea, I'm not 100% sold on doing that.

1. Reggie Nelson - not gonna be there at #22
2. Tank Tyler - not gonna be there at #53
3. Manuel Rameirez - not good value here, plus with the FA OL signed, we probably won't go OL until the 2nd day.
4. Johnnie Lee Higgins - good value, if he's still on the board.

1 of the 2 will be there. I posted a full analysis mock in the other mock thread, with some other changes, hopefully that will help.

assuming we sign ken hamlin for f safety. here are my selections for the cowboys. First 3 rounds
Round 1. Jarvis Moss. Defensive End that brings 4.7 speed to the pass rush. Plays both 4-3 and 3-4 defenses.
Round 2. Aaron Rouse. Safety/outside Linebacker. He runs 4.52 speed. He can play the safety position and outside linebacker position. The cowboys can covert him to outside linebacker because of his speed and aggresiveness.
Round 3. Eric Wright. Cornerback. He runs 4.36. He is a little raw but working with the vetern corners. this kid can be groomed.

Unlikely that Moss and Wright will be there at those spots. Especially Wright. I don't like Rouse in round 2 as a safety prospect considering other needs if we sign Hamlin. I hate him as a 3-4 OLB. He'll get tossed around like a little rag cloth.

What the heck does filling our ONLY need, but not our biggest need mean? That makes NO sense. NONE! We'll be lucky if he's there.
Tyler in round 2 means more luck.
Ramirez is a depth pick for a Guard. Round 3? I don't see it happening. OT is more likely than OG due to Flozell being in the last year of his contract. Please don't tell me you think Davis will be moved to LT or that McQuistan is the answer.
Higgins??? Meh.

Nelson, we'll be lucky.
Allison is a bit overrated, imo. I see value for him in the 3rd round. A #2 WR at best.
Bazuin would be a fair pick there.
Ramirez has value in Rnd 4 for some team, but I don't know if that's value for us.

Oh sorry, I didn't realize how much your mind changed in 10 days and didn't bother to look at the date posted.
