Amen brotha! I'm picking after the Vikings! I'm kind of stuck between two players though.. so at least this gives me a little time to decide.

Such a tough decision though!

Shouldn't the time be up? hour and a half time limit with clock starting at 12 ET. If so, as a Vikings fan, I'd suggest Morgan Burnett or Reshad Jones. A QB like Colt McCoy or Tony Pike could also be considered, but I know that vikes 29 isn't a big fan of either of them.

Haha, well if you don't leave a big board and make everyone wait for your pick (only for the clock to run out) then you can't really complain with what you get.

Also, Vidae told me he stepped out for a moment, but he should be back pretty soon to pick.

Yeah, and I wasn't home to research what he wanted, so he gets Colt. Could be worse, I could have given him Tebow.

I'm alright with Colt McCoy, I have been having problems with the network at my house. I just am a little disappointed cause I know JBoogie has my phone number. Could have texted me :/. Colt McCoy is who I would have picked at that point. That's exactly why I traded down. And McCoy > Tebow.

Ravens are done. We got Jermaine Gresham, Demaryius Thomas and Antonio Cromartie. Three very talented players. I think Gresham can be a special TE in the NFL. Cromartie fills a big need. Although he relies on his athleticism at times, he has is a extremely talented young CB who I'd take over any corner in this draft not named Joe Haden. DeMaryius is a beast. He is exactly what the offense needs. He's so physical. He's another big target for Flacco and even though he doesn't have elite timed speed, he attacks the ball and can stretch the field vertically. Gresham and Thomas will take the offense to the next level and Cromartie can provide a huge boost to the secondary.

I don't have anything in my sig about Colt McCoy, and never have. I never said I don't want Colt McCoy on the Vikings, I just simply don't think he's worth a first round pick. If we do get him, I'd rather it in the third than second, but I would be fine if we got him in the second. He fits our system very well and gives an added dimension with his legs not to mention his tremendous intangibles.

dont see how he can lay into the pick, we have tons of depth at all positions and you can never have too many gamebreakers PLUS he adds to the titans anemic return game....bringing playmaker to 2 of the 3 sides of the ball...hero pick :)

I totally agree about the return game, but a good returner could be had later. A lot of our depth will be thinning out after this offseason. Keith Bulluck, Stephen Tulloch, Kyle Vanden Bosch, Tony Brown, Jevon Kearse, Nick Harper, Rod Hood, LenDale White, Bo Scaife, Alge Crumpler, Kevin Mawae, and Eugene Amano are all FA's. Depending on the CBA, some could be RFA's (Tulloch, Brown, and White, I believe). We've got depth, but if all of them get moved up, then our depth is gone and we need to add more.

We just invested a 1st RD pick at WR in Kenny Britt, who is playing tremendously. We have Justin Gage who is a good #2, and Nate Washington who can stretch a DEF in the slot. Plus, Lavelle Hawkins is coming along as well, and Jared Cook is a WR/TE hybrid. How big of a need is WR?

I think most would look at the Titans losing all those players, and then giving up most of their picks for a position that may not be a significant need aside from returning abilities that could be had later, as a bad move.

Personally, I don't trust anyone but a Titans fan when talking about the Titans. They're just a finicky team, and at times they look like morons (Chris Henry), and at others they look like geniuses (Chris Johnson). The Titans didn't need a RB when they took CJ, but look at what he's done. If Bryant becomes an elite PR/KR and gives us the plays that PacMan gave us, and then gives us a great, young WR tandem with Britt, then it's worth it for a stud. That's what you shoot for in the 1st RD - a stud.

Our big mistake in all of this - not trading Justin Gage. We could've packaged a 6th RD pick with him and moved into the 3rd RD or something.

Great draft. You addressed the team's top needs. Davis and Ducasse will boost the problematic 49er line. Hughes is a stud on defense and Thompson is a great value pick who will help out the backfield that is truly in need of help.

Appreciate the feedback. Here's some of my thought process for the 3rd round pick.

I originally wanted a 34DE with my 3rd, but the value just wasn't there for anybody. I felt like neither OLB or ILB were too big of needs. At OLB, we have Dumervil who is elite at the position, and Ayers who was just drafted in the first last year to be the other future starter opposite of him. I felt our depth was good enough that we didn't have to spend a 3rd right now on the position. At ILB, DJ Williams and Andra Davis are both solid backers, and there's some young depth with Larsen and Woodyard.

At Wide Receiver, there's really no future there outside of Marshall and Royal. Also, while Marshall and Royal are both very good for their roles, neither of them is a true deep threat. Without a big play threat at RB either, I felt that it was a need that should be addressed. Ford isn't a track star that plays football, he's a football player that runs track. His world class speed adds a new dimension to the offense, and also lets Royal settle in the slot as a Welker type receiver in McDaniel's offense.

Okung is not flashy by any means, but he can't be worse than the crap they already have. Robinson is a favourite of mine and I would have snapped him up at #40 if he was available. Dunlap is a steal. Similar to a lot of the other workout guys who have dropped the last few years but a steal nonetheless. I nearly took him in the 2nd.

Im more of a BAP type of guy and when you have a top 30 talent OLB sitting there in the late 3rd round. If I could of got one of those last 4 picks I would of cleared up the DE need also.

OLB also happens to be one of our needs.

Carter is probably the 4th best LB in this draft.

1st round 30th overall: Traded to New England Patriots for LB(DE) Adalius Thomas and pick #45.
2nd round 45th overall: Colt McCoy, QB, Texas
2nd round 62nd overall: Morgan Burnett, S, Georgia Tech
3rd round 93rd overall: Navorro Bowman, LB, Penn State

Overall, I'm happy with my draft. I think that I filled all major needs since Adalius Thomas would be playing DE. I feel as though I got 3 first round picks in this draft. I love Colt McCoys speed as well as the fact that he would fit perfectly in Brad Childress's offense. Morgan Burnett has potential to be a beast, and Navorro Bowman was BPA.

we like to bring safeties in on 3rd down for extra DB's and blitzing, you never know HOW healthy Phillips will be. Right now, our plan would be Rhodes and Phillips, with Jones ready for injury. We're insuring CC Brown never has the chance to see the field again. After this season, we wanted to make sure DB depth was had.

I wish the draft would have went 4 or 5 rounds instead, and we'd have probably done a bit more of the same, along with maybe a RB and/or a WR.

I like that Packers draft, as long as the line would be addressed more later on in the draft. That'd be a scary team for the future with a stronger line, a speed back to compliment Grant's power, and the DBs to take over for Woodson and Harris as well as depth at S.

Drafts I liked:

Tampa - Suh is obvious and if Hardy can stay healthy and motivated, he's a steal. Tate and Gerhart are not only talented and versatile, but bring in a good, winning attitude.

Buffalo - They traded down, got a badly needed tackle and with the other pick, took Eric Decker. And with the other two picks, they helped their front seven with Alualu and Lewis.

The entire NFC East - Every team in the NFC East came out with a good day. The Washington Redskins and New York Giants collectively took the Jets to brown town in that ridiculous trade and pretty much every pick made by that division makes sense and was at a good value.

New Orleans - Dan Williams gives the Saints a real nose guard so Ellis can be more effective while putting AJ Hawk and Rod Muckleroy in a great position to succeed.

San Francisco - Four great picks and at positions they needed to address. Their line gets a ton of size and strength while their defense gets a badly needed pass rusher and corner help.

Miami - The Dolphins have arguably the best DLine rotation for any team that runs the 3-4. Now, they have a fantastic pass rushing rotation to go with it and give Chad Henne another weapon at a good value.

Arizona - Valuewise, I think Arizona gets steals in JPP and McCoy. Spievey is a nice pick too.

Drafts I did not like:

Pittsburgh - Yes, valuewise every pick makes sense and maybe down the road, it will look good, but the Steelers are falling apart in the trenches and two of the picks were arguably luxuries which will not do the Steelers any good when Roethlisberger dies on the field and the Steelers cannot stop the run.

Jacksonville - There were so many better options than Ryan Mallett on the board at positions Jacksonville desperately needs to address. I like the Carter pick, but Mallett? Long, long, long term project.

New York Jets - The picks the Jets actually made were good, but that trade has me bewildered. The Redskins and Giants made out on this deal and the Jets were left with guys who have never really done it at the NFL level and even more confusing, the draft was deep at both positions they traded for. I really do not see the wisdom on this deal. The Redskins were bailed out of a bad contract in an uncapped year while being handed a badly needed offensive lineman. The Giants unload a stop gap and strengthen their secondary.

Best Draft: If I had to pick a winner and I'd include my own draft in this, I'd pick the Saints. Every move makes a ton of sense and helps keep them in position to compete for a Superbowl. Dan Williams next to Sedrick Ellis has the makings of a dominant interior line and then putting an underrated and still relatively young AJ Hawk and Rod Muckleroy behind them makes that defense much better.

It's just my opinion, but I think the Saints had the best draft and they picked last, which is very impressive.
