Is it just me or do you guys hate people who always hitch a ride on team bandwagons. For example my friend will like My Eagles, Than the Cowboys, and then when he sees NO Saints are playing well he acts like he lives in Louisiana or something.
I'm gonna be an Eagles and KC or at till i die or atleast McNabb, and Westbrook retire . Anybody like me?

I was a Bengal fan in the dark years and being in high school pretty much no one else was until '05 when we had the 11-5 year. Everyone was all of the sudden the biggest Bengal fan, even today at my college there are tons of people in Bengals stuff. It's annoying because I know they're all bandwagoners.

YUP. Thats how I feel about that.
I also hate people who claim their falcons fans when they only know Muchael Vick off the starting lineup. Not even Warrick Dunn. I hate the Falcs and i could name at least half the starting depth chart.
I said the falcs cause most black canadians like the Falcons and Eagles due to their black QBs.

I have some friends like that, but I am kind of doing it this year. I have never really been a baseball fan, but this year I'm getting into it so I picked the cubs to be the team I root for because I think they might be kinda good. So I'm kinda doing it but I hate it when people do that alot.

Same here. I like the Bengals (obviously), Reds and University of Kentucky Wildcats.
There are some teams I will root for because I like their players (Broncos-Elway, Pacers-Reggie Miller and Texas A&M-Acie Law IV... Eventually I'll root for whoever Acie Law gets drafted by in the NBA).
I don't have a college football team, just can't get into it.

The thing i hate most is that now that Rutgers football is good people are accusing me of being a bandwagon jumper even though i have been a Rutgers fan pretty much since birth. Nothing I say can convince some people otherwise, even that Rutgers was the only school i applied to, and all the **** i talk about from the bad years.
Anyway, I really hate people who switch teams. I will always be a Rutgers, Yankees, Jets, and a Nets fan. There are other teams I root for because of players they have now or they are fun to watch, but never over my teams.

I've always been a fan of Michigan and Detroit teams, having been born and lived Michigan, so all Michigan Wolverines teams, plus the Red Wings, Pistons, Lions and Tigers. I have to say, I've had alot of down years with some of those teams, and it is annoying to see people who couldn't care less about a team like the Tigers up until 2006 now saying that the love the Tigers. Personally, I'll always be a fan of all those teams, no matter if they suck or are champions. Your favorite teams are your passions, and you can't just jump to another team that easily IMO.

I have lived in RI since 1986, and my father grew up in San Francisco and was a big 49ers fan. I started playing Pop Warner in 1989 and I didnt really have a favorite team until the early 90's. There was absoultely no Patriots buzz whatsoever then so I went ahead and jumped on the Dallas Cowboys bandwagon, mainly because I really liked Emmitt Smith. Its also why I like Michigan football, I really liked Desmond Howard. Now call me a bandwagoner if you want, but I could have easily jumped on my local team's(Patriots) bandwagon when the Cowboys went cold and the Pats got hot. But I vowed to stay with the Cowboys through thick and thin. So I was a bandwagoner, but that was before I even had a fave, and I was only 13 years old. Call it what you want, oh and by the way my dad. the former 49ers fan, is now a full fledged Pats fan.

You could have said ".....hairy situation?" as a hairy beaver reference.

Actually, there is.
"A Beaver's Tale: The KMH Mistake" - Clean Beaver.
It essentially talks about how Clean was out of his mind on acid, and got tricked by KMH. It then goes on to tell how KMH then stole all of Clean's beaver tranquilizer.
Finally, it tells about the rampant use of steroids in the Beaver Olympics. I recommend picking this up, as it really shows us what goes on underneath the beaver.

my teams certainly don't make me look like a band wagoner.
football: Bills
hockey: Blues
baseball: jays
basketball: raptors
I used to like the Bucs before I atually watched football because my first 2 NFL games were at the Bucs old stadium when I was 10 or so. I got a blues jersey when I was little and they have always been my favourite. I can't stand watching or reading or listening to baseball or basketball if it doesn\t invlove the Jays or Raptors. The only time I band waggoned a little was in the Yankees v. Red Sox series before the Sox won the WS because I hate the Yankees a lot and my brother loves them. I didn't root for the Sox after that series though because I hate them as well, just not to the same degree as the Yankees.

I was a fan through the Young Era, Garcia Era, Rattay/Smith/Dorsey/Pickett Era, and the Smith Era. I've been loyal for all these years and I don't see myself switching anytime soon.

Yup. Thank you. I thought I was the only one who felt that way.
What happened to all those Niner fans? Where did they all go?
How come all these SD fans popped out of no where all of a sudden when 2 years ago, half of em didn't even know who Tomlinson was.
I can't stand it.
The worst though, is the Dallas Cowboys. Theres so many bandwagon Cowboy fans its not even funny. And they all refuse to admit it. Like, for example, a guy from Connecticut in his 20s liking the Cowboys. Hmmm...how did that happen? I wonder if they joined the bandwagon in the 90s and stuck on for the ride? Theres so many cases of that.

I was born in IN, actually it's an odd story but here it is:
-My mom went to HS with Franco Harris (the same HS that I now go to) so she's a Steelers fan due to that and her father (grandfather) knew someone or was a drinking buddy of someone. I forget that part, I'll have to ask her.
-My great-uncle lived in IN and he was dying, my mom was close to him but she was like 8 months pregnant but the doctors said that he was saying her name constantly. So she had my dad drive her to IN to see her one last time.
-Thus, I was born in IN but never technically lived there.
I'm a Colts fan and I did go through some bad years, albeit most were a bit before my time. I was 6 years old and watched ESPN and I remember seeing them talk about Peyton Manning and Peerless Price all the time and I became a "Volunteers" fan as I had no college connections at the D-1 Level. My sister graduated from Rutgers and they are local so they are the team.
Josh I know how you feel. If you wear a RU shirt/hat, you will get the people saying "Now, you wear the shirt" though I was wearing it a few years ago.
Phillies, plenty of close but no cigar feelings, the Flyers and I'm not an NBA fan but it would be either the Pacers, Sixers or the Orlando Magic as they do have Darko Milicic.

The two other teams I like are the Yankees and Knicks and those are both because I live in New York.
