Good Patriots mock. Ay 59 both LaFell and Damian Williams could be good picks instead of Ducasse. But I wouldn't mind if this is the way things turn out come draft day.

IF Detroit can somehow trade up from the top of the third to the back half of the second to grab M. Williams or Ducasse, then this would be a tremendous way for the draft to play out. Good job!

Why would we draft 2 DE's. Richard Seymour, Greg Ellis, Matt Shaghnessy(3rd rounder last year who is playing great) and Jay Richardson. I could see us going Bruce Campbell is the 1st, Griffen in the 2nd, Phil Taylor in the 3rd and keep JD in the later 3rd

The Eagles look like the winner in this one.

Two CB's for the Titans? Why'd you ignore our need at DE?

My advice is pass on Robinson in the 1st RD. Go Jerry Hughes or Jason Pierre-Paul there to fill the need at DE.

In the 2nd RD, Lindley is a good pick. Arenas would be good as well, since he'd fill the uncertainty at PR/KR.

this looks like a pretty solid mock overall, but the vikings mock is pretty horrible. pike in the first? when mallet is still on the board? i would take pike in the third, but that may still be a reach. the first for pike is ridiculous. dont like oghabasse to the vikes either. give us mallet in the first and burnett in the second. besides the vikes, the other teams looked pretty solid.

I think I'd prefer Tate in the second round for the Jets...presents a solid value and the offense could use a boost. Edwards will be around for another year in all likelihood but I don't know if there are any long-term guarantees and either way some help is needed in a #3 WR and in the return game and Tate would help there. Not a bad mock, though.

decent redskins draft but i think LT is more important so maybe Okung in the first and Best in the 2nd

LOVE Tate and Cody to the Phins, but Cole seems to be a little bit of a reach. I don't see him as any more than a 4th or 5th rounder at the moment. So in that case, I would prefer someone like George Selvie or Major Wright in the 3rd.

Yea, Gerhart could bring back that nasty run game we had with C. Dillon. Best replaces Faulk and potentially Maroney as well.

Can't go wrong with either one

Hard to justify the Jags passing up Derrick Morgan but if it has to be done I'd want it to be for Sean Weatherspoon. Really I'm just fine with any mock that doesn't have Jags taking Tebow in the first.

That's probably my favorite possible Seahawks draft. Maybe Bradford instead of Okung but Spiller and Allen are def. on my Christmas list.

That is a great question, I simply overlooked it, and did not edit the draft as well as I usually do. I am out of town for a while and tried to put this out quickly before I left, my apologies, the next edition will not be as poorly put together, and I will take your advise into consideration for sure.

I really wanted to give them Okung, listenning to talk radio up here, and some other stuff going on, the hiring of Bruce Allen, a new coach, most likely Shanny, and the teams up coming gutting that I believe is going to happen on offense... All this more often than not leads to a new QB first and foremost, and that is the only reason I put Bradford in that spot over Okung, I understand your "grade" though, I wouldnt like it either.

I'd rather Everson Griffen over Graham

619
12-27-2009, 11:15 AM
You missed on two of three picks. Griffen in round two was okay except I don't think he is the best fit for our defense. We have bigger needs than to draft two defensive ends in the top two rounds. If you are going to make us reach on anyone, then please let it be Bruce Campbell.

zachsaints52
12-27-2009, 11:57 AM
With all the money Saints have tied up in DL (Ellis, Grant, and Smith) and with decent back-ups on the DE already with McCray I dont see us using a 1st and 3rd on DL. Maybe a OT in the first and this would be a good Saints draft.

Cigaro
12-27-2009, 02:28 PM
I'd take those Panthers picks. But I'd rather have Golden Tate or Bailey in the second. While I'm not big on us taking a defensive end this early, I'd also accept Romeus. I like our healthy offensive line, but that never seems to be the case, so if we drafted Iupati I'd also be happy.

Like the third, only other option I'd suggest would be McCoy.
