1. Oakland Raiders-JaMarcus Russell
This ones pretty obvious in my opinion...I can't see the Raiders taking Calvin Johnson when there are still going to be good receivers on the board with there first pick in the second.
2. Detroit Lions-Brady Quinn
Although it might not be what they need the most, Millen will go with the sexy pick as usual.
3. Cleveland Browns-Adrian Peterson
Slam dunk in my opinion. Cleveland has been acquiring offensive line help via free agency the last few seasons so i don't see them picking Thomas. Jamal Lewis will only be there for a year.
4. Minnesota Vikings (trade with Tampa)-Calvin Johnson
The only thing that would hold up this trade is how much Minnesota is willing to give up. I think Tampa would rather take a defensive end than a receiver with this pick so why not trade down, acquire some additional draft picks, and still take one of the top two defensive ends in the draft.
5. Arizona Cardinals-Joe Thomas
Obvious selection if he's on the board, Cardinals might need 15 seconds to announce this pick if it falls there way.
6. Washington Redskins-Gaines Adams
Carter had a disappointing season considering the money they gave him, The Skins have quite a few needs but a phenomenal pass rusher is probably the most glaring. A guy like Adams could help Carter get back in the swing of things as well.
7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Jamaal Anderson
Adding an elite pass rusher and draft picks with the trade down.
8. Houston Texans-Levi Brown
Carr has been eaten up by the pass rush during his career with Houston. Brown is clearly the second best offensive tackle behind Thomas, and where this might be a stretch...it certainly addresses a need.
9. Miami Dolphins-Alan Branch
Going to the 3-4 you need an anchor at the nose tackle position (e.g. Jamal Williams, Vince Wilfork) and Branch seems like he has all the tools to be one of the best.
10. Atlanta Falcons-Chris Houston
Might be a suprising pick but i think Houston is the best corner in the draft and his combine certainly helped his stock. Although i haven't seen him play i've read that Jimmy Williams is probably better suited for safety so why not grab Houston, have a very good 1-2 punch at corner and move Williams to safety where he's more likely to succeed.
11. San Francisco 49ers-Laron Landry
Gotta like what Mike Nolan and the 49ers have been doing lately and they'll have a very strong secondary with Walt Harris, Nate Clements & Landry. They'll take a look at Carriker.
12. Buffalo Bills-Patrick Willis
So many needs after losing a lot of their good players via free agency. They could go a number of ways but Willis certainly caught some eyes at the combine and I see him going early.
13. St. Louis Rams-Amobi Okoye
Defense has always seems to be the issue in St. Louis and Okoye has so much potential and could help them out right away with the run defense.
14. Carolina Panthers-Reggie Nelson
Taking Nelson would give them one of the best secondaries in the league and although there are other holes to fill, primarily linebacker, but i don't think there are good 4-3 linebackers with as much value as nelson at 14.
15. Pittsburgh Steelers-Adam Carriker
Losing Porter hurts, Adding Carriker helps. He won't be as good as a pass rusher as Porter but he's gonna be real good and he has a much better attitude than Porter too.
16. Green Bay Packers-Marshawn Lynch
Green's gone, Lynch is in.
17. Jacksonville Jaguars-Leon Hall
They could use a corner opposite Mathis and Hall is the best available. They could take a look at receiver but I can't see them taking Williams, Jones and a guy like Ginn for instance in three out of the last four years.
18. Cincinatti Bengals-Darrelle Revis
They'll address defense with this pick, and i think it will be cornerback. I don't see any Defensive tackles worth the eighteenth pick and Thurman/Brooks is a good combo at linebacker. Joseph and Revis is a real good combination for years to come.
19. Tennessee Titans-Tedd Ginn Jr.
Ginn gives Young a very good weapon. Could be a bit of a project but if all things go accordingly Ginn will be an elite down-the-field receiver for Tennessee. Could help in the return game too cause lord knows Pacman could be dead or in jail in a few months/years.
20. New York Giants-Lawrence Timmons
I think Timmons could end up being a huge bust and i don't like this pick at all, he didn't have the combine experts predicted but the Giants need linebackers after cutting a few starters so i think they'll go with him.
21. Denver Broncos-Charles Johnson
On the other hand i love this pick, Johnson has been flying somewhat under the radar but has the tools to be a very good pass rusher in this league, and this is something Denver definitely needs.
22. Dallas Cowboys-Brandon Merriweather
A good cover safety to help out Williams in coverage when he's out of position which seems to be a lot.
23. Kansas City Chiefs-Robert Meachem
Chiefs number one receiver has been Eddie Kennison for what seems like an eternity. Meachem ran a very good 40 and i believe could end up being the best receiver in the draft behind CJ.
24. New England Patriots (from: Sea)-Jon Beason
Pats addressed a ton of needs via free agency but still could use some youth at inside linebacker. He'll have a year to learn the system with Bruschi coming back and Vrabel moving to inside.
25. New York Jets-Jarvis Moss
Adds a pass rushing element to the Jets 3-4.
26. Philadelphia Eagles-Michael Griffin
Losing Lewis means they could use another safety alongside Dawkins (I don't think Considine is the answer). Reid likes the high character guys and Griffin definitely fits the bill there.
27. New Orleans Saints-Paul Posluzny
One of the best offensive teams in the league so they'll definitely be addressing the other side of the ball here. Could go secondary here but Pos is a good prospect who can play inside or outside.
28. New England Patriots-Aaron Ross
The most glaring need for the Patriots is definitely the secondary, Hobbs is more of nickelback and with taking Ross that allows them to move Hobbs out of a starting position.
29. Baltimore Ravens-Tony Ugoh
Ogden's future is up in the air and i thought watching the Ravens last year there weakness was protecting McNair. Ugoh will help with that.
30. San Diego Chargers-Jason Hill
Bowe and Jarrett are too similar to what Jackson brings to the table so they'll bring in a burner opposite him. Hill was another guy that really helped his stock at the combine and would be another good weapon for a loaded Chargers team.
31. Chicago Bears-Greg Olsen
Clark will be 30 going into next season and they could use some help at defensive tackle or linebacker with Briggs exiting this year or next but i think they go with value over need here.
32. Indianapolis Colts-Buster Davis
Davis has good instincts and will help the defense right away with the possibility of losing June to free agency.

hmm he isnt a NT, he is a 5 technique in the 3-4 system.

He is a nice player though him or landry I wont complain over but wanted to correct you. He cant play the 3-4 NT position.

Really stupid trade. We want CJ and we have 2 2nd rounders already, so we don't need extra picks.

If the Patriots go ILB in the first round, we would most likely take Posluszny over Beason seeing how you have Puz available. Good second pick at #28 with Aaron Ross.

By WE you mean the fans not the front office DUMBY, it clearly would be a smarter play if you were to trade with Minnesota considering you have sucky QB's anywho. There will still be quality wide receivers in the second round (more so than quality defensive ends) and just because you already have two second rounders doesn't mean the Bucs wouldn't want more draft picks, the trade would likely involve a second round choice in '08 not '07, and another pick. Man you're an idiot no offense, actually yes i do mean to be offensive with that.

hey bud i'm a patriots fan too, and i'd actually like to see them draft the two texas defensive backs in the first round, but i seriously doubt thats going to happen. I have Pioli & company taking Beason over Pos because he's more athletic than Pos and he can play OLB and ILB (i know Pos can too) plus you got injury history there with Pos so its less of a risk with Beason.

Great Eagles pick, we need a SS, but just wanted to let you know that Condidne will be our FS once Dawkins retires.

1.these are the picks i do not like- i do not think Atlanta drafts a corner after just drafting jimmy williams last year- they would not pass on landry- i dont think houston goes that high either
2. After trading mcgahee and havin only shaud williams on the roster i think they go marshawn lynch
3. after losing brian simmons i think the bengals go OLB
4. the saints need a CB more than OLB

ravens ranked 2nd in the least amound of sacks given up last year so i wouldnt say that was a weakness, but it is a need now

BAD Ravens Pick.

I have many OL's ranked above him. He is a late round 2 pick at BEST.

Really stupid trade. We want CJ and we have 2 2nd rounders already, so we don't need extra picks.

We could always use more picks. The second round has a lot of good talent that will help our team, like Mebane, Leonard, Weddle, Staley, etc etc.

Should we trade down to 7, we'll take Okoye.

Don't like the Rams pick. He's a UT not a NT.

for the eagles i would rather have Buster Davis then Griffen, i give u a c on the eagles pick and c on the mock as a hole. Having the bills take Willis instead of Lynch is one of the things that made this go down alot

Here is my reasoning for the Bills not taking Lynch. The Bills are gonna be one of the worst teams in the NFL next year with all the players they lost. Why not grab the best linebacker in the draft (a position they're gonna need to address once Spikes leaves) and wait until next year when they have a very high pick and take McFadden, he's clearly going to be a better pro than Lynch.

terrible pick for Jacksonville. If it shaped up like that, we'd probably just take Griffin from Texas. We have no need at corner. At most we might draft a late round developmental guy, but definitely not as our 1st round pick.

i like the vikes getting CJ in the trade but Childress isnt gonna want to give up much to trade up for him, so i think the trade is probably going to be very unlikely to happen
