A video of many sports moments that occurred in the past 10 years.

Will this be moved?
Probably.

But I felt that it deserved its own thread.

Enjoy.

It's the first day of a new decade, for what it's worth, it gets my vote to stay.

It may seem wierd but after our 12-4 season where we got knocked out by the pats in the divisional round, we fell into a massive slump and kept on losing to the colts, Bironas kicked what I see as an almost miracle 60 yarder to win the game...I cried.

Funniest Moment

I loved his swagger before the kick, then he missed it...badly.

the red wings should have gotten some sort of mention. i mean they just won the cup 3 times and the presidents trophy 4 times. no big deal

also lidstrom being the first european captain to win the cup deserved something.

and brodeur needs to be in there as well.

**** that, the nhl is awesome

That was the best thing ESPN did all year. I'm also glad they saved the best for last. :)

Such an amazing video, gives me chills. I really like the part where it had the Va Tech, Katrina, and 9/11 clips. Very emotional compilation.

No clip better than Bourque kissing the cup though.

I would have loved to see Mats do it, even on another team

yeah its a shame that they couldnt have added a couple more hockey clips. like i said before lidstrom and brodeur deserved it. they could have even added a crosby v ovechkin clip. i do like that they had ovi's dirty goal

I could've sworn I saw a Red Wings player holding the cup.
I'll have to watch again - Not that that's a bad thing lol

Andreychuk > Bourque

For me, anyway.

Nobody really cares that Lidstrom is the first Euro captain to win the Cup, and I can't blame them for that. The possibility that he's been the best player in all of the big 4 this decade? A different story.
Brodeur has been doing his thing for two decades now. He's just been picking up longevity records lately, but you can't deny that he's still a top-3 player in his sport this decade. I don't think he needs to be on there, but I have no strong feelings on any of this. Except that Dave Andreychuk was awesome.

I've watched that about 15 times now (I have it saved on my DVR) but that Sean Taylor, Virginia Tech, Katrina and 9/11 part gives me goosebumps every time. Really goes to show that sports transcend the fields they're played on and bring people together and that is one of many reasons I absolutely love sports.

And I love all those basketball shots where the entire crowd just cheers immediately and are all on their feet, its crazy and I love it that nervous feeling leading up to the shot and then bam, instant gratification.

I'm very glad that they added those parts in there.
