while they are nice if you want comfort that is not the way to go. this is the way for comfort and similar style. cost you double the price though ($140)

Croc Sandles
Nike LeBron 20-5-5
American Eagles Slippers
Dress Shoes (forget brand, rarely wear since I'm a student)

Different shoes for different purposes. Just like you have sweaters, T-shirts, long sleeves, dress shirts, etc.

Plus it's a lot better for your body if you don't wear the same shoes day after day.

Athletic shoes? It's nice to have at least two pairs of casual shoes because wearing the same shoes every day is bad for you. Apparently shoes should be rotated on a day-to-day basis because they need time to regenerate after being worn for a day. They lose some of the support they offer when they are worn day after day.

Also, it doesn't cost anything extra because your shoes wear out at a slower rate when you have more pairs.

All I have is my Nike basketball shoes that I exercise in, my Circa skate shoes that I do everything that won't be covered by anything else I mention, my rugby cleats, my football cleats, my Dress shoes, my sandals, my work boots and my ski boots. So while I own 8 pairs of foot wear, I only use one on a day to day basis. I can't be bothered to use more than one pair of shoes, I'll end up favoring one and only wearing that one anyways.

By the way, I love stomping on people's feet who have the kind of shoes you guys are talking about the first day they buy them, its good fun. Only the emo people in my area wear them, or the creepy 'thinks hes cool' old man kind of person.

p.s. I came into this thread hoping to brag about my work van, a classy 02' Ford E-250 Cargo Van that my uncle gave me, its bad ass.

I don't consider cleats as shoes, and I don't play sports anymore, anyways. Formal occasions? I usually have to go back to my parents house and try to dig something out of the closet.

If times are desperate and I absolutely need a pair of dress shoes that I know I'll only wear once, I'll go to Pay Less.
