EA Sports is bringing back NBA Jam they confirmed it today. Right now it's only on Wii so hopefully it can be plotted to 360/PS3 as well. If not I might consider getting a Wii if it's any good.

Hopefully it won't be a ****** rendition of the game.

I remember having that on the snes! hah

I always owned with the Rockets since they had Olajuwon and Horry.

01-11-2010, 02:50 PM
I always used Bill Clinton he was the man.

01-11-2010, 02:55 PM
My teams were the Sonics (Kemp and Payton) or the Suns (Marjerle and Barkley)

01-11-2010, 03:31 PM
Yeah Bill Clinton was pretty sick

I always used Bill Clinton he was the man.

Oh yeah. I forgot about Bill.

If it hits 360 I'm all over it, but for the Wii at 480i - No thanks.

I always used Bill Clinton he was the man.

Bill Clinton and Al Gore were my best team, and George Clinton and whoever the hell Air Dog was were my second favorite.

Dream and Horry was the best combo, Stockton and Malone a close 2nd

of course i used Thunder Dan and Barkley

Scottie Pippen and Goggles McGee!!!

Grandmama and Zo was my personal favorite.

As a Bucks fan, it was hard to not be them but Brad Lohaus and Blue Edwards might be the worst basketball video game combo of all time and winning with them was barely possible.

I used to love that game. lol

I was always the Bullets despite them being crap. I liked the team/name.

Most fun basket ball game ever I know people that hate basket ball and loved that game.

Jason Kidd and Michael Finley.

If done right it could be an excellent game at the Wii. I can't picture myself enjoying NBA Jam with just a regular controller in my hand. I did when it was on the SNES and N64, but I was a youngin back then.

In the Legends selection... Dino Radja? Does he get 99 for threes now?

Where is the respect for the Magic with Penny and Horace, with Anderson off the bench? Penny's lowest score was like a 7. TE, of course.

Not that Horry can't make the 99.999% game-ending three from the opposite FT line, but still.

Then Charlotte, then Seattle with Schrempf.

Used to go Magic as they are my team.

But Kemp/Payton, Zo and Grandmama and Horry/Olajuwon were the best teams.

Also... Can't help but say, are they just going to call it NBA Live, given that the last few NBA Lives have been closer to NBA Jam than an actual basketball Sim(note haven't played the latest so if they got back on track, ignore me)...

01-11-2010, 09:49 PM
The last NBA Live I bought was 2002... Rashard Lewis was about as effective as legends like Dominique or Big O, so... yeah more goofy than a sim. But that's old.

If they had NBA Showtime with high resolution I'd buy that, too (as much as Jam).

everybody knows that the best team was Golden State. Chris Mullen got away with Goaltending and Tim Hardaway was the best teammate in the game.

Christian Laettner and Isiah Rider FTW!

Starks and Ewing ftw

Oh please let them not ruin one of my favorite all time games!

I used Charolette, Larry Johnson, Alonzo Mourning, Mugsy Boughs(sp?)

I think that may have been NBA Jam 2

I remember playing this game, but was too young to know who I was using

So we are talking about the old awesome duo's, who will be the new dominating duo's. I'd imagine that Kobe-Gasol and Pierce-Garnett would be pretty unstoppable.

01-13-2010, 10:57 AM

I bet Westbrook/Durant would be pretty sick. Nash/Stoudamire too.
