Made some classic tunes, and if your parents were doing it right, chances are they were listening to some of his music when you were created. Might be before some of your guys time. RIP to the young man, died at the age of 59.

Yeah he was damn good at what he did. Some people forget that he sang lead with Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes. Everyone remembers "If You Don't Know Me By Now."

And besides being an incredible musician/vocalist, He also founded the Teddy Pendergrass Alliance to aid in the education, employment and overall lifestyle enhancement of people with spinal cord injuries. That did a lot of good for a lot of people.
