View Full Version : Snyder 101 mock with pic /and etc Very accurate draft

snyder101

EDIT:" Ill add pic later

St. Louis (1-15) -Sam Bradford (QB- Oak) - Bradford is probably the most NFL ready QB and Im very sure the rams want this guy. Bradford was a better QB prospect than Marc Sanchez and Stafford in last years draft . Bradford IMO plays very accurate and is a very smart learner and if given time can show NFL elitness. Great pick for the Rams who need a new franchise QB badly.Injury was and still could be a concern.
-NFL comparison: Drew Brees

Detroit (2-14) -Detroit Lions: Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska -The Lions HC needs to draft his own Albert Haynesworth. This guy is incredible he has 3-4 sacks I believe in one game and singley has 3 ints this season. This guy is potentialy to be the next Warren Sapp and I bet he will be. The Lions already have there franchise QB and WR's now its down too DT. This guy is the best at what he does and i'll be a big fan of him

NFL comparison:Warren Sapp

Tampa Bay (3-13) Seattle Seahawks: Eric Berry, S, Tennessee - The Bucs will pick this guy he is feirc is is a beast he is a monster. The Bucs need to re-build there secondary that has been shattered these past three years. This guy reminds me of a Ed Reed and Buc fans will be happy with this pick.

NFL comparison: Ed Reed.

Washington (4-12) Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame - Im a big skins fan but like it or not Skins fans this team has to adress the QB position. Clausen is probably the best QB in the draft hes witness it all with a bad ND team. Shanny wants to develop his QB as fast and possible and JC might be here and if so it will be for one year. QB developes takes 3 years or maybe two. The skins could pick a OT in the 2nd round and trade some players or pick up a free agent to adress the other tackle postion. Clausen plays like a Tony Romo type and has some very good fades. We will need our franchise QB asap since we are not sure how good next year QB will be or even have the chance since 5 teams will need a QB. Shanny likes a Cutler-Plummer-Elway qb's and wit a new GM and new winning staff this team possibly can get it right.

JC is not the answer at 29.

NFL comparison: Tony Romo

Kansas City (4-12) Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State -KC has its franchise QB which is important. So now they help out Cassel with this pick by getting Okung who is the best LT coming out of this draft. He is very great in that pass protection and a very smart guy . They will be boosted on the LT portection in which they deal with a Elvis-Seymour-Phillip every year.

NFL comparison:Jason Peters

Seattle (5-11) Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland -Sorry Hawk fan....with Clausen/Bradford gone the Seahawks will have too help out Hasselback out and Bruce Campbell is the guy. This guy is almost as equal to Okung and will help the poor seahawks OL that has been in need for more protection. Pette Carrol will adress this year with one stud OT than go QB next year.

NFL comparison: Chris Samuels

Cleveland (5-11) Cleveland Browns: Joe Haden, CB, Florida -The Browns will need to adress there secondary very badly. The defense seems to have inconsistant/ and good defense at times but they need a future stud CB very badly. This guy plays like a Champ Baily and I can see that hes very physical in the LOS and has very good speed.

NFL comparison: Champ Baily

Oakland (5-11) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma
The Raiders are in need for a true killing BLACK BORN KILLA . This guy will complament the raiders front 4 which is inconsistant. They Have Richard Seymour-Kelly-Ellis but not they need a true guy who can collapse the pocket. This guy reminds me of a Albert Haynesworth:)

-NFL Comparison :Albert Haynesworth

Buffalo (6-10) Buffalo Bills: Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers -Very sure the Bills will trade for a QB and likely will have Kolb or Mcnabb or Vick. This guy is one of the best run blocking guy in the league. Heck probably the best one out there.

NFL comparison: Mike Neil

Jacksonville^ (7-9) Jacksonville Jaguars: Tim Tebow, QB, Florida -Tim Tebow is a Gator and Jacksonville is in love with this guy. This guy reminds me of a Mark Brunell in his prime type of guy. Tim Tebow will be a Jags .

NFL comparison: Prime (Brunell)

Denver - from Chicago^ (7-9) Denver Broncos: Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State
Broncos seem to not be getting Brandon Marshall back which is a very huge loss. The Broncos will look for his replacement if not probably more of a team player and possibly a better play. This guy reminds me of a Brandon Marshall so with this pick hopfully it will fee like Marshall got younger and happier.

NFL comparison:Brandon Marshall

Miami (7-9) Miami Dolphins: Rolando McClain, ILB, Alabama
The Dolphins seem to need another LB. Jason Taylor isnt a good run stopper and has lost steps so look for the phins adress the LB postion. If not than WR could be the other option .

NFL Comparison: Joey Porter

San Francisco (8-8) Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech -Justin Smith is one of the best pass rushing DE's today but the 9ers have no one to complament them for that. The 9ers might trade up and try and get Clausen or Bradford but will stick with Smith. I think Morgan will be the next Richard Seymour.

-NFL Comparison : Richard Seymour

Seattle - from Denver (8-8) C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson - The Seahawks adress with an OT now they adress with the best RB in the draft. Matt Hasselback had not just bad protection but very un-realible RB's. With CJ they probably will have a much faster game and can become a big play maker. reminds if of a Franke Gore.

-NFL comparison : Franke Gore

New York Giants (8-8) New York Giants: Brian Price, DT, UCLA
Brian Price made a great decision by declaring for the 2010 NFL Draft. He just had a monstrous junior campaign with 23.5 TFL and seven sacks. He's clearly the third-best defensive tackle available behind Ndamukong Suh and Gerald McCoy. It'll be a big upset if he slips out of the first round.

-NFL comparison: Cary Hampton.

Tennessee^ (8-8) Tennessee Titans: Everson Griffen, DE, USC
Defensive end is Tennessee's No. 1 need. The Titans weren't able to get any sort of pressure on Philip Rivers without blitzing in a must-win game on Christmas Eve. And you can't blitz an elite quarterback like Rivers - as Jon Gruden would say, "He'll kill ya."

With a number of expiring contracts at defensive end this offseason, this selection will be spent on a pass-rusher unless the Titans acquire a high-priced player at the position via free agency.

-NFL comparison : Jevon Kearse(Prime)

-

San Francisco - from Carolina^ (8-8) San Francisco 49ers: Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa - The 49ers are finally starting to see Alex Smith progress so this is his last year too prove it. With that being said he will need more protection and the 9ers pick up one of the better OL man in this draft. Hes both good in protection and run blocking so this will be good for Smith who plays in a weak divison who can probably boost his stats by 50% better with this guy to help.

Pittsburgh (9-7) Pittsburgh Steelers: Earl Thomas, FS, Texas
Safety will be a big need for the Steelers this offseason. Ryan Clark is getting old and the Steelers need to try and find another great safety like Troy Polomalou. This guy is the best there is when it comes to pass defense. This guy has alot of potential but I see him more of a LaRon Landry type.

-NFL comparison: LaRon Landry

Atlanta^ (9-7) Atlanta Falcons: Donovan Warren, CB, Michigan
They need a new CB and ever sinc lost Deangelo Hall they have never had that big time play making CB any more. This guy is the next Dhall for them.

-NFL comparison: Deangelo Hall

Houston^ (9-7) Houston Texans: Dan Williams, NT, Tennessee
If Donovan Warren and Earl Thomas are both off the board, the Texans will be in a really tough spot. They are gonna need a big time DT that can collapse the pocket pretty good and stop the run. Texans look to do it with this guy.
-NFL comparison:

Cincinnati* (10-6) Arrelious Benn, WR, Illinois - The Bengles need something here???? Coles isnt that good any more. Chad Johnson is getting old. Cladwell could be the replacement. BUt what this team lack is a TJ houshmanzada. This team needs another WR to complament Chad Johnson and have that two hit combo like it had b4 and thats what it was missing this year.

NFL comparison : TJ hoursh

New England* (10-6) New England Patriots: Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oak- The Pats have Randy Moss-Welker- But have no play making TE such as a Chris Cooley,Shocky,Gonzales. So Brady been missing that "IT" factor with a TE for a long time. Look for them to get the best TE in the draft.

NFL comparison:Chris Cooley

Green Bay* (11-5) : Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma
Aaron Rogers is one of the best QB today and shows alot of posse. But he probably has the worst OL in the league and deeply needs a better OT badly . Trent Williams will help Rogers on the blind side and help this packers OL that hasnt had a good OL since Favre left.

-NFL comparison: B,Brickshaw Ferguson

Philadelphia* (11-5) Philadelphia Eagles: Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida The Eagles dont have a very good DE in Victor but will adress the problem with this. Trent Cole is amazing so have some one very fast and can become a difference maker can be very good. This guy can be dancing his way to Philly.
-NFL comparison : Jason Taylor

New York Jets* (9-7) New York Jets: Jerry Hughes, DE/OLB, TCU
It's really amazing that Vernon Gholston has yet to register a single sack in his NFL career. You'd think he'd get one by accident or something. If no CBA is reached and 2010 is an uncapped year, Gholston will be cut without any sort of cap penalty.
NFL comparison: John Abraham

Baltimore* (9-7) Baltimore Ravens: Damian Williams, WR, USC The Ravens need another WR clayton,Mason arent number #1 WR's at all and the Ravens need youth and consistancy young hungry potentially the best WR they ever had. I see this guy too be a very good one and can say he is a Boldin type.

NFL comparison: Boldin.

Arizona* (10-6) : Charles Brown, OT, USC
The Cards need to build some good stud OL man right here. Everything is pretty good but they will see how we'll Leinart is and or not the franchise QB they drafted him for. So the Cards adress the OL with a stud OT.

NFL comparison: Leonardo Davis(T/OG)

Dallas* (11-5) -Taylor Mays USC, SS- The Cowboys need a new safety since they dont really have a game breaking safety that scares people. This guy reminds me of a Troy Polomalou . So This guy should improve the Cowboys secondary that lacks and gives up big plays some times.

NFL comparison: Troy Polomalou

Minnesota* (12-4) Minnesota Vikings: Colt Mccoy (TEXAS QB)- The Vikes have a very good Bret Favre who feel slike hes 20 again but the problem is he isnt. Colt Mccoy reminds me alot of a Aaron Rogers so Colt Mccoy could be the future of the Vikes. All does who learn under Favre become very good and Mccoy should be the future.

NFL comparison: Colt Mccoy

San Diego* (13-3) San Diego Chargers: Brandon LaFell, WR, LSU
The Chargers always seem to surprise us every year. They could go a number of different directions here, but one thing we do know is that general manager A.J. Smith prefers massive wide receivers. At 6-3, 205, Brandon LaFell definitely fits that description.

If a new CBA isn't reached, both Vincent Jackson and Malcom Floyd will be restricted free agents, and there's a good chance one of them won't be back in San Diego in 2010 (probably the latter). If so, the Chargers could opt to replace Floyd with LaFell.

NFL comparison:Antonio Bryant

New Orleans* (13-3) New Orleans Saints: Sean Weatherspoon, OLB, Missouri : -The Saints defense has done alot better but not good enough. Other than Vilma they dont have any other interior LB to complament them.

Indianapolis* (14-2) Indianapolis Colts: Jason Pierre-Paul, DE, South Florida
Defensive end is not a big need for the Colts right now. It will be a year from now when Raheem Brock and Robert Mathis are both free agents.

NFL comparison: Jullius Peppers.

im not sold on clausen for the skins. he has no mobility, decent but not great arm strength, and takes a lot of sacks. hes not a great mold for the shanny offense and without fixing the oline he is even moreso a sitting duck. we need a new rt, lt, g, and center. in the 25 years from 80-05, 40% of first round olineman are probowlers and only 12% of 2nd round olineman are probowlers. i wouldnt rule out defense either considering it looks like the skins are switching to the 3-4. guys like mclain and mccoy definitely come into consideration.

The Niners have a great 3-4 D line rotation Morgan would be a terrible fit, I really do not see how he compares to Richard Seymour at all. Give us Earl Thomas at that pick. Bulaga is right on the money.

Only thing Polamalu and Mays have in common is that they went to USC. And Earl Thomas is probably more like Bob Sanders... But that's just me.

I've read more than a couple of those explanations word for word on a different site, you really shouldn't be copying and pasting stuff and giving no credit whatsoever.

Ignoring the plagiarism I would like Hughes on the Jets.

Seriously though, if you're going to borrow ideas at least reword them or add in some thoughts of your own. It's easy for people who have read something before to realize that they've read that exact same thing before. And the grammar and general quality of writing in the explanations you did on your own is dramatically different than the other ones, so it's not too hard to tell which is which.

Hate the Pats pick. TE is not a 1st round need. Especially with J. Hughes and JPP still on the board.
Pass rush is our No.1 need. We ignored it last year- we can't do that again

LOVE the Phins pick. I would be ecstatic if McClain fell to us.

On the other hand, your comparison is pathetic. Porter and McClain are NOTHING alike. This is coming from a Dolphins fan. Not actually sure what a good comparison would be, but it's certainly not Joey Porter. Porter is a 3-4 OLB, McClain's best fit would be as an ILB in a 3-4.

Thanks for the work and effort I've got to say though that these comparisons to me are way off:

-Sam Bradford
-Bruce Campbell
-Joe Haden
-Derrick Morgan
-C.J. Spiller
-Jermaine Gresham
-Trent Williams
-Damian Williams

GoRavens

I like the Damian Williams pick.
BUT! there's no way he's comparable to Anquan Boldin.
He's slimmer, quicker, and way less physical.. Two completely different types of receivers

Horrible selection for the Bucs. Absolutely horrible. If Ndamukong Suh or Gerald McCoy are on the board, the Bucs will not pass on them.

You mention that the Buc's secondary is a mess and it does need work, but the Buc's defensive line is in far worse shape than the secondary currently is. When you consider that along with the fact that the defensive system the Buccaneers run MUST have a good defensive line, I don't see how you can justify them selecting Eric Berry over Gerald McCoy.

Dunlap is a good Eagles pick, but if Taylor Mays falls that far I would absolutely take him over Dunlap. Mays has gone from overrated to
underrated and would be an absolute steal at pick 24.
