Wanted to get everybody's thoughts on the list, do you agree with it? What movies should be higher? What movies should have been included in the Top 10?

Personally, I think Varsity Blues should be a little higher. Easily my favorite football movie, high school Quarterback who faces the adversity of "high school politics" in Texas football. Plus the blonde chick's whipped cream bikini ;)

How does either We Are Marshall or Invincible not squeeze out Heaven Can Wait?

Any Given Sunday is so much better than Radio... hell, should Radio even be on that list? I swear, you throw a ****** into a movie and people think it's so great.

Varsity Blues > Friday Night Lights.

Yea, I said it.

Also, I have a hard time enjoying Rudy at all now knowing that the guy was kind of a prick and wrote the movie about himself to make himself look good.

The Friday Nights TV show is way better than any football movie, and it's a general rule that football is the weakest sport film wise.

Out of what sports? I know there's been some GREAT baseball films

Boxing: Raging Bull, Rocky, When We Were Kings, Million Dollar Baby
Baseball: Field of Dreams, Bull Durham, The Natural
Golf: Caddyshack, Tin Cup
Basketball: Hoop Dreams, Hoosiers, White Men Can't Jump
Hockey: Slapshot

Just pointing out that football is a sport without an excellent movie to represent it, and the closest thing to it is probably Jerry Maguire, which doesn't count really.

I had a friend in HS who would come home from school and watch The Replacements every day. This didnt last for a week or two, he kept up with it for nearly 3 months.

The football is like a one man cold to Clifford Franklin. Clifford Franklin the only one catching it, and Clifford Franklin the only one coming down with it!

Not even close. Maybe hockey because there aren't enough movies to even represent it, but basketball absolutely blows Football away movie wise, especially when you consider a movie like Hoop Dreams exists for basketball which is 800 billion times better than any football movie.
