View Full Version : Fred Rouse

I did some digging and found that Fred Rouse is a Junior at Concordia College Selma, which is in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC). Couldn't find any stats, but if anyone has them or has seen him play since he was effectively banished from the NCAA, is he still an NFL prospect?

Rouse will not get drafted. He might make someones training camp but I expect nothing out of it.

Yup my thoughts exactly. Undrafted free agent.

there about a 5% chance he turns his life around...he was dirty way back when

He's a piece of crap person and an overrated talent with no work ethic and a terrible head on his shoulders. He'll never sniff the NFL.

Fred Rouse, Kenny O'Neil and Brandon Warren...I had high hopes :-(

Apparently he has turned his life around.

He's a big WR, someone will give him a look. But man, straight breaking and entering in college, for a scholarship football player, just spells headache that no NFL team wants.

If he has skills and can play, that is, look like one of the four best WRs on an NFL team during TC, he'll get another chance, but be given an extremely short leash, IMO.

Guys like him scare the crap out of me. No one has a right to play in the NFL, some guys just happen to cut themselves before they ever suit up for a pro training camp.

Loved him coming out of high school, but how many chances can this clown get? He wore out his welcome at FSU quickly and didn't make a dent at UTEP. If he comes into someone's camp as a UDFA and plays lights out then maybe I'll take him seriously, but right now he's looking like a poor man's Charles Rogers.

- what's he doing now??
- is he going back to tennessee now that Kiffin is gone?

I'm definitely willing to give him another chance. But I'm no GM

Always love the 2nd chance stories but it seems really unlikely that he gets a shot unless he truly earns it and he is always going to be a guy you worry about.

what a bust of a talent

It's nice to hear that he's happy at this NAIA and has found religion. I wish he had this attitude when he was with Florida State, we could be looking at a sure fire Top 3 pick.
