The worst was last week in herewhen it got above freezing and we had freezing rain for two days straight. Combine that with 6 or so inches of snow the next day, then -20 temp. It was soo slippery with all that ice under the pow pow.

Me too. That way Iowa might disappear in the process.

That would please everyone, including the people who live in Iowa. Put them out of their misery.

We are expecting 2-4 in D.C., but here in D.C. people forget how to drive when at least an inch has fallen. Back in December when 18-22 inches fell in the region over the span of 2 days places were shut down for like a week. Of course I still had to go to work. A usually 40 minute commute took 3 1/2 hours.

I hear ya bro. I came from PA so I'm used to snow but people around here think its the end of the world when an inch or two falls. I was at work Saturday when it started snowing and the second people saw it, everyone decided it was time to call it a day and then work from home. i wasn't complaining to be able to go home but a 20 minute commute turned into two hours.

I hear its supposed to snow again this weekend, i just can't wait to see what my usual 45 minute drive to manassus will turn into for the super bowl party i'm supposed to attend if there is snow on the ground...

fck man 23 inches already here in D.C. When all is said and done D.C. will end up getting 27-33 inches over these two days with another fcking storm coming in on Tuesday. At least I won't have work until at least Wednesday. There goes my fcking Caps tickets to the Pens game. Some areas real close to D.C. are going to end up with 40+ inches. Trust me in D.C., a half inch causes panic. This is something we haven't seen in our lifetimes. Yesterday lines of Hundreds were formed at grocery storms even before they opened. During the Blizzard of 96 which was less snow than we will be getting today, it took them over a week to even plow my street. Luckily I live on a main road now.

My little bro and sis were chasing me around during a snowball fight and I step in a good sized mud puddle covered in snow. I ate the ground hard, and they still pelted me with snowballs, while I'm on the ground drenched in snow and what I hope is just mud. ******* bastards.

I just built a 4 foot tall snowman in the back yard of my home with my kids. Awesome!

That's not what I do with kids in my backyard.

That's not what I do with kids in my backyard.

This is why I will never let you baby sit.

Anyway, the snowman is now gone.
Because it got warm and melted? No, because my 5 year old son decided it needed to be used as a tackling dummy. He is living up to my expectations as a future DE. He will have the height you look for in a DE although he could add some more weight. He tackles well in space and chases down the QB well. He may be stuck being a 3-4 DE only however.

Here comes another one. They say it's a "hurricane like" snow storm. Supposed to be snowy hell, Thursday through Friday.

I love snow but, I've had my fill for this year. I was all happy because, the basketball court by my house was finally snow free but, now we have another big ole storm coming.

Snowing again in the midwest. It started sometime last night and I just checked the window, still going. Hopefully not too much accumulation. It's not as bad here as the east coast, but a lot more than usual, for sure.

South Dakota has been real bad this year. That's why I'm rejoicing in the fact that there hasn't been any snow for about 3 weeks. There's about 2 feet of snow on the ground right now.

I'm supposed to get hit pretty good with this storm. 12-16" and right in the area of strongest winds. Even with the crazy winter we've had so far, I still want more!

Snow doesn't effect me negatively at all.

- I shovel for money.
- Classes could be cancelled.
- Still have power.
- Gym is still open.

I hear you on that. I assosciate snow with football and the season is over. All that's on my mind right now is baseball right around the corner and there's snow on the ground. Everythings seems off.

I have a feeling NY and Philly baseball games are going to be cancelled because of snow this year.

Snow plows generally help and there's a Honda Ridgeline and Ford Bronco in my driveway.

It's funny seeing the reaction here in Dallas/Fort Worth, we got up to 10 inches one day last week I think but mostly around 4-5 for a few days and the whole city shuts down, school was closed, everyone called into work, nobody had anything to clean their windows off.

Granted it was pretty nasty out but if you live on the east coast or have been there before this is nothing new, it's just crazy to see this is certain areas. I've been living here for 14 years now after moving from Pittsburgh and this has been by far the most snow I've probably seen here total over all the past winters combined. Just got done snowing a few days ago so it hasn't stopped yet either.
