Haha I was just about the post this. That youtube video is damn impressive for a 13 year old though. Obviously a lot can change in the next 5 years.

I've been following this story, and I'll say that I don't have an opinion so far.

Who needs an opinion?

It's obviously ridiculous to get a commitment this early, regardless of how "good" the kid is. I said the same exact thing about Eric Berry's little brother who I think is a member of the class of 2013.

Who's to say that this kid won't catch a bad break in the next five years?

He may turn out to be the next Carson Palmer, but I think the odds are that he won't and people will realize (not that they already haven't) that Lane Kiffin is a complete moron.

I wish I would have got some recruiting play in 8th grade. I was such a beast back then. lol. But alas....a white running back. Dammit.

Maybe it's just me, but the guy coaching the kid pumping up his prediction that Jimmy Claussen would be the LeBron James of football as accurate kind of makes me doubt his predictive powers a bit, not to mention his grip on reality.

http://vmedia.rivals.com/uploads/995/F781328.jpg David Sills at USC Spring Practice. How are the Berry Twins doing? They should be in 10TH Grade. What ever happen to Cody Paul? The Youtube Sensation, he should be in High School by now.

Rivals.com announced their top 100 players for the 2015 class, the #1 player on their list is Trenton Thompson, a DT from Albany Georgia. There doesn't appear to be a unanimous #1 for 2015. 24/7 has DE Cameron Kaumatule #1 in their rankings, OT Mitch Hyatt #1 in their composite rankings, and Scout has DT Tim Settle #1 in their rankings.

Michigan has two of the top seven prospects for the 2015 class, however I don't know how solid those commitments will stay with the current state of the program.

Also Rivals is the only service that has Josh Rosen ranked ahead of Ricky Town, they have Rosen as the #2 overall prospect.

Derwin James' ranking is pathetic.

Notre Dame got a commitment from 4 star offensive guard Tristen Hoge from Idaho. Hoge had a pretty nice offer list, especially for someone from Idaho.

EDIT: He's Merril Hoge's nephew.

The Rivals top 250 came out yesterday. Rutgers has PA 4* RB Saquon Barkley already verballed.

According to 247 he is a composite 3* right now (http://247sports.com/Player/David-Sills-16398). At this point in the evaluation process his previous hype would only push him up the boards if there was substance to back it up. I think he just became the cautionary tale in not offering scholarships to kids before they hit puberty.

eh, it's still REALLY early, probably too soon to get a good grasp on rankings yet anywhere. too many variables.
