So what did we think? I like the Megan Fox one, the Doritos one with the guy dressed up in Doritos armor, and a couple I can't remember right now. Help me out gaiz.

They were pretty bad this year.

Yeah, not one really stuck out. I thought they all blew. The etrade one with the baby and the milkaholic girl got me though.

The Unseen

Yeah, overall they were disappointing. Bud Light failed big time with their annual 213805027395820 commercials this year.

yeah no commercials stuck out to me really. the doritos kid, the milkaholic, and the budweiser bridge were probably the top 3. but thats not saying much, kind of like being the top three senior quarterbacks in this years draft...

Dave Letterman allowing Leno onto a couch next to hime was ****ing shameful. Here's the commmercial and an article about it.

Apparently is was Dave's idea...Ugh.

The only one I really liked was the Doritos little kid one. It's the only one I genuinely laughed at.

I thought the first Bud Light one with T-Pain was going to amount to more, but it really failed.

Speaking of that, I just have to laugh at all the money Budweiser has to waste on commercials for the Super Bowl. I mean sure, some eventually are funny, but do they really think they are reaching some new audience to drink their beer?

If they feel like wasting money just for entertainment, ****, hire me and I'll waste the **** out of your money.

Also, about the halftime show....

I love the Who and all, but I wasn't entertained by them at all. It's time for whoever/whomever(?) chooses the halftime acts to break away from the 60 year old rockers and try something different.

They all sucked. The Polamalu one was the best, but meh. Halftime was also meh. They need to get some damn musical artists in their prime.

They pick the old rockers because they are pretty sure that Roger Daltry isn't going to show America his nipple.

I really hope that they get someone that is under 50 next year.

I thought that the commercials this year were pretty solid. I laughed at a handful of them. It seems from the comments in this thread that there were a variety of favorites, so I wouldnt call the commercials this year a fail.

The majority of the people that have the money to go to the Super Bowl and enjoy the act are people that are older and would like to see The Who, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, and Tom Petty.

The majority of the people taking in the Super Bowl are not actually at the stadium, though so that doesn't really matter.

It's #1 on the list to entertain people that paid the premium to watch the game.

The NFL doesnt get that money. CBS gets the money from all the commercials and stuff like that. I watched the game for free while some people paid thousands of dollars per ticket to go.

Eh, agree to disagree I guess. I definitely see it as more for the TV viewing audience. That's why they advertise it and televise it instead of just showing 12 more minutes of commercials like other games at halftime.

Voodoo is right, but not for the right reason. It was because of the Janet Jackson boob thing (which was on CBS BTW,) that we have had McCartney, U2, Springsteen, Rolling Stones, Prince, and Tom Petty the past few years.

And the last few years most people do what they need to do at halftime to get away from it. Is that how the Who has always sounded?

My vote goes to the Sir Charles/Taco Bell commercial that sounded like Dr. Seuss wrote the script.

Tied with the Letterman & Leno on Oprah's couch for worst commercial, have you ever seen more carefully crafted public image faux posturing on that couch? Not since Tom Cruise jumped up & down on it ranting his phony heterosexuality to the world.

The sportsfan public should take note of what a bloated, loudmouth egomaniac full of himself a-hole Barkley has become & censure him accordingly.

The human bridge Budweiser one sucked too. Then again all the Bud commercials have sucked the last decade or so, much like their awful beer.

Speaking of gayness, did anyone else notice the back to back commercials of pantsless men in thier jockey shorts ? So disturbing......
