Round 1

1. St. Louis (1-15) Ndamukong Suh - I think they will sign Vick or Campbell for a year. Focus on building an elite defense
.
2. Detroit (2-14) Gerald McCoy- They need to protect Stafford but McCoy is to hard to pass up

3. Tampa Bay (3-13)- Dez Bryant- Freeman needs someone to throw to

4. Washington (4-12)- Russell Okung- Itís my mock draft and I say they start Colt Brennan next year

5. Kansas City (4-12) Anthony Davis- Protect your investment

6. Seattle (5-11) Jimmy Clausen- Carroll finally gets Clausen on his side

7. Cleveland (5-11) Sergio Kindle- Getting to the QB will cover how bad their secondary is

8. Oakland (5-11) Jason Pierre-Paul- Al Davis would draft Usain Bolt if he could

9. Buffalo (6-10) Brian Bulaga- Looking at a top 5 draft pick next year

10. Jacksonville (7-9) Derrick Morgan- To win the south get to Manning

11 Denver (from Chicago 7-9) Rolando McClain- First huge steal defense is in for hard times without Mike Nolan

12. Miami (7-9) Arrelious Benn- Get somebody who can catch a ball

13. San Francisco (8-8) Eric Berry- Safety isnít a big impact position San Fran gladly takes him

15. New York Giants (8-8) Joe Haden- Defense needs to stay in championship form

16. Tennessee (8-8) Everson Griffin- See Jacksonville

17. San Francisco (from Carolina 8-8) Mike Iupati- Keep Smith standing up

19. Atlanta (9-7) Sean Weatherspoon- Best defensive player available

20. Houston (9-7) Earl Thomas- See Tennessee

22. New England (10-6) Brandon Graham- Rebuilding a once scary defense

23. Green Bay (11-5) Mike Iupati- Their line got penetrated like a college **** every weekend

24. Philadelphia (11-5) Dan Williams- Didnít know where to go with them

25. Baltimore (9-7) Golden Tate- Mason could retire again giving them no reliable recievers

26. Arizona (10-6) Jermaine Gresham- Leinart sucks maybe Gresham can help mask that. Possibly look at Bradford?

27. Dallas (11-5) Jason Fox- Great pass protector for a potentially lethal offense

28. San Diego (13-3) Toby Gehrhart- LT has lost it

29. New York Jets (9-7) Jerry Hughes- Hard to believe they would draft defense but they need to get to the QB

30. Minnesota (12-4) Sam Bradford- They take him with or without Favre

Why the heck would Tampa Bay select two safeties in the 2nd round?

They need defensive linemen and a cornerback is a bigger need than a safety.

Jared Odrick, Geno Atkins, Lamarr Houston, Tyson Alualu, Kyle Wilson, Perrish Cox and Donovan Warren would all be better selections than Nate Allen and Chad Jones.

Solid mock. We don't need a CB, give us Ducasse or Gilyard instead.

At this still early stage I don't necessarily like saying players are reaches but there are a few surprises. It's the highest I've seen Kindle in a while and Benn is a riser for sure in this mock.

With the NFL now definitely a passing league I would bet my left ball that unless they are arrested for drug tafficking or something neither Eric Berry nor Joe Haden will fall that far.

I also fail to see how anyone can have Toby Gerhart as a first rounder. He just doesn't have the skillset of a high round RB.

Nice Patriots first, dubious second. We need o-line and more linebacker help

B.Graham is nice in the 1st but the 2nd needs to be re-looked at
TE is a deep position in this draft so we can address that later

Graham OLB, C.Wooten DE, V.Ducasse OG and K.Wilson CB would be better
K.Wilson depends solely on what the Pats do with L.Bodden. If he isn't resigned then I can see us taking a CB early
If L.Bodden is resigned then a big WR like D.Thomas from GT would be ideal

Not a very good KC draft. Offensive Tackle is a lazy pick to KC. Our real trouble spots on the offensive line are interior. The fifth overall pick absolutely has to be McClain or Berry. A better KC draft would be:

1 Rolando McClain
2a Chad Jones
2b Vladimir Ducasse

6. Seattle (5-11) Jimmy Clausen- Carroll finally gets Clausen on his side
14. Seattle (from Denver 8-8) Trent Williams- Hasselback got banged up don’t let the same happen to your QB of the future
8. Seattle- Jared Odrick

Don't like Clausen in the Top 10, give us Berry there. At least he's an impact player.

Williams is a RT, and we already have a good one of those in Locklear. We need a LT (where Locklear played this year).

I don't mind Odrick, but I'd prefer a pass rusher or playmaker on offense there.

Horriable Bengals Mock

We will not draft a RB with so many on roster already

Alexander has too many injury concerns to be a 2nd round pick

Iupati is a tarrible pick here first we don't need a gaurd as bad as a tackle. Sccond, in the seinor bowl, he held on about every play. I'd like Bruce Campbell here.

Uhh good job on the second round, not even putting in positions or schools!

Good, but unrealistic first pick. Bad second pick.

For the Vikings by the way.

I noticed that Seattle and Miami are drafting the same player in the second round. As for the Saints draft, meh!

Wow, if we took Benn with Eric Berry still on the board, I would cry, for real. Sad, sad tears. :(

Well..i suppose if Berry fell to the Niners I wouldnt have a problem with that pick :) wont happen though

Derrick Morgan would go over Kindle and I can't see Berry and Haden falling that far. Also Gerhart isn't a first round player. While I do like Dan Williams, we are not taking him. Carlos Dunlap would be the obvious pick in that situation. We could also look at Nate Allen, Perrish Cox, or Kyle Wilson

Excellent first Vikings pick, not so much for the 2nd. S is a much bigger need.

Solid mock. We don't need a CB, give us Ducasse or Gilyard instead.

I was thinking both. Screw HB & CB. We'll sign another vet at both positions - resign Bodden at CB, woo Chester Taylor or Thomas Jones, or even stick with Springs, Fred Taylor & Sammy Morris instead of cutting them.

you have Iupati going twice in the first round

and Odrick going twice in the second.

Round 1

7. Cleveland (5-11) Sergio Kindle- Getting to the QB will cover how bad their secondary is

We had 40 sacks last season and our secondary was still crappy. If Berry falls to 7, he's wearing orange and brown

13. San Francisco (8-8) Eric Berry- Safety isnít a big impact position San Fran gladly takes him

Ask Pittsburgh how bad it hurt to have an impact Safety injured the majority of the season. Safety is a impact position. But Berry don't make it past 7.

Round 2

6. Cleveland- Patrick Robinson- good pick. If we happen to land Berry in the first, we can take a later round CB. We need help at RT, RG, DE, TE. The players below would also make good choices for our needs.
7. Oakland- Bruce Campbell
8. Seattle- Jared Odrick

11. Miami Jared Odrick Cloning is illegal. If it wasn't every first round pick would be Suh
12. New England - from Jacksonville- Rob Gronkowski
13. Denver- Corey Wootton
23. Philadelphia- Vladmir Ducasse

C grade. 1st pick is terrible. 2nd pick is good.

Spectre
02-11-2010, 09:22 PM
There is no way in hell that the Browns will pass up Berry if he falls to us. We've already targeted the secondary as an area we need to improve, the front office has a history of drafting secondary players early and we've already had scouts out multiple times to watch Berry. If he's there, he's the pick.

Your rankings are odd, but I could see them being somewhat like this after the combine, like Benn.

Good Jets picks.
