First 3 round mock this year, had a little trouble but think I did alright.

Round 1
1 St Louis Rams- Ndamukong Suh DT Nebraska
Right now Clausen and Bradford arent worthy of the #1 pick, so the obvious choice is Suh. At 6'4 300lbs he adds a great DT that can rush the QB and play the run well. Suh is by far the #1 prospect in this draft IMO and adding him to this defense is going to help right off the bat.

2 Detroit Lions- Gerald McCoy DT Oklahoma
This pick is a lock for a DT IMO. Jim Schwartz knows how important it is having a impact DT from his days in Tennessee and adding McCoy will give him the impact player he is looking for. At 6'4 295lbs, McCoy fits into the UT role and will make his biggest impact on rushing the passer.

3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Dez Bryant WR Oklahoma State
Tampa is in a tricky situation here since DT is the biggest need, but Suh and McCoy are gone. Some may say Eric Berry should be the pick, but Im going Bryant here. Josh Freeman showed some promise last year and adding a stud WR will only help. Bryant has the size, speed and hands you look for.

4 Washington Redskins- Jimmy Clausen QB Notre Dame
From the rumors Ive been hearing, Mike Shanahan is excited to come into Washington and draft his QB. So will "his QB" be Clausen or Bradford? Im going Clausen here since he compares to former Shanahan pick Jay Cutler. Clausen at 6'3 223lbs has good size, strong arm and the ability to roll out of the pocket.

5 Kansas City Chiefs- Eric Berry DB Tennessee
The Chiefs really need to help out their defense here. Adding Tyson Jackson was a step in the right direction, and now they need to add a playmaker in the secondary. Eric Berry has the ability to play every position in the secondary, and if he gets the ball in his hands, expect 6 points.

6 Seattle Seahawks- Anthony Davis OT Rutgers
This pick may surprise some, but I see Davis having a very strong combine and will over take Okung at the top OT in the draft. With Walter Jones retiring, LT is a huge need and adding a huge man should fill the hole. At 6'6 325lbs, Davis you will surprise you with his athleticism and is the most natural LT in this draft

7 Cleveland Browns- Joe Haden CB Florida
Its well known that if you saw a Browns game last year, you know that the secondary is... well horrible. Not many CB's go in the top 10, but Haden is one of the exceptions. At 5'11 190lbs, Haden is a do it all CB, being able to shut down your WR and also not being afraid to make tackles.

8 Oakland Raiders- Jason Pierre-Paul DE USF
As a Raiders fan, Id love for this pick to go OT or DT, but in all reality we all know that a freak athlete will be picked. So some automaticly think Taylor Mays, but if you look at Al's draft history he always drafts for need even if it might be the wrong player. JPP is shooting up the boards and at 6'6 260lbs he fits the type of prospect Al would draft

9 Buffalo Bills- Sam Bradford QB Oklahoma
With a new coach coming in, and no franchise QB on the current roster, I expect this pick to be a QB. Im not as high on Bradford as other, but I still think he can end up being a legit starting QB. Coming off a serious shoulder injury, Bradford might not be able to throw at the combine but from his tape you see a top 10 pick.

10 Denver Broncos(f/CHI)- Rolando McClain LB Alabama
The Broncos started off hot and alot of people jumped on the band wagon. Well the wheels fell off and it was clear that upgrades were needed on defense. McClain will step in from day 1 as not only a pro bowl caliber LB, but a true leader on defense. At 6'4 258lbs he has great size and speed.

11 Jacksonville Jaguars- Derrick Morgan DE Georgia Tech

12 Miami Dolphins- Brandon Graham DE/OLB Michigan
13 San Francisco 49ers- Russell Okung OT Oklahoma State

No to Shipley. We dont need another guy who will be a slot type. We need a big play guy. Mardy.
If he ends up in NE Ill be pissed beyond all hell.

So what WR fits that mold in your opinion in the 3rd?

I'll take that draft.

I could see Dunlap. Don't know if he would be a DE or DT in our scheme though.

None that are available if thats how the draft shakes out. Lamarr Houston would be my next choice.

Nice Pats mock. I love Gilyard but he's too similiar to B.Tate who we drafted last year
I'd prefer us take J.Hughes (our pass rush really really sucked!), D.Thomas (Big WR next to Moss and Welker/Edelman) or an OL

I can't imagine Jonathan Dwyer falling out of the second round. He is a late first to mid second round grade.

In that scenario, I'd prefer a draft of Weatherspoon, Hardy and McCluster for the Phins.

Don't be so surprised when people start jumping on Shipleys bandwagon after the combine..
And oh, btw, he's just as much of a big play threat, if not more, than Gilyard.
Shipley > Lafell > Damian Williams
Even Scott Wright himself underrates Shipley too much.
I'd love Baltimore to grab him at #25.

39 Oakland Raiders- Bruce Campbell OT Maryland

What rumors are you hearing and from who? Source please. To compare Clausen to Cutler is laughable. To call Clausens arm "strong" in comparison to Cutler is more laughable. To call Clausen a mobile qb is even more laughable.

Browns cool in rd 2 but I have a very hard time thinking wed take him over Bruce Campbell.

Switch Gresham with Benn in the 1st

Keep Burnett

Switch Shipley with Gronkowski in 3rd

There is a good Bengals Mock

Ive heard from redskin websites that its rumored that Shanahan wants to bring in his type of QB through the draft(doesnt have to be a 1st round but if Bradford or Clausen are there you should take one). IDK why its laughable to you, I see alot of Cutler in Clausen. Same body type, same swagger ect. Im not saying Clausen has an elite arm but his arm is above average. Clausen is pretty athletic from the games Ive seen of him

Brown is a better fit in the ZBS that Shanahan is bringing it.

McCourtney to the Saints is a pretty bad pick. If we get a CB itll be a late round pick. In your giving mock, give us Bowman, Selvie, heck even Tebow before him. I am fine with the first and 3rd picks though.

Ya....

That's a dream 49er draft :)

Not a fan of the Bears pick. Another mid round WR added to the roster isn't going to do much.....I don't see any of Hester, Knox, Aromashadu, Bennett or Iglesias being cut for yet another new, youngster.

Interior o-line help would be the ideal.

Ok Denver draft, though I don't think we can afford to wait until the 4th round to address the OL.

This may be the best Vikings draft I've ever seen.

I like the Niners draft overall-- no complaints on the first three picks. I do think, though, that if we've already covered our KR/PR (Spiller) and added some help to the secondary (Allen) that it would be unlikely we'd pick Arenas in the 3rd. I'd think about either an OG like Asomoah or Johnson, or maybe a pass rusher... Koa Misi perhaps. A slot receiver with some speed (McCluster?) might also make sense.

Excellent Patriots mock imo! I used to be a bit down on Gilyard, but after watching a bit more of him I'm starting to like him. As for him being a lot like B. Tate - that's not a bad thing! :)

If I were to complain about anything, it would be that I'd rather have Donovan Warren, Ricky Sapp or Alex Carrington instead of Wootton. But that doesn't change the fact that you must be partially a Patriots fan to give us those players. :D

Very good Vikings mock. None of the picks are great value, but all are good value and fill big needs.

That is a beautiful Ravens draft. Would like to see an interior pass-rusher somewhere in the top 3 rounds, but I can't argue with any of the picks.

In your scenario, a cornerback, safety and another defensive lineman would all be needs before a runningback, so I definitely don't like the Buccaneer's third round selection.

9 Buffalo Bills- Sam Bradford QB Oklahoma
10 Denver Broncos(f/CHI)- Rolando McClain LB Alabama
13 San Francisco 49ers- Russell Okung OT Oklahoma State

41 Buffalo Bills- Jared Veldheer OT Hillsdale
42 New England Patriots(f/JAC)- Brandon Spikes LB Florida
51 Kansas City Chiefs(f/ATL)- Jerry Hughes DE/OLB TCU
53 New England Patriots(f/TEN)- Corey Wooton DE Northwestern
56 Green Bay Packers- Eric Norwood OLB South Carolina
58 Arizona Cardinals- Ricky Sapp DE/OLB Clemson
59 Dallas Cowboys- Alex Carrington DE Arkansas State

72 Buffalo Bills- Sean Lee LB Penn State

Personally I am not a fan of passing on Okung for Bradford (arm strength and Buffalo weather is not a good combination) or Bradford to the Bills, although the position is certainly a need. And McClain would fit into the new 3-4 perfectly next to Pozluszny IMO. I would take Okung then McClain over Bradford, although your thoughts on the pick were certainly solid.
In the second although I like Veldheer as a prospect (not sure about early second yet), I like all the prospects listed afterward more, especially as fits into the 3-4 defense.
Sean Lee in the third is not a good fit for me in regards to the 3-4, need a bigger "thumper" type, and not sure he would fit the pass rusher mold needed on the outside.
Overall I thought it was a good mock as a whole, and having the balls to put Bryant 3rd overall in this scenerio makes more sense than most think, and your reasoning is solid, although I would personally still go with Berry in that situation. + rep for the overall effort!!

i suppose im ok with that fins mock, although i'd prefer kindle to graham and i dont really think Asante fits what we need.

I'd prolly go Kindle, Nate Allen, Eric Decker in that scenario.
