Don't think Dez Bryant would help that team all that much
Have to be an absolute stud wideout to get drafted top 10 IMO - those teams usually need to build the trenches or get a franchise signal caller - QB, front 7, OT, or straight up stud too good to pass up
That's what I think though. Lots of people (including GMs) would disagree I'm sure.

1.14 - Seahawks - Bruce Campbell. (1)

A lot of variance in Campbell's stock, and IMO this is higher than I would pull the trigger by about 15-20, but Campbell can be a legit LT if he checks medically and can be coached up. Not a lot of experience, but could have huge upside. Trent Williams is RT only, IMO.

Also considered Spiller here, as I think he would add a much needed spark.

Williams isn't a great fit in the zone blocking scheme plus Williams really struggled at LT this season so why would the Seahawks draft him? They need a LT not a RT. Alright Bruce Campbell is the pick for the Seahawks.

Lets go ahead and move onto the Giants.

The Giants need a safety or a defensive tackle IMO and the most worthy on the board is Brian Price IMO.

Brian Price (1)
-The Giants struggled getting any kind of pass rush from the tackle and they had BIG trouble stuffing the run up the middle as well. Brian Price is an athletic UT who can rush the passer and he is a stout body that can hold his ground in the run game. He will go much higher than people expect him to IMO and the Giants are a perfect fit in my mind.

Just a quick note on Earl Thomas, his tackling is below average at best, he is small and doesn't have proper fundamentals. Many actually have him moving back to CB and he says he would like to move there because he is a "corner at heart".

I think he'd fit really well at NT with Brown and Haye splitting time at UT. Sen'derrick Marks would back Williams up and their defensive tackle rotation would be set. 1.17 - 49ers - Mike Iupati

Niners have the chance to upgrade their OL in a major way with Bulaga and Iupati. Iupati is a mauler who would open huge running lanes, although he's a bit raw in his technique right now.

CB looks like a good R2 value and area of need, although Earl Thomas as CB could be an option. However, the disparity between Iupati and a R2 guard is greater than that between Thomas (as CB) and several R2 corners, IMO.

1.18 - Steelers - FS Earl Thomas (2)

My Steelers board includes Thomas and Dan Williams as top choices. There are some FS and NT who can be gotten in R2, but Thomas is a playmaker centerfielder. Current FS Ryan Clark is usually solid, but was exposed badly when Polamalu was out. Concerns about Thomas's size don't bother me -- he's about the same size as Clark. He needs to do a better job of tackling as Steelers safeties are always in on stopping the run.

Steelers are looking into giving Clark an extension, but I have no problem with him transitioning to backup and being in on nickel or dime.

Don't like the Iupati pick, as the Steelers have Urbik and Foster from last year's draft, and if the new line coach sees Colon as a better fit inside we could draft a RT in a value round and have a real logjam at OG.

Trent Williams is RT only, and while he's very good there, and moving Colon inside would be a nice fit, IMO it's a bad value with some RTs to be had R3-4.

In the best of all worlds, Steelers would trade back about 7-8 spots, add a R3 pick, take C Maurkice Pouncey, add a FS in R2 (Allen or Burnett), add a RT in R3 (Calloway or Saffold), use the other R3 to pick up a CB (Spievey or Akwasi Owusu-Ansah) OR a NT (Cam Thomas, doubtful he's there, or Torrell Troup). If NT in R3, look for a value CB like Walter Thurmond. If CB in R3 and Troup and Thomas are off, perhaps look for value ILB (Micah Johnson, or if AJ Edds is there move him inside).

Still say Iupati makes little sense here. Steelers just took an OG in R3 last year and got some decent play from UDFA Ramon Foster. Iupati looks over-rated based on getting trucked at the Senior Bowl. Just don't see the value, frankly.

Falcons have Thomas DeCoud, they really don't need Earl Thomas. The problem with the Falcons is their defense struggles to get pressure on the QB, they've got John Abraham who can rush the passer really well at this point, Sidbury is a decent player with potential and Jamaal Anderson is a waste of space. The Falcons need a guy who can come in right away and get pressure on the QB.

That guy in my mind is Brandon Graham, so Brandon Graham (1)

Their secondary is lacking, and Thomas can line up at safety, corner, or nickel.

I agree they need a pass rusher, but I think Thomas will carry more value to them.

I agree they need a pass rusher, but I think Thomas will carry more value to them.

Problem is that their secondary is at least serviceable at this point and they're on track to be better, they've got some nice young corners, Thomas DeCoud at FS who is their best secondary player at this point and they've got William Moore developing at SS. So Earl Thomas would have to move to CB if he wants to play on the Falcons and he isn't polished and wouldn't provide value at CB right away, his technique has a long way to go.

Also a good pass rush can help hide some deficiencies in the secondary, the Giants were evidence of that, the Vikings are evidence of that, the Chargers were at one point an example of that (Cro was MUCH better when Merriman was on top of his game) and the Cowboys are a good example of that (that defense was struggling until Ware and Ratliff turned up the heat).

Well, let's see... no Thomas, no Graham, no Price, no Iupati, no Mays, and I'm not selecting Gresham, and the team seems to be really high on Coffman. So...

Cincinnati trades down.:)

Or they should. I'd like to take Golden Tate but I'd like to see us get more of a possession type of receiver. Benn I'm not a fan of. Who in the world do we pick? I'm really looking at Everson Griffen or C.J. Spiller here.

No. Gilyard is the #3 WR in this draft, and there's word that the Bengals are high on their home boy. And they need a WR, so...

It makes a lot of sense.

Makes 0 sense. He's a late 2nd-late 3rd value who's going to fall thanks to today.

Scott? Eh. He's decent, but easily replaceable. Spiller would be much better than Leonard/Scott, and excellent value. Sometimes you just have to go BPA.

No way on earth do the Bengals go RB in the 1st. They like Scott a lot, and he performed when he filled in last year.

They desperately need a receiving threat for Carson Palmer. I have to think they take a WR (Thomas, Benn) or one of the TEs (Gresham, Gronkowski)
