For the Pats Aaron Ross is probably the better pick over McCauley. David Harris is a reach, but ILB is a top need and he looks like a solid prospect as a 3-4 ILB.

I disagree. McCauley is in the mold of Asante Samuel. Ross would fit better on the Saints.

Bengals cannot take a TE early and we don't need one that bad anyway.
Poz or Revis are good picks in that spot.

I don't know, McCauley is a physical specimen and Samuel is athletic, but he is by no means . Measurables-wise, McCauley has about 15-20 pounds, 2 inches, and Samuel ran a 4.6 at his combine. McCauley looked weak in coverage this season, and that is Asante's strength. McCauley has the average on run support, but it was another area he dissappointed in during 2006 (poor tackling).
I think Ross should go before McCauley because he was aruguably the best corner in the country this season, and he has solid measurables to go along with it. If they were both available for the Pats I would want Ross, but Fresno is a pipeline school for us so McCauley could happen.

From now on, I refuse to say anything about mock drafts that have the Jaguars picking a nickel corner in the first round except this:
It doesn't make sense. It really doesn't.

Blalock is so good I wouldn't mind the Saints drafting him with Ross on the board. I wouldn't be mad at all.

Houston fits Atlanta's system. I know it's a stretch, but his stock will shoot up because of his numbers.

Horrible pick for the World Champs!!! Give them either Tank Tyler, Jon Beason, or they will trade down.
