Berry falls to #10, JPP to #18, Bryant to #25

This is a terrible mock - but then again the Bucs get McCoy.

started out pretty good but got worse as it went on. A lot of reaches and picks that don't really match up with biggest need or bpa.

if brandon graham and weatherspoon were on the board and steelers went robinson i would be pissed and I'm a florida state fan.

very good work and I like the 9ers picks , we need help in those areas badly . I would like to see Haden come to SF but Taylor Maes will do just fine .

kirwans mock made heads explode nations wide

here's my prediction Jared Odrick would not start on the Jets defense... he'd be a rotational player with Pouha, Devito and others (Pitoitua? Kroul?). Ellis went to the pro bowl a month ago and Jenkins is coming back.

they have no cornerbacks besides revis. need another Wr bad. need another running back. I would be kinda surprised to see that pick of DL happen.

So wait, the Packers have decent LGs options in Colledge and Lang, and decent RG options in Sitton and Spitz, and they draft Iupati instead of the OT that they need? Weird.

Iupati can play OT.

Iupati can play OT.

If the Senior Bowl practices are any indication, not effectively.

From what I can tell, Iupati can play LT like Mays can play MLB... in theory? Sure, but it will be a major rebuilding project. One which I doubt the Packers coaching staff is capable of.

We all need some perspective. Compare this to Bucky Brook's mocks and Kirwin looks like the nation's preeminent draft expert.

Exactly Iupati is a LT, Mays is a mlb and Tebow is the best H back ever

I think Williams to Denver at #12 is very realistic, but haven't seen that in a lot of mocks. Williams and Odrick will move up as the draft gets nearer.

Bryant, JPP and Campbell falling that far is just foolish.

If JPP, is still available at that spot, I have a dificult time believing the Eagles would not trade up, to grab him.

If Earl Thomas, Brandon Graham, and Taylor Mays are all off the board @ #24, I highly approve of the Sean Weatherspoon selection.

As an Eagles fan I would be happy with the way this mock has the draft panning out.

Saying the Bengals would pass on Bryant for Golden Tate is ridiculous

Bengalsrocket
03-02-2010, 11:23 PM
I wouldn't cry if the Bengals took Golden Tate. I think he can be a special player for whatever team does actually end up with him. However, passing on Dez Bryant for Golden Tate seems like a big mistake, especially for a franchise that has shown time and time again they don't really care about the "baggage" attached to a player.

I would like weathy, too. The only problem, Eagles dont draft LB's in the first round.

I'm not sure I buy it, but if Campbell lasts until 27 and Jerry finally goes O-Line in round one, I wouldnt be complaining.

I actually don't see the problem with him being part of a rotation, but in any case, we could go in several different ways. As long as it's among DL, OLB, CB, WR, or possibly Safety (if Rhodes is traded), we really can't go wrong, so long as we find a way to address the majority of our needs (and DL is one of them).

I doubt Al Davis would draft Anthony Davis. If he can draft DHB and leave Michael Crabtree on the board, he can draft Bruce Campbell and leave Davis. Actually the DHB over Crabtree pick would be more outrageous to me.

I just had an argument in the Ravens forums about how it could very well happen and nobody believed me. Thank you Pat Kirwan

Russell Okung > Trent Williams > Bruce Campbell > Anthony Davis
-Raiders won't go OT in the 1st, that'd be too smart for them..
Taylor Mays or JPP will be the raiders pick, 100%, remember this.

I heard he interviewed horribly and a lot of team don't want to deal with headaches add to the fact that WR's are a lesser value in round 1 each year I could see him drop

Get used to it, Bulaga has a connection Pioli=Frenz, plus taking an OT would improve 2 positions which adds to the value. I dont think Okung will last till 5 and Haley hates lazy overweight players so scratch Davis off, that leaves Williams and Bulaga

Bulaga is a good tackle, but not a NUMBER 5 draft pick tackle. Maybe mid-late first round. Kirwan also has C.J. Spiller to the Seachickens at # 14. Would be great for them if they could pull it off.

Kirwan has the Vikings taking a 3-tech DT, and mentions that they could sign Dunta Robison even though they fall under the "Final 4" FA rules.

Why does he (and others) project the Vikes to replace Pat with an UT in Brian Price? You don't move an All-Pro UT in Kevin and Price doesn't seem to be the type that can play the NT in a 4-3. I don't see him as a fit at all.

For the Bengals (I follow them cuz my buddy is a huge fan):
When has Cinci ever passed on a guy due to locker room concerns? They'd snatch up Bryant in a second.

TheMatriculator

I don't care if Brian Bulaga is Kirk Ferentz's love child, friendship is no reason to draft anyone #5 overall.
