Outstanding Patriots draft. Four defensive guys in a row at four "need" spots. I would be really happy with that.

I really like the Patriots draft but if that works out that way I would be screaming to trade 22 and next years first from Oakland to Seattle for Richard Seymour...sorry Ndamukong Suh

Meh on the Cardinals draft.
I don't see Dunlap as a good fit at either 3-4 DE or OLB. More likely DE I guess but that is one of the few positions where we are set.
Burnett I guess is alright as a replacement for Rolle but we spent a 3rd rounder on Johnson to do that last year so he will probably get a shot first (along with a vet FA). Wouldn't mind Cam Thomas there.

Odrick is more a 3-4 DE, but the guy Id want there (Cody) is a NT so I can't really say much. And who is Chris Cook?

Chris Cook is a CB that blew up the combine

And what is your reasoning to give us a CB with our second round pick? Even if Jenkins goes to FS we still have Ga y and we would be spending a 2nd round on a 4th corner? Especially since we released Grant and need a starting caliber DE?

And yet, I love that Bengals draft. :D

Gresham is a good pick in the first, but a guard in the second? A guard? Haha no, we are neither starter nor depth needy at the position.

We have no need for a cornerback after we took two in the first 2 rounds last yeat, so Haden is not a good Miami pick at all. Give us Kindle, Earl Thomas, or Gresham there instead.
And Cody is a great pick in the 2nd!

Yeah I was doing the mock yesterday with Rolando McClain as the pick then heard about Dansby and was too lazy to change all the picks. Will change next mock.

I absolutely LOVE that Seattle draft. Suh = epic win. Who cares about the rest of the draft after that.
Those other picks are solid though so there is really nothing wrong with it.

Russell Okung and Eric Berry both being off the board is my biggest fear for the Chiefs, I really hope they can trade down if that happens.

Oakland drafts for need. Safety is not a need.

Wow, if Seattle had first and second overall thats probably who I'd pick so for them to fall to us at 7 and 14, I love it.

Many people think this
People are going off useless speculation from Mayock (I think that's who).
1. Would an upgrade at LT be nice? Yeah, sure. Is it needed considering how terrible the team is currently? Not in the slightest. The line looked bad at the start as they were all adjusting to a new blocking scheme and a partna that was cakn it was averaging a lovely 2.7 YPC. The line looked a hell lot better when a real RB finally got in the back field.
-The real critical areas that need to be hit are at Center and the right side of the line. This has been said over and over again.
2. Bulaga is not a top 5 talent.
3. Mayock doesn't have a clue.
4. There's elite talent that can be had at that point that would directly fill a need.
5. Snyder has wanted a new face of the franchise for years. Shanahan will not pass on the chance to get one. The Redskins are gonna draft a QB, I guarantee it. Feel free to quote me on this.

Move Clausen to the Redskins at 4, Berry to the Chiefs at 5 and Bulaga to the Seahawks at 14 and your mock will look better.
-The Redskins move has already been explained.
-Safety is a gigantic need for the Chiefs and Berry is definitely worth taking at 5
-The Seahawks absolutely must get a replacement for Walter Jones. Well overdue.

That WOULD work if I had any inclining that the skins would take clausen. but since I don't berry stays and you need a new argument

Uh, feel free to explain why the Redskins would not take Clausen. They aren't going to mortgage anymore time with Campbell as the QB.

1. JC does not fit the scheme
2. He isn't a top 10 let alone 5 talent.
3. MS waited years even after elway to get his guy at QB.

I like it. Personally, I'd rather give the Pryor / Brace / Wright combo a chance to fill that DE spot left vacant by the Seymour trade. So maybe Pouncey instead of Wootton. Or, if Bodden stays in NE we could go Gronkowski there and grab Saffold @ 53.
********
It's crazy to think that DT will be picked at 1 and 2. Props to you, Broth, for actually mocking something other than DT/DT or QB/DT/DT. To that end . . .
I really like the Patriots draft but if that works out that way I would be screaming to trade 22 and next years first from Oakland to Seattle for Richard Seymour...sorry Ndamukong Suh
I was thinking the same damn thing.
Suh would make it easy to say "**** the Pryor / Brace / Wright combo!" lol
