Good R1 pick but i am not a fan or the rest. We need to go for a WR in R2 then a ILB in R3

Patrick Willis would be an ILB.

What WR do you expect them to take in the second?

No way would Hughes be able to play on our defense. He doesn't have the speed for what we require of our corners.
Two reaches? The Ravens rarely reach, and I hate Staley in the first, see below. Making it even worse is that Timmons is there. A dream draft for the Ravens would be Timmons and Marten.

Revis and Buster Davis are good round 1 picks for NE, but for the 3rd rounder, Beekman isn't really needed. With Tony Hunt still available he is a possibility as a compliment to Maroney, or we could go DB again.

You really think they'd ignore the defense through the entire first day of the draft?

Give the ravens Ray McDonald or Josh Wilson in the 2nd

The Ravens would pick Jarvis Moss in Round 1.

We'd pick Hughes/Wilson in R2.

BAD RAVENS PICKS! Bad mock.

TRUST ME! Denver will not take a center with their first pick!! It will defniately be a D-lineman with a slight chance of maybe a safety

Lets see, go Merriweather for the pack in the 2nd, and Patrick in the 3rd, and it could be alright

I hope you know your own needs. Jarrett Johnson was re-signed for a reason.

Don't say bad Ravens picks AND bad mock because Baltimore didn't go the way you wanted them to go. If you think it's a bad mock, tell me why, but this isn't a Ravens mock, its an NFL one.

Not complaining about the Giants draft, its a goodie. But if it were me, I'd rather take Houston round 1 and jump all over Beason in round 2. That'd be ideal for me but great job none the less.

GaMeTiMe
03-14-2007, 09:34 PM
Houston and Beason would be great for the Giants no doubt. However dispite the tweaked ACL no one is sure about how far Beason will fall, so I'm not sure if the Giants will want to wait on their need at linebacker and risk him not being there in round two.

11) San Francisco 49ers – Patrick Willis | Inside Linebacker | Ole Miss
42) San Francisco 49ers – Arron Sears | Offensive Guard | Tennessee
76) San Francisco 49ers – Steve Smith | Wide Receiver | Southern Cal.

I like the Willis pick, but:

*Nolan likes tall WRs and Smith is on the short side of 6'. Now I'm not saying Smith is out of the picture, but I can see him going after other options like Craig Davis or Paul Williams.
*If Sears is projected to be a guard he's a wasted pick. We still have Larry Allen, David Baas, Justin Smiley and backup Tony Wragge who did very, very well filling in for injured starters last season. If anything, we need OT but that'd be on day 2.
*No DL on day 1? That's virtually impossible. 3-4 DE is among our top needs.

are for real ? did you ever re-read your saints mock ? when that is your serious reply , than you are in trouble.

The Eagles would probably go DE with Jarvis Moss or Charles Johnson in this situation in the first. We may have to go with Aaron Rouse in the second, and in the third we will pick a guy like Anthony Waters, if available.

Good first round with Willis, Horrendous 2nd round, 49ers do not need interior Linemen unless they trade Smiley, but then most likely the 49ers will address OG on day 2.

Round 2 give us Spencer or Meriweather

Round 3, I like Craig Davis better then Steve Smith.

Still waiting on that explanation.

reaching for a DT in round 1 , than picking a kicker in the 2nd with no need , than reaching again for another "prospect" cb in round 3

we have glaring needs for corners and LBs , no way throwing picks away for
a.) a DT in general ( cause at 27 , there is no "above mediocre" player at DT
b.) that DT , cause he is available in round 2 or 3

than you give us a kicker , again we have a bad bad defense , and it needs to be upgraded on nearly all positions , all the great kickers in the NFL right no , arent first day picks. so where is the point ?

round 3 is garbage , the CB have to be picked way earlier , to give us an immediate upgrade ... the DT in round 1 is no way an upgrade but a rotation guy.

please inform bro.
