Hey guys, here is my new mock as posted here:
Please post your comments!

Alright giants mock, dont particularly like the Trent Williams pick, and really dont like addressing the DT problem until the fourth round.

03-11-2010, 10:02 PM
DW is ok in the first, but if Gresham fell all the way to our pick at 43 and we PASSED on him, I'd go FRIGGIN NUTS!! And for a 6'0" OLB, yea, I don't see that happening at all. Parcells doesn't take OLB's under 6'2", like, ever. kthanks.

Then we got a chance at Demaryius Thomas, and we pass on him in the FOURTH round!? Give me a break!

This draft would be better for us:

1. Dan Williams
2. Jermaine Gresham
3. Chad Jones
4. Demaryius Thomas

Wow, that would be AWESOME!!

03-11-2010, 10:05 PM
wow it would have been an amazing patriots draft if u picked kindle over hughes. you also have two RBs to the pats. in order for that, i am thinking that u thought maroney must be cut/traded and for someone else to be out of a job....

Not a great value mock for the Steelers. Right positions, just not great players.

03-11-2010, 11:15 PM
i think i just came a little. That is an amazing packers draft. I like it.

03-11-2010, 11:26 PM
Very good Vikes mock, except Tim Tebow is not a quarterback. I love Kareem Jackson. Corner isn't a huge need, but it is good value.

03-12-2010, 12:09 AM
We have a corner to play opposite of Foxworth, Lardarius Webb. He was our best corner (possibly defensive back) when he started last season.

03-12-2010, 12:18 AM
Thanks for the vote of confidence but Chicago needs more than 1 offensive lineman. I couldnt be happier if we got Morgan Burnett though.

03-12-2010, 12:20 AM
That KC mock is amazing. The only thing I could say is that in your next mock, we could really use another OL (G/C). Other than that, kickass job man.

03-12-2010, 01:18 AM
good job on the dallas mock. Pouncey would be an excellent value pick and Nate Allen would be a steal in the late second. I was really surprised by the early Brandon Graham pick for the Bills. I can see the need for a rush backer, but realistically the Bills have got to get something together on that offensive line in the first

03-12-2010, 02:34 AM
You pretty much took our top two needs and used our entire draft to adress them lol. A little overboard Williams is great, but after that we could use a homerun RB, a kick returner, and maybe even another OLB.

03-12-2010, 02:39 AM
I like the first three saints picks (which are the most important picks)

03-12-2010, 03:16 AM

I don't like the Bryant pick. Talent doesn't trump being a pain in the ass, as Brandon Marshall has proven. He would have to ace the interview process to make this happen.

Arenas would match up poorly with the big receivers that seem to be in style in the AFC West.

Hard to imagine taking Zac Robinson over J.D. Walton in the 4th - we need a C badly.

Jerry is great, I like the Wilson pick as well. Don't know enough about the kid from Wingate.

I love McCoy and I like Gilyard in the 3rd but I hate our 2nd round. Do not like Patrick Robinson or Hardy in the 2nd. I would rather have Arrelious Benn and Perrish Cox.

1. McCoy
2a. Benn
2b. Cox
3. Gilyard

would be awesome. Throw in a DE later on.

Titans have 6 regular picks and need to come out of this draft with:

2 DE's
1 CB
1 RS
1 OLB (I'm predicting David Thornton gets cut)
1 DT (I'm predicting Jovan Haye gets cut)

They'll also possibly get a BPA or two, but including compensatory picks, I think they'll address all that.

You gave them:

2 DE
1 CB
1 S
2 WR
1 OG
1 DT

JPP is awesome. The Oghobaase pick is great. Perfect NT for our DEF, and is kinda fitting that the comp. pick we got from losing Haynesworth is used on another huge NT. I'll shrug off the 2 OLB's, since Will Witherspoon was a recent signing. Watson is good; Cole is not since he doesn't really fit our DEF and we'll only need 1 OLB. Major Wright was a tremendous value, but he's not gonna unseat Hope or Griffin and it's a little too early to invest in a guy to eventually take over for Hope. I dunno if Price is a returner, but McGaha isn't so he's a bad pick. It's a huge mistake to not give the Titans a capable return specialist. Bad returners single handedly lost them games last season, so they'll undoubtedly address that gaping hole in the Draft.

All in all not bad. You picked them some very good players, which is always a premium to get studs. But, there are some areas that didn't make sense for them, and a few needs were left unfulfilled. Look forward to the next one Scar!

22) New England Patriots – OLB Jerry Hughes – 6′1-3/4″ 255 – Texas Christian

New England needs a top pass rusher to allow their defense to get back to being one of the best in the NFL. Jerry Hughes has one of the best pass rushing productions in the draft and could very well be the player New England needs to give them a true pass rush outside of just Tully Banta-Cain.

26) Arizona Cardinals – OLB Sergio Kindle – 6′2-7/8″ 250 – Texas

Arizona needs an OLB to fit its defense and help out with the pass rush. Sergio Kindle is arguably the best 3-4 OLB in the draft and will make the Arizona defense that much better. Kindle is an amazing player and while he doesn’t fit everyone’s scheme he should fit with the Cardinals personality well.

I don't get this. You call Kindle the best 3-4 OLB in the draft, but still Patriots select Hughes over Kindle? If you gave the Patriots Kindle instead it would be a great Patriots draft despite the fact that you gave us two RBs. Now it's just a decent draft for the Patriots. Also, while I do like the Gresham pick I think that BB would have a hard time passing on Spikes who fits what the Patriots need at ILB perfectly.

I like the first three saints picks (which are the most important picks)

I don't know. It's okay but I would take Cam Thomas over Houston in round 2. There are some others things I might do differently based on how this draft falls.

03-12-2010, 08:30 AM
No way would the Colts pass on OL help in the 2nd. I think they'll go OL in the 1st unless there is absolutely no one there. Price is not a bad pick but if guys like Veldheer and Fox and Asamoah were available in the 2nd they would not take a guy who would at best be a nickel corner.

Love the idea of solidifying the offensive line for the next decade, some on here may push for another direction, and while it may not be my first choice I would still be pleased in April if it turned out this way.
Love Perrish Cox, if his red flags aren't deemed significant I think he can be a great player for us.
Absolutely confused at three safeties - could you elaborate on those?

03-12-2010, 09:42 AM
Decent Steelers mock.

03-12-2010, 10:01 AM
1. Hughes - OLB
2. Gresham - TE (Jax)
2. Odrick - DE (Ten)
2. Dwyer - RB
4. McKnight - RB
6. Carter - OG
7. Pinard - S
7. Estes - C (comp)
7. Virgil - CB (comp)
7. Hiller - QB (comp)

As mentioned, the Hughes over Kindle selection seems unlikely. BB is from the Parcell's school of drafting (for better or worse) where 6'4 is the size you need to be drafted as an OLB. However, I like the pass rush ability that Hughes brings and would love him or Graham despite the height issue.

Gresham and Odrick in the second round? Sign me the **** up!! Love it.

Dwyer . . . ok. He hasn't been that impressive and Matthews is still on the board but it's a position of need so I won't quibble over which players I like better since the Pats never work off my board. ;)
(My thoughts here: This pick, especially with OLB, DE & TE covered already, probably becomes bait in the classic BB trade down game. Targeting a guy like Matt Tennant to take over for Koppen b/c he's getting blown up by big NTs. But I know trades are a pita and most people don't do it for mocks.)

McKnight - love it. I agree with shoota that 2 RBs makes for a mess in our already crammed backfield, though. Maroney, BJGE, Sammy Morris, Kevin Faulk and Fred Taylor . . . which two go?

Carter at OG is a good pick based on positional need.

Pinard is not. NE has Meriweather, Chung, Sanders and McGowan locked up and all 4 played significant time and played well last year. More importantly, Tony Washington is available and would be a great fit as a developmental RT for the 2011 season when Light becomes a 32 year old free agent and Vollmer takes over the LT spot.

Virgil & Hiller are fine picks as candidates for the practice squad. :D

Dallas doesnt actually need interior line help all that much. Sure they could use depth but, they dont need to be splurging on G/C in the 1st round. You pretty much have two perennial Pro Bowlers at this point, in Gurode and Davis. And Kosier actually played better than both of them this year. Chances they go interior line are very, very slim to none. The reason Iupati would make sense, though...is because, he actually has some LT potential, Pouncey could play multiple positions but, he isnt a Left Tackle. I dont get where people are coming up with the idea that we need major help at guard. Davis isnt going anywhere and again, Kosier may have been the best lineman on the team this year. He was great for us.

LT, S, or DE are the most likely of selections. With WR being a very unlikely dark horse. Wouldnt be all that surprised if we dont go WR at all again this year.

At first I thought this was an old mock that got necro bumped, than I read the title.

Quite meh for the Chiefs

03-13-2010, 09:03 PM
Meh for the vikings as well.

Pat Sims 90
03-13-2010, 09:33 PM
I am fine with all the Bengals picks but i would take out Gerhart and put best OG because Scott locked decent in limited time last year and the coachs are pretty high on him

03-15-2010, 11:50 AM
Nothing agianst the pick but, Clifton on the right side? That's what they resigned Tauscher for. Cliffy can't run block worth a darn these days but he can still pass pro with the best of them.

03-16-2010, 01:24 PM

Damien Williams pick is good although it is for a wrong reason. You dont use first round pick on a slot receiver unless he runs 4.3. If you are determined that Jets need a slot receiver then Long or White as big slot receiver or Sanders (perfect ideal for that role) is better choice in mid-late rounds.

I am not sure about drafting TE as I thought they would sign TE as UDFA but it is good value. However, I still think Jets should draft either OL or another DL. I have a big crush on Hardesty and you had him fell all the way to 6th round so I may want him instead of Dickson.

Nice job.

Edwards is not a lock for next 3 years so having a future number one wr in the wing is necessary. Relationship between Sanchez and Williams is not completed as I believe they played together for only one season.

03-17-2010, 11:41 PM
I guess I need to do a better job of tracking what I give each team next time.

03-23-2010, 06:54 PM
like everything except Mays.would prefer Allen
