safety is not a need for the patriots at all. that said, i like JPP alot, so thats sweet

03-11-2010, 11:01 PM
Brown doesnt fit our system at all, he is purely a ZBS type of guy, in this scenario i assume we take iupati

Thomas in the 2nd is fine

03-11-2010, 11:18 PM
Chad Jones would be better in the 2nd, but I like the first rounder for the Phins.

03-11-2010, 11:28 PM
Good Vikes mock.

Pat Sims 90

Horriable Bengals Mock

Both picks are reaches

Thomas in the 2nd is fine

What he said.

Hughes and Gresham are possibilities as well.

Like the Cam Thomas pick, but I am intrigued by Kareem Jackson. Have been reading some good stuff about him.

Iupati to Vikings is a nice pick.

Bowman in the second is okay, but would much much rather have Kareem Jackson.

03-12-2010, 02:29 AM
I don't like the niners second round pick especially with Sapp, and Best still on the board.

03-12-2010, 02:41 AM
32. NO: Maurkice Pouncey (Jr.) C/G-Florida
64. NO: Aaron Hernandez (Jr.) TE-Florida

yeah I HATE both picks

03-12-2010, 07:55 AM
yeah I HATE both picks

I HATE THEM MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I could actually rationalize Pouncey though I wouldn't want to see us take him in the first, and do not believe we would take him given our defensive needs. But Hernandez in round 2? Hmmm...sounds like wishful thinking from a fan of a conference foe.

matthews is ok in rd 2 but shanahan prefers to go after rbs later in the draft and if we sign a vet like parker as it looks like we will, than i doubt we go rb that early.

03-12-2010, 08:03 AM
Couple of nice picks for GB...would prefer Kareem Jackson in round two but Sapp is solid

Round 1

9. BUF: Bryan Bulaga (Jr.) OT-Iowa

41. BUF: Jerry Hughes OLB-TCU

That would be a good start to this years draft for the Bills... Nice job :)

Not even in the late rounds b/c the Pats have Meriweather, Chung, Sanders and McGowan and they all played well last year.

Give us a TE there and it's a stellar draft. Gronk or Dickson should both fit, so either one is fine.

Two CBs in the 1st two rounds for the Colts? Do you just not have any idea what the Colts need or value in the draft? For the Colts this is the worst mock I have seen.

03-12-2010, 10:44 AM
We pass over Brian Price who combined with Sed would give us the next best DT tandem for the next 5 years for Pouncey? Really? Then we get a TE whose overrated and would be a waste of a pick that high when we need a starting OLB/DE? Really?

03-12-2010, 11:23 AM
Good Vikings picks, both are good value, but it sucks to see us not filling our biggest need of S.

03-12-2010, 11:34 AM
I would be happy with those picks.

03-12-2010, 11:40 AM
Good Browns picks, but I'd prefer Ducasse in the 2nd round

03-12-2010, 11:47 AM
27. DAL: Carlos Dunlap (Jr.) DE-Florida
59. DAL: Vladimir Ducasse G/T-Massacussetts

I can stomach Ducasse but Dunlap... Ware & Spencer are our long-term starters and with Victor Butler (who performed well) and Brandon Williams backing them up. Dunlap isn't a very good fit for 3-4 IMO anyhow.

Replacing Dunlap with Iupati or Pouncey lets Dallas add some flexibility to their oline by either adding Iupati to replace Kosier at LG or adding Pouncey and letting him and Gurode battle out between LG and C.

Secondly after drafting Iupati or Pouncey in the 1st they would be free to look for a playmaker. Since your mock has Gilyard slipping that would be excellent value for Dallas. He gives them a legit slot WR as well as a dynamic kick and punt returner.

^ Changing to those selections fill 2 major needs and is probably the best case scenario outside of one of the top LTs or FS prospects falling to them.
