I understand the reasoning for giving the Bills Anthony Davis because everyone is the world knows we need a Tackle and this is not just for you becuase I have seen it in almost every mock draft. Anthony Davis came to the combine slow and out of shape. He already has character issues from being in college, and some people think he wont be anything more then a RT. After all of this, he decides that he is not going to participate in pro day drills which i'm sure made the scouts and general managers very happy. Does that sound like Anthony Davis will be a top 10 pick now? He'll be lucky to go low in round one. Think Winston Justice type free fall for him.

I honestly dont think Buffalo is going to take a QB but thats just my opinion so i understand the Pike pick in rd 3 and I like Cody in round 2

Not a bad job. Personally, I would rather have Davis with our first and then with the 2nd, Hughes or Washington would be great. Also wouldn't mind D'Anthony Smith with our last 3rd. Got most of our needs besides a 2nd cb.

That was a roller coaster.

- I can't see us going WR in the first anymore, particularly Benn.

- Great pick with Jones here.

- Crashed into the ground with Hernandez. We need a TE who's a big, physical blocker.

22 New England Patriots Mike Iupati OG Idaho

44 New England Patriots Alex Carrington DE Arkansas St.

47 New England Patriots Tim Tebow QB Florida

53 New England Patriots Koa Misi OLB Utah

Not diggin' it.

Aside from Tebow (see sig) you do a good job hitting positions of need.

But . . .

- Pass rush is a major need and waiting that long and landing Misi is awfully scary.
- Iupati would be awesome, but TE and pass rush are desperate needs, too. I'm not sure I like him enough when there will be some solid talent later and a guy like Pouncey offers the versatility NE needs and loves.
- DE is a need but I'm not sure we won't see Pryor / Wright working a rotation to fill that spot while giving Brace more time to develop or bust and then filling that DE spot next year with one of two 1st round picks. (IMO, that Oakland 1st round pick should be high enough to target a top DE talent next year. Although Odrick is a good possibility at 22, I think.)
- Tebow . . . ain't happening. BB was confident enough in Hoyer's development that he didn't even keep a 3rd QB on the roster last season. The Tebow talk has smokescreen written all over it.
- Misi is a nice pick. I like him and would love to add him. But I'd like it even more if he came in with Kindle / Graham / Hughes to play the other side.

I doubt we take a WR in the 1st now

Jones is a nice pick

Hernandez is a horriable pick he will never see the field in our offense because he cant block

I like the Panthers mock. Thomas is a little risky but at the same time i think hell do great, i would take a DT in round 3 but not Jones but i really cant complain too much about it since i do like Jones and wouldnt mind at all if he was the pick. "A" for the Panthers mock

This is the second mock I've seen giving us Cam Thomas over Lemarr Houston, do people really think Thomas is a better prospect than Houston?

Seems like you left Sergio Kindle out of this, so I will take him in the 1st, because we no longer need McClain with the Dansby signing. Then give us Demaryius Thomas in the 2nd. kthanksbye.

Eric Berry in the first for the redskins, the second round is ok.

Honestly it was a terrible Patriots mock. They draft...a guard in the first round? What in the world? After that, they address pass rusher with probably the worst possible option of all the guys in the top two rounds, overdraft Carrington, and make the worst pick they possibly could with Tebow.

I'd go with (based on who's left at the time):

1. Jermaine Gresham
2. Damian Williams
2. Jahvid Best
2. Ricky Sapp

Although to be honest after looking at the way the board falls in your mock (all the pass rushers off the board in a hurry), the Patriots would be screwed. I'd still be pissed that 3/4 of their first two rounds were offensive players.

Round 1
9 Buffalo Bills Anthony Davis OT Rutgers
13 San Francisco 49ers [/B]Trent Williams OT Oklahoma
14 Seattle Seahawks [/B]Bryan Bulaga OT Iowa
26 Arizona Cardinals [/B]Dan Williams NT Tennessee
40 Seattle Seahawks Nate Allen S South Florida[/B]
41 Buffalo Bills [/B]Terrence Cody DT Alabama
43 Miami Dolphins [/B]Jerry Hughes OLB TCU
46 New York Giants [/B]Cam Thomas DT North Carolina
47 New England Patriots [/B]Tim Tebow QB Florida
48 Carolina Panthers [/B]Demaryius Thomas WR Georgia Tech
52 Pittsburgh Steelers [/B]Jared Veldheer OT Hillsdale
60 San Diego Chargers Tyson Alualu DE Cal
72 Buffalo Bills [/B]Tony Pike QB Cincinnati
86 Green Bay Packers [/B]Dexter McCluster RB/RS Ole Miss

FYI: The Chargers and Seahawks swapped second round picks, putting the Chargers unfortunatly infront of Buffalo in the second round, which IMO means there is no chance of Buffalo getting Cody unless they trade up...

I have been a big fan of Davis for a long time... However I would agree with gonzo for the most part and think Davis has really hurt himself this off season, particularly since the combine started. I cant see Buffalo taking him over Bulaga, Dan or Trent Williams at this point. I listed other options IMO after the given players having said what I said.
