The CFL's combine featuring only canadian-born players is this weekend, here are some of the standouts.

Concordia's LB Cory Greenwood (6-2, 235): 4.50 40, 40 vertical, 10'4.5 broad 4.22 short shuttle

Wilfird Laurier's RB Mike Montoya (5-10, 236): 4.60 40, 35 vertical, 9.45 broad, 4.69 short shuttle, 40 rep on the 225 bench press.

Besides Vaughn Martin, did any of these guys actually get drafted and make a NFL roster?

Last year's standout, RB Jamall Lee (4.39 40 at 229 pounds), failed to stick with the Panthers after he spent all TC with them and played the 4 pre-season games. Of course it was not the best decision to sign with the most RB-rich team in the league. He's now with the BC lions.

Greenwood stands the most chances to get noticed by the NFL, he's a 4 time All-Québec selection, 2-time All-Canadian, and a CIS defensive player of the year.

How does a RB run a slower short shuttle than 40?

Yea, he is good. Its notable that he ran a 4.5 flat 40 at the combine at 235 pounds. Thats faster than any LB at the Indy combine.

Maybe someone will try to sign him as a FA.

He is tight in the hips.

Greenwood is going to at the very least be in an NFL training camp (he has a great chance of actually being drafted now), he is by far the best defensive player in Canada and is a force to be reckoned with.

His range is amazing, he has that type of Urlacher range...

I knew he'd test well, but I didn't think he was going to test this well.

The thing with Turner is his size. His bench press was impressive as well.

Cory Greenwood is a ************* stud.

He had alot of D1 interest out of HS but couldn't get past clearinghouse, don't be surprised if he is this years Vaughn Martin.

I remember. He was a first rounder back in 08. Then he started to drop mysteriously, and went undrafted, and never made it to the NFL. That sucks.
