You're getting too creative with the Baltimore pick. We're not taking Davis, Gaither and Oher are arguably already the best young tandem at T in the league.

I think it's a common misconception that Ozzie will go purely on BPA. He does seem to get great value at our picks, but that value is ALWAYS at a position of need. Look it up for yourselves, we've always taken guys that we actually need (and Davis is not that).

We've tendered him with a only a first (like that's a cheap price anyways), but I haven't heard anything about us actually looking to trade him. I honestly think it's just an easy out for Ozzie by letting Gaither go out and get a contract that could represent market value for him. Ozzie doesn't have to do the actual negotiations, just let him sign a tender elsewhere and then match the offer. We most likely aren't going to accept anything lower than a mid-first rounder for him anyways, and even if we did, you can't give us Davis without a trade representing Gaither going somewhere in your mock ;).

I don't know what the Vikings would do with Bruce Campbell. He wouldn't even have a chance to see the field for years unless McKinnie or Loadholt had a serious injury...
