Where is he slated to go now? We need a 3-4 OLB that can rush. Do you think he can succeed in that role?

From potential top 10 pick to who knows at this point. Might be seeing a Quentin Moses 2.0 type of situation.

IMO the best for the kid is to play 4-3 DE in the pros.

I think he will end up like Michael Johnson last year and drop to the 3rd

He is best suited to play 4-3 DE then 3-4 LB

Quentin Moses, Michael Johnson effect.

Sad, the guy's awesome. He should have been a late 1st guy.

A team might take a chance on him in the second.
But I wouldn't.
He's too inconsistent and isn't strong enough to be effective in the NFL.

and he looks like Prince wicked bad.

I agree that his best fit is as a 4-3 DE. I've always been impressed when I've seen Hardy on the field, but his disastrous offseason along with his general apathy towards his craft as of late is definitely concering. I think 3rd or 4th round sounds about right; he has a lot of raw talent. I'm hoping with the proper coaching he can reach his ceiling because I feel it is pretty high.

I will bet that he goes in the fourth round.

Id say mid 3rd to early 4th is his stock right now

Wow, both Hardy & Selvie were 1st day prospects last year, now both are considered to be mid round picks.

Yeah, probably is a bit of a reach, but I figured that if Troy Smith & Chris Leak could fall to the 5th and beyond then maybe Colt McCoy will be there in the 4th! Decker is a guy I've always liked, wasn't sure where he was slated to go so I checked Walter and they had him as a 5th-6th round guy.

+1

Hardy's still one of my favorite prospects in this draft. He's no Moses. I like both him and Selvie in the pros, but Hardy moreso.

If Hardy stayed healthy, he'd be the unanimous #1 DE. He could also handle 3-4 OLB too. I don't see why not...he worked out very well in drills.

Theres no question he can get it done on the field, he has already proven he can do that. Better player than Moses or Johnson ever were, he just has been constantly hurt. If he can get healthy he will be a huge steal, he can play LB in the 3-4 too.

If the Colts took him in the 2nd (after getting a solid OLman in the 1st) I'd be happy. He has proven he can play. I think the attitude problems have been overblown a bit. The big question mark is his health. I think he'll go higher than some here think.
