Ran a couple of 4.65s at 6-6 and 260 at his pro day and supposedly showed no ill effects of his year off from back problems. I think if you're looking for that Jason Witten type player this is your guy. A good pro day must be a lock to go top 10 right?:)

I think there are still some questions about his desire... many thought he could have come back during the season but decided against it.

I Still think he is behind Gresham as the top TE. Which likely means second round, or best case, bottom of the first.

I wasnt aware of his being able to come back during the season and my guess is when you have back surgery you're probably advised not too push it.

Personally i think he brings more to the game than Gresham who is primarily a receiver. As for desire does Gresham get the same scrutiiny for not coming back at some point in the season?

Assuming they both check out medically, I think Gresham is clearly the #1 guy at the position, but that's not really a knock of Gronkowski. I think he's a great prospect who is easily good enough to be a first round pick (although I imagine the 2nd round will be his ultimate destination).

I am not sure if Gresham had that Luxury. The unfortunate thing for Gronkowski is that with a Back, it isn't as cut and dry from a timeline perspective of when a player should be back to 100%. Knee injuries are so common now that the time frames are universally understood by team doctors.

I don't think anyone could have expected Gresham to come back from the knee injury.

Rushing back after back surgury? I guess he figurd he'd be more of a sports star alive and walking.

Appears Gronkowski is the quicker of the two and clearly a better blocker. I personally think they're both late first to mid-2nd guys.

He had back issues that kept him out and has Spinal Stenosis. That hurts, literally and figuratively, his stock.

and has Spinal Stenosis.

I believe that is unconfirmed. I would imagine if his back is in fact 100% (including no degenerative condition) he would have a specialist issue a report on it to all teams. If no such report comes out, I would say that is a huge red flag.

That has not been confirmed by any doctors and a certain amount of back degeneration is probably common with most athletes, certainly is with me.

His agent and college coach say he is a 100% good to go.
