An unnamed team has offered the Raiders a second-round pick this year and a first-round pick next year in exchange for the Raiders' No. 8 overall pick. (Well, the team has a name, but our league source wouldn't share).

I've heard rumors that some team may try to move up into the Top 10 to draft CJ Spiller. I wonder if these rumors are related.

My guess would be New England... They have three 2nd round picks this year and two 1st round picks in 2011, one being ours.

Raiders get a 2010 2nd round pick and maybe get their 2011 1st round pick back? with one of those 2nd rounder we trade for McNabb?

i love this time of year...

I think we should jump on it. Assuming we trade pick 39 for McNabb then this would enable us to replenish our second rounder. We would still have enough ammunition to trade back into the first round to nab somebody like Campbell who may be available late. McNabb can always play up to a first round billing, as long as there is some way we can convince to him stay on long-term, or just suffer the consequences of franchising him the near $20 mil it would cost.

As long as it ain't the Chargers then count me in.

Actually the CJ Spiller rumor makes sense when you consider that the Bills hold the next pick and are a likely landing spot for him.

Old man Al should be all over this trade IF the team offering the trade is also switching 1st Round picks in this years draft!

If they are not willing to switch 1st Round picks this year, then the old man needs to say he wants to switch 1st Rounders this year, and wants their 3rd Rounder this year and next years 1st Rounder.

Deal done IMO!

The Pats have 3 2nd rounders.

Just saying though.

I'm tired of the Pats taking advantage of old Al.
