Handheld 40 times from NFL scouts:

Charles Brown - 5.25

Jeff Byers - 5.09

Adam Goodman - 5.03

Everson Griffen - 4.59

Will Harris - 4.59

Nick Howell - 5.07

Stafon Johnson - 4.62

Alex Parsons - 4.90

Averell Spicer - 5.03

Kevin Thomas - 4.43

The following times are electronic:

Michael Coleman - 4.91

Hershel Dennis - 4.65

Omar Nazel - 4.93

Ryan Powdrell - 5.01

Thomas Herring - 5.48

Mays didnt run because of his performance at the combine. However, he did participate in the position drills, and looked more fluid in his hips than he has shown before.

WR's and RB's ran routes and Damian looked very good. Didnt have any QB's to throw them the ball because all of the QBs in So Cal are still playing and they are not allowed to participate. They brought back a former walk on to throw to them.

I think Griffens 40 time was very impressive, may have made him a lock for the 1st round.

2nd link is a video with a recap and look at some of the drills they ran, and has a few interviews.

Griffen is a beast

If someone can keep him motivated and determined hes going to be a great player in this league.

Big "if", IMO.

Now he is a guy that reminds me of Vernan Gholston, I remember people comparing Derrick Morgan to Gholston but Griffen just screams Gholston. Although Griffen is much more agile and fluid in his drops than Gholston, his play scares me for round 1

So many people compare this or that player to Gholston and it's almost never a good comparison. Griffen had more total games played but Gholston had superior production and started both seasons he was eligible. Gholston was a much better player than Griffen in college.

I do think their NFL careers will be similar, unless Gholston turns it around.

Love Griffen but USC pro day times, which historically are very generous, arent going to lift anyone's stock in my opinion.
